Sussex Insurance - Victoria - Uptown

We came before closing to renew the car and cancel the insurance. They did not refuse us, they helped to do everything quickly and without too much fuss. Very satisfied!

I reached to get my transfer done witinf the working hours, 15 mins before the store closes, there was 1 person in the cue ahead of me and I was denied service saying I was late. Pathetic service

A bunch of clowns, I went to register a new car I had bought, all went smooth till I got home and received a call saying they missed a signature I needed to come back for, no biggy, mistakes happen. I told them I would be there at my earliest convenience. I was then hounded to come in with 2 more phone calls and voicemails. When I get there I find out all had been fixed but they did not call me, travelled across town in rush hour just to get there and they tell me its all been fixed. Wasn't super impressed.

Avoid at all costs. As per other reviews on here, I was incorrectly overcharged for 6 months resulting in being out $150. The manager is unprofessional and has poor customer service skills. When I initially went in to adjust my insurance, he grew angry and aggressive with me when I could not understand him due to his thick accent.

I came here as it was convenient while I had to pop in to Walmart briefly - a massive mistake. Go to Western Coast Insurance services where they are friendly, concise, and have the applicable service skills.

Went in to insure a new boat trailer they told me I need the previous registration it’s new there is no registration that’s why I’m trying to register it rather than give any advice they stood and laughed at me refused to do anything to help I’ll never go there again and recommend nobody else do either horrible people and a waste of time

At a convenient location with easy access while shopping at Uptown. Processing was fast and they were very knowledgeable.

Just went to get my insurance and they didn’t even give me plates! Now they are closed.thanks a lot!

Very courteous insurance experts who don't push hard to up sell. Impressed they're working in such a busy and very noise environment. Hours of operation is very convenient.

Me and my brother had a couple of things to do. We had fantastic service and flexibility with Ankit. He helped us out and worked with what we had to help us. Very friendly, personable, and understanding. Can't say enough about him. Such a great combo of service and knowledgeability.

Stood in line with no acknowledgement of the fact that I was there until 630 when they told me they couldn't see me. I work 6 days a week. Sometimes 2 jobs a day. Customer service is my main focus and it was clear this evening that it wasn't important to talk to your customers as they arrive to stand in line.

Very bad service. Plus they change the hour 9am-7pm without notice! Dont even let me line up in line at 6: 40pm.very very bad service, so i goto the one in langford walmart, they are still open till 9pm.same company, but different workers! Service is good at langford sussex insurance! Never will go back uptown sussex again!

These guys are super honest, friendly people. No B. S. Told me what I was getting a better deal on and what I was paying /compared to them. Even though I don't use them, my bf does and I will always recommend them.

Covid precautions are in place. If its busy they will collect name/number and hand you a numbered card. Service was quick and the girl behind the desk was super nice. 10/10 would renew my insurance again. (remember to take a picture of your odometer)

Very friendly staff and good customer service. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me more than I needed at all, and the transaction was very quick, leaving with the policy I wanted! Went here because everything else was closed but will definitely come back.

Staff are under trained and do not know how to process transfers. Better to go to a proper outlet instead of a kiosk in Walmart.

It was very very busy but the man at the front, Ankit was very kind and helpful, despite working in a hectic post covid mess. He and the other staff deserve an award for smiling through all the demanding customers!

Very helpfull staff members, with everything that is happening and them working remotely, I was able to get my insurance renewed within minutes through the telephone and email!

We ordered sticker 2 months ago until now it s not show up, staff s useless to give u straight answer, how slow to get delivered mail in Victoria

It was my first time purchasing a car and i really liked how the agent (Ankit) explained everything in detail with politness and cleared all of my complicated questions regarding the insurance of my new car. I would recommend everyone who have questions or queries regarding insuraces, they are a great help.

Really bad service! Thy guy spent a lot of time discussing politics and wasted time! He didn't want to take other customers in the queue and was extremely slow. It took him more than half an hour to register the vehicle. Ten minutes before 9 pm, he said that it's our closing time, can you come tomorrow and we will get you the right insurance. No need to rush! What the heck! Total waste of time, and not recommended.

Very disappointed in the apparent system that you use compound that with the fact I waited over 3 hours for a promised return phone call, cuz they were busy don't ya know. When I called requesting a quote a simple quote on your extended insurance I was on line approximately 25 min. It's a simple process punch the make, model and year of the vehicle with other pertinent info like age, safe driving discount etc and voila should populate with an est. Not so according to your agent a Dodge Caravan doesn't exist.seriously your system isn't populated with such a popular vehicle. Poor guy tried his best he clearly was fairly new but his saving grace is he did have the answers to my other questions. BTW most ppl when requesting a quote are not willing to give their VIN over the phone and it should not be needed! Not sure where I'll go but pretty sure not here as I told the girl when I first called that I needed the call back soon as I was needing to get a ride there. That did not happen my ride came and went with no call back.

I would totally recommend this place. Very friendly and helpful staff. They provided me with all kinds of information plus they gave me the best deal. Special thanks to Ayush thank you very much. You were very helpful.
