If you are in Vernon I strongly recommend doing your insurance here. I came in with a mess of paperwork and they sorted me out way quicker than I was expecting. Very pleasant to deal with too.

Sunday we went to renew our car insurance, it’s nice that they’re open Sunday, but nobody taught this guy how to be polite. I did not get the name of the gentleman who was helping us, and while he did his job, he showed me quite a bit of disrespect. We asked him to remove me as a driver, as I cannot and will not be driving anymore. He continuously tried to convince me to remain on the insurance, and not let my license expire. He was asking invasive questions about why I won’t be driving and was being very pushy. It made me really uncomfortable. To top things off, we’ve now paid for our August insurance twice because he charged us, and the payment also claim out automatically the next day. Thanks a lot Sussex.

Called in to see what I needed to cancel insurance with no plate; it was lost. On the phone they said I needed nothing.
When I got in they said I couldn't cancel without a plate or a police report.
I went across the street and cancelled the insurance because THERE IS NO PLACE IN THE SYSTEM TO WRITE A POLICE FILE NUMBER TO CANCEL INSURANCE.
Unprofessional and rude. I'll never go back.

I went in to get some ORV (Off Road Vehicle) plates for my dirt bike and the staff tried to force me to buy insurance that is optional on ICBC's website. The person cited her boss and but could not produce any documentation saying the insurance was mandatory.

Then they told me the vehicle type of my motorbike needed to be changed to get ORV plates, again nothing about this on ICBS's website. The bike is a street legal dirt bike and it had ORV plates last year.

I phoned ICBC today and confirmed the insurance they were telling me was required is NOT and that my vehicle type did not need to be changed.

Staff went the extra mile (km?) for ICBC information regarding motorhome qualifications. Service was quick and friendly as well.

My wife went to get insurance on her car and the clerk entered a higher amount and charged my wife more taxes than was required. My wife called them when she was home and the clerk admitted they messed up and told her she had to come down and sign a piece of paper to get the money back. My wife went down and now they are refusing to return the money and giving her the run around. At this point its theft.

My husband Paul had the BEST EXPERIENCE here. Tammy Zaretski went out of her way to ensure my husband had the needed paperwork when he was in a time crunch. Thank you SO much Tammy for this! You went above and beyond and we look forward to dealing with you again!

Extremely knowledgeable people here who are very helpful, there is a young man named Jake who had just graduated and is quite an amazing with his knowledge, great place.

Never returning to this agency again! Period, end of story! On 13 Feb 2020, I asked Sussex agent to call ICBC on a specific phone # (which was given to me by ICBC) to discuss a VIN issue with my registration and they refused to do so. I then called the ICBC # on my cell and handed phone to the Sussex agent who then refused to listen to the instructions from ICBC. I went 250m down the road to Westland Insurance and asked the exact same question in the exact same manner. After calling the ICBC # given to her and a discussion with the ICBC person at that #, the Westland agent issued the updated paperwork and I was a satisfied customer. Good bye Sussex forever.

Such a poor experience. We just moved from BC to Alberta and sold our BC vehicle. We were back on BC for the weekend and needed to get our insurance cancelled. Dalia Luca (the owner) refused to help us, because my dad had turned the plates in separately and she couldn't call ICBC on a Sunday. She said we would have to pay an $18 fee which we agreed to. She then changed her story and said she would need to have a police report for stolen plates. We explained that if we were not able to do the task that day, we would need to drive back from Alberta to do it. She still refused. We went to a place across the street and had it done in 5 minutes.

I had a very pleasant and welcoming transaction obtaining some vehicle insurance at this location. Dalia was very thorough and open, and even pointed out a few options to reduce costs. I will return in the future.

I was quoted a reasonable price for auto insurance. When it came time to pay the rate jumped an extra $200. I cancelled the transaction and went somewhere else. Very nice rep to deal with but unfortunate they cant deliver on their quotes price.

I recently had an issue with icbc and Dalia went above and beyond to help me out, wonderful to deal with excellent experience would recommend to anyone!
