Sushi Ocean Dream

Went there after they had closed for a few days. Wasabi and pickled ginger were moldy! You could smell it before it got to the table. How didn’t they smell it? Used to be our favourite place to go in Grand Forks. Not no more.

We have enjoyed sushi all over Canada and this is some of the best sushi we have ever had. Definitely will be back.

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. I was not expecting to find authentic Asian cuisine in south central, small town BC. However, Sushi Ocean Dream served up some of the best pho I’ve had in many years. I loved all the fresh herb add ins, big chunks of chicken breast and the broth was amazing. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend giving this establishment a try!

Good Food, Decent staff. Affordable Japanese Food pricing. I especially love their Spicy Chicken Udon

My family and I have been coming to this sushi restaurant for nearly 2 years. It is a great place to relax and have sushi.and we have been to so many places that we definitely know a good sushi restaurant when we eat at one. Skillfully, artfully made food that tastes excellent. I got a massive portion of salmon teriyaki for take-out today, thank you so much! Also, the owners and the staff are awesome. Thank you sushi ocean dream, The food is fabulous and the gommae is to die for! Cheers!

Love this place! Mostly get take out but stopped and had a bowl of spicy seafood udon, was delicious!

Had a special roll. My only gripe was with the size of the roll. It was delicious but from my experience having sushi over the years, was a bit undersized for a 'special' roll at the price point paid. Should have been a larger diameter roll for the price paid. Worth going for the sushi experience however.

Sushi is really good and very flavourful. Customer service is great, always very friendly.

Don't go here often enough. Had the lunch teriyaki beef bowl. Comes with Miso soup. Both excellent and reasonably priced.

The sushi is amazing! My 4 year old loves this place as well. Such a great atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely a place to experience while visiting Grand Forks!
