Sushico Japanese Restaurant

The Lady that helped us with the ordering was very patient giving us good information. We got ours Togo and enjoyed at home. Nothing was forgotten.

All the sushi preparations were in the top 5 of Fraser Valley for me. Which means if I'm in Langley and craving Sushi this would be the foremost place for me.

Website is out of date. I ordered the medium assorted roll platter and it was 10 rolls short. I called and talked to the manager and he said it was a misprint and offered nothing to solve the problem. I wouldn't have ordered it had I known that. Poor customer service.

My first time trying this place thought I’d stop in to grab lunch. There was a fly very obviously on the top of my appetizer when it was brought to the table, they “remade it” very quickly (took it to the back and took the fly off) and then the rest of my food I ordered was incorrect. The staff was all sitting at different tables with their feet up eating and chatting, which is fine until they didn’t wash their hands before prepping food, not a good look. I ate my lunch and left, but I likely won’t be coming back.

My boyfriend and i are regulars and it’s the only place we go! Always amazing food and kind servers! The miso soup is so good!

Great solo spot for a quiet lunch. First thing I noticed was the music playing in the background; calming, just the right ambience I was looking for. Tasty meals, friendly waiters and private seating areas to the right. Had the Crazy Girl roll and Salmon Fever to go. Great spot. Definitely recommend.

We ordered many rolls and they mix up our order and didn’t count the dish in our bill which means one plate for free: P i don’t recommend the chef special roll…it doesn’t taste as great…

Not many ppl in the restaurant when we arrived, i think this is Korean own Japanese restaurant?
Overall i dont think i will drive to langley just to eat here the food was just so so ;)

We ventured to Sushico before attending a game at the Langley Events Centre. The servers were friendly and attentive. The restaurant clean. We ordered a few items. The tea and miso soup were hot. I cannot stress what a turnoff a sushi restaurant is serving warm tea and miso soup. The tempura was freshly fried and the batter perfect. The chirashi don and spicy trio were good sized portions. We had left overs. Rice and fish were yummy. Highly recommend coming here!

Could not be more disappointed. This is the second time we’ve had issues and their response is “we could maybe give you store credit” then hung up on us (benefit of the doubt - it may have been an accident). They didn’t have a component of our meal in the bag, and my father had to leave his meal to freeze so he could pick up the rest of our order so we wouldn’t “maybe get a store credit. ”

They gave us a Pepsi can to “compensate” the gas, time, and money wasted.

I’m not one to complain so ruthlessly, but when you pay a substantial amount, is it so hard to have gotten a proper refund offered?

I understand food scams exist, but we just wanted our California Rolls we paid for.

Disappointed.the beef ribs price is now just under $40.00.r u kidding? The all you can eat ribs were dry.i used to chow down on their corn bread (rectangular sized). And now they are simply a 2 inch square with sugar on the top!? Ugh. Fries were? Cold. I'm sorry to say, i wont be back.

Was good and clean place, I was upset because prices are little over, I asked for Sriracha sauce and they charge $1.00 without telling me! Im sorry I'm a sushi lover, I been many many sushi places they never charge me for sauce

I really like the variety on their menu and servings were large. I especially like that they have lunch and dinner box/bentos. I had the chicken teriyaki dinner box: tempura was light, hot and crispy and the chicken karaage pieces were large and crunchy, the chicken teriyaki was okay and dynamite roll was very average. Take note that the appetizer Sushico Tower is served on top of sushi rice (it doesn't say on menu) and is large enough for one person's meal. I can't judge on quality of sashimi or nigiri as we didn't order. Service was friendly, dining room seemed clean. I would dine here again to try more menu items next time I'm in Langley. My brother and his wife live in the area and they love this place.

Had lunch here late in the week. It wasn't super busy and the service was fast and efficient. We each ordered a main, which comes with a starter of miso soup. We also asked for a plate of vegetable tempura for the table. The servings were large. I put aside my soup figuring it was going to spoil my appetite. Good decision. The bowl of rice, cabbage and chicken that arrived could have fed 2 people as it was. But wanting to dip into the tempura as well meant there was going to be a fair amount left over. No problem. Just ask for a container and you can take the leftovers home. We did and they were well received by a room mate. Delicious!

Good sushi but overpriced for what you get. Sometimes hard to phone in for takeout.

Dined in and was given take out paper menus to order. Prices have gone up significantly. Too great of a price jump for a sushi place in this area. Food was okay but nothing special to make me want to spend more $$.

The food was generally really good with quality ingredients but the tempura potatoes could’ve used a bit more flavor

Excellent service with a great, quiet atmosphere. All the sushi and rolls were super fresh and flavorful with some unusual twists. I had the Sweetheart roll with super flavorful tuna. My family had various pieces of tuna sushi that all proved to be fresh, flavorful and nicely prepared.
The servers were all attentive yet not oppressive, and gave some great insight to the menu, including good recommendations from a selection of sake. We didn't stay long after our meal because of theater and Knicks tickets, but felt very welcome to stay and enjoy as long as we wanted. Overall, a great dining experience.

Ordered takeout for the family and one third of the order was missing. Was charged and paid for but never got one miso soup and two panko dynamite rolls. Asked the restaurant to hold off on the usual sesame seeds but the chefs still sprinkled sesame seeds everywhere on four sushi rolls. The sushi that we did get was stale and disgusting (see brownish avocado on enclosed photo). Keep your money and get your sushi elsewhere.

It was good. Service was slow to acknowledge us when we came in but once we were seated service was fine.

Food was delicious. Sashimi was large pieces. We ordered $200 in food and the staff saw things the order that could be bundled as a combo to save money and did that for us. Service was attentive. Food came quick.

Sushico is one of my favourite sushi restaurants. Their service is amicable and their sushi tastes great! They have a VERY large menu so you could definitely find something that you would like even if you had dietary restrictions or certain preferences. One of my personal favourites there is their BBQ short ribs - it is so tender! The smoky taste of the ribs is amazing and something that I crave very often. Their prices are decent, maybe slightly higher than your average sushi restaurant but that's likely because they use good quality ingredients. If you are in the Langley area and you are craving sushi, Sushico is my recommendation for you!

Very good sushi except our expensive red tuna sashimi came out rock solid frozen and was not edible. Servers didn't even apologize or try to fix.

Dine-in is a nightmare. All they care about is Skip the Dishes. Sorry to inconvenience the staff with a dine in order. Good sushi, but id suggest bringing your own appetizers.

This place use to be amazing but have gone down hill fast recently. The last 2xs we ordered we ordered for pick up we experienced the same issue. When we showed up to pick up, they had given part of our order to someone else, so we had to wait meanwhile the rest of our order was sitting there getting cold. Waited forever for the food, then the coconut shrimp which were cooked first were left sitting there and were cold and unediable. The first time we let go, the second time I called and complained, person was very nice and said they would put a credit on our account. When we called to order again, no notes for a credit and the person on the phone was exceptionally rude. We will not go back here.

Food always good. This time the food was cold I understand the restaurant was super busy with take out. But most of the time we get a great food

Food portion is big. Price is fair. However, service is poor. Even they are busy, waitress can be more attentive reasonably.

The food and service is fantastic. Sushico is our go to spot for Japanese in Langley. Everything is fresh. The prices are reasonable.

Ordered from here a week ago and was called by the restaurant promptly after the courier left their premises to hear that they forgot one item. They offered to either deliver it personally to my home or give me store credit. I would have been fine with store credit, but as my family demanded they deliver it, they did (very quick and no negative tone!). Even if the item had been missing and the restaurant was unaware, the amount of food this place gives you well makes up for it - my dinner box had nearly twice the amount of food in it than you receive from other sushi restaurants. The prices are average for the industry, but the quality and quantity is above and beyond, and so is their customer service. We are ordering again from sushico as I write this!

Found the restaurant by accident the other night. Great food for a reasonable price. Great variety to choose from. Top notch food for the sushi lover.

Staff was good. Portion size was good (salmon roll, deep fried dynamite, prawn & yam roll and salmon sashimi), prices were a bit higher, but the quality and service were good.

Ordered take out last night from Sushico (which happens to be my FAVOURITE restaurant!), and there was a surprise in there for us to enjoy! Thank you to all the staff from us As usual we thoroughly enjoyed your food. Thank you, thank you! Nola

Fantastic sushi restaurant. Very fresh and flavorful. Great service and selection too. Definitely recommend this place.

Food was excellent, service was ok, nothing wrong, just not attentive to things like, refill tea, order more, how is it so far.
The food; as good as I have had it anywhere! Great soup broth and noodles cooked perfectly. Sashimi cut perfectly and of course very fresh. It needs to be cleaner, they put in high gloss stone in black tiles that show everything, so they have to keep them swept with a soft dust mop. But what got me was the light switch in the washroom, it was scotch taped on. Come on guys, 21st century here, either put on a new switch plate or get it done, scotch tape cannot be any kind of solution EVER. But the food is great, cost is slightly higher than most but I will give it another shot, see what happens then and if this gets edited. Dear restaurant I now have over 30,000 followers and will soon be starting my own food blog.

I was off by hearing one of (Canadian Korean) waitress swearing at customer behind the back. I would not visit.

We actually really like this place. Just discovered it the other week but they've been around for a while. Parking is not good especially on a Friday night because there are lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Large and bright. Modern decor. Service is quick. Food is well prepared and tasty. Not a lot of rice on their rolls and not a lot of sauce, both of which I prefer. The rolls are well portioned. Tempura arrived maybe a little too hot but I was hungry and it was my fault I got a little burnt. Gyoza was nice too. Our daughter had Salmon teriyaki and it was quite large overall and the salmon was larger than a side plate! A large variety of food and dishes without being outrageous. Both times the food has been tasty and fresh.

Sushi was very average.

Price was significantly above what other Japanese restaurants I've seen charge.

Interior is nothing special. The seating and tables looked quite spartan. Although I ordered take out.

Salmon Don bowl was amazing, 5/5 on that for the quality of fish used, portion size and presentation.

Overall 3/5, would only go here if I had no other alternatives.

Horrible service! Food was okay, did not like the veggie Sonomno and felt like I had to justify to our server why we didn’t like it and when I did she commented back with an attitude “do you know it’s made out of vinegar”. Yes I do know cause I write reviews for sushi places so take that negative attitude and please leave it at home and not towards your customers.

& super fresh sushi. Service is reasonably quick, staff pretty friendly.

I love the atmosphere. I had the best poke bowl EVER here today! The kids meals are also quite amazing for the price! I will be back!

I went for lunch and it was so delicious and very fast! And look at the presentation, very nice! I even had leftovers I couldn’t finish it all. The server knew I was in a rush so she was very quick to get my bill. I’ll definitely come again hopefully in less of a rush.

I've never seen it super busy here, however, they do a LOT of ship the dishes orders. Great food, good staff, always fresh.

This place is not that great, It kind of made me feel sick afterwords eating there. The food has a really bad aftertaste and doesn’t uphold great standards as other great sushi restaurants. I wouldn’t go back here again as there are way better Japanese restaurants out there.

Dinner at Sushico for the first time. Wonderful staff. Shared a Salmon Dinner Box. Very large and flavourful. Loved the salmon.

We come here on a regular basis and love it. Best California rolls around! Great service and reasonable pricing for the quality and selection.

Prices were good and the food was nice. Lighting and overall atmosphere is enjoyable and the restaurant is family friendly. Would recommend the Deep Fried Spicy Salmon Roll, the Crispy Roll, and the Chicken Karaage.
