Sussex Insurance - Nanaimo

Excellent customer service. Recently purchased a truck in Port Alberni. However, the registration was incomplete from the dealer, making it impossible to insure. Tara, the Manager at Sussex Nanaimo, went above and beyond to help with this mess. With ‘special thanks’ to her, Sussex is our go to.

Lol they tried to force me to sign documents that were false! Told them the paperwork was wrong and they kept insisting I sign it anyways. Not impressed I'm not putting my name on a legal document that isn't accurate hahahaha give your head a shake!

Great service. Went in to get ownership of my car transfered and renewed my insurance. A gentleman named Vaibhav filled out all the paperwork and made the process so smooth. Really thankful for his help! Best place to get insurance!

Unprofessional, horrible, the worst customer service I have experienced in long time. Came in 15mins before they closed, doing a transfer owner ship. The lady at counter told me she doesn’t have enough time to finish because they close soon…… she told me ask the MANAGER! Ok, 2 mins later the lady with the tile MANAGER she said no they can not do it cause they only has 8mins to close… (behind the counter has 6 employees seat there waiting for close.) if Sussex Insrance do not care their business I guess this is the perfect way to start. Please remove the closing time 17: 00PM. This place need some better MANAGEMENT.

Great experience at Sussex. Vaibhav is knowledgeable and provided us with the right solution. As we are new in town, he went an extra mile to explain and educate us about Insurance. Highly recommend Sussex Insurance at Real Canadian Superstore.

Went last Friday almost closing.single mom with a busy toddler. I could only get one plate off my car and the lady asked a guy named Sheldon to help me. I showed him to my car and walked back the lady already processed my car insurance and had fresh plates ready for me to take. Not even 5 minutes Sheldon comes back with my plate. Best service ever.

The staff are very friendly and there always open later than pretty well all the other insurance offices.

Friendly, but I had to come back because the original person I saw messed up. Still very friendly people and I will continue to go there

They generously stayed open a bit late to accommodate myself and another client who arrived just before closing.

Horrible and rude. My original review that I posted was a lot more elaborate and it was removed. I will leave it at this.absolutely the worst experience in customer service for myself and my son. I'm disappointed that such a large corporation does not have more intergrity. Sad that with the deleting of reviews the rating is still only 3.5. I won't waste my time with this company for myself or my business.

Went there in the evening, pressed for time but took a chance. Service was fast and friendly. Was asked every usual question and a few extras that were explained to me. I was in and out in no time and the friendly service was appreciated. Thank you again Lana.

Quick easy really convenient. These people do alot of policies and were able to answer all questions and get me private policy as well. Highly recommend Sussex.

Came here to register our car and received excellent service from Karim. He seemed genuinely interested in saving us money while making sure we were properly insured. He was supposed to leave at a certain time, so another employee offered to take over but he cheerfully stayed with us to complete all the paperwork and left about half an hour late. Great service and we will be going back to him in the future:)

Definitely don't want to go there again. I wanted to ask questions and get an advice but they didn't even try to answer.

Came here to register and insure my first car in BC and the workers here made it a great experience! The tall, balder fellow is an absolute beauty and solved all my questions on the spot and got me set up in a jiffy. Definitely recommend this location for all your ICBC needs! Will certainly be back, thanks for the great service!

This is the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I will never waste time to try and purchase this product again. The staff member was slow, miserable, rude and incompetent. The line up was huge and there was only two staff working. No apology for keeping people waiting. Awful experience.
