I stopped by to cancel insurance and the guy didn’t even look at me or take his eyes off his screen…just told me “you need your plates”…and kept going with whatever was occupying his attention

They're always friendly and helpful. The only downside is they don't have enough staff most of the time (since before the pandemic too lol), so you can be stuck for up to an hour waiting and there's no waiting room, chairs, or the ability to make an appointment.

That's really tough to deal with as a person with disabilities or even if you just have a busy schedule as a caregiver and need to be able to time your appointments. Everything comes down to how much the person in front of you needs to do there so it's completely unpredictable.

Otherwise everything else is great!

I dont recommend calling their line for service the young man on the phone hardly spoke English and if he did I couldn't understand him. After several minutes I was able to make out that he was going to send an email to me to help me.it never came.

The franchisee of this store has made a policy to not register any vehicles that are coming from out of province. Doesn’t make enough money from them I suppose. Very annoying.

Had a very negative experience at his location. Staff seemed apathetic and not helpful. It wasn't even busy when I went.

Renewed my ICBC insurance through Sussex during the COVID-19 lockdown. As per the directions on their website, I completed a quick form online explaining I wanted to renew my insurance and received a phone call from Sussex in minutes. The customer service rep I worked with was friendly, knowledgeable and made the process of renewing over the phone very easy and stress-free.

I mean it's an insurance place. Apparantly Quebec has got I better but I suck at speaking English so why try French am I right. So ya I pay 400/month for insurance. #liability

Tarra in particular, goes above and beyond, to ensure you get exactly what you need and have an exceptional customer experience in the process. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

I had a collision and needed an estimate of the impact to my premium. Since the new changes to the ICBC premium has become so detailed, I couldn’t get it over the phone. I came to this location, and Tyson was took the time to go through the calculations for me to provide an estimate for me. Thank you for going out of the way and providing excellent customer service!

Like their convenient hours just don't like ICBC insurance rates.they don't even want to look at your drivers abstract just want to see if you have had any insurance claims.no wonder insurance rates are high in BC as clearly 30 years clean driving record means nothing

Took over 35 min to get a straight forward renewal. When I politely apologized to the restaurant that called wondering where I was to pick up my food, the insurance teller went even slower out of spite for me explaining my tardiness to the restaurant. If you're looking for quick better service go to Westland or anywhere else.

Terrible customer service and refusal to own up to their own mistake. My husband and I came in to get day insurance for a vehicle we were selling and the insurance guy forgot to put our proof of registration into the new envelope he gave us. We even turned back as he was holding our old insurance papers and asked “Do we need any of that? ” And he replied no and kept our papers in his hand and we left.

Few days later when we sold the vehicle and needed the registration paper to do so we noticed that it was missing from the Sussex envelope he had given us. The envelope had not been moved from the empty, detailed car/glove box of the vehicle we were selling prior and we are 100% sure it was their mistake or I wouldn’t be writing this review and certainly wouldn’t have made a stink at all about having to pay $20 for a replacement paper.

Conclusion, they refused to own up to their mistake and made US pay to have another registration paper printed. Ridiculous. Get it together and give the customer the benefit of the doubt if anything, workers do sometimes make mistakes and paying customers should not have to suffer for it. We live very close by and have always used this place for all 3 of our vehicles year after year and will never be using them again.
