We were out to the Christmas market today. Very festival and great vendors.

The staff here is so helpful! I had an issue with an online order and was almost over-helped. And, their maker market at Christmas was not only lively, but they’ve built huts for the makers…no one does that. Support this place! Try the “Gone Crackers” for your next Charceuterie!

Open all year long although not a ton of fresh veggies in the winter. Very nice store, lots of food items, meats and cheeses, pastries, bread, plants, decorative house items, probably something for everyone. A great place to spend time browsing the areas.

Always so many interesting items for the garden and the cashiers are always amazing and ready to wrap anything with a smile! Will be back as soon as I'm in need for another gift!

I was at Swan Lake on Sunday morning. What an absolutely wonderful experience! I shopped with a free coffee (latte even, not just regular coffee) and stopped to enjoy the music coming from the piano in the sun room. I can't wait to plan a morning coffee/pastry visit there with some girlfriends! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Great selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, lots of plants/trees/flowers for sale and all the gardening supplies you could need. They have a nice deli here that offers various deli meats, baked goods, and ice cream. They have a small grocery section for dry goods and canned food, so if you live out this way it could be an option for a grocery trip to save a drive into town.

Amazing place to grab some lunch with your family.the prices are great, the food is fresh and delicious.they support local artists and make a difference in the community.you have to check out this place.if you are a tourist coming through town on a long drive, this is a perfect pit stop!

Love this market. Staff is super helpful and friendly and always great selection of produce. The vitamin section is incredible and staff is so helpful to get in products if they don't have it!

Huge selection of locally sourced fruit and vegetables. Souvenirs, Garden supplies, groceries, deli foods. As well as a large nursery. One year later and i still love this place and the staff.we arrived too early but they let us shop and even gave us a big pumpkin because we were so complimentary. Definitely recommend Swan lake.

Expensive! They do have a good assortment of everything. It’s cleaned up since the new owners, no deals but quality fruits and vegetables.

We always stop here and find great food, plants and other interesting items. We love the fountain we bought years ago.

The new owner has put a lot of work into the business. The layout is wonderful. So many different areas to browse through.
The employees are always friendly and very helpful.
The produce is local when in season and reasonably priced.
The garden section is beautiful and large, but a bit pricey compared to some other garden businesses.
The pre-made section has delicious and convenient food, but it is too expensive for my wallet. Great health food for impulse buying.

I went there today with my mother to get some hard ics cream. When there I was told by lady at deli that they're short staffed and couldn't get any. Thus after I called 40 minutes earlier asking I could get ice cream there and was told yes I could. I was on the way out the door went I ran into a nice lady that worked there named Stephany. Told her how I couldn't get ice cream and she went out of her way to open up the ice cream area after it was kinda shut down for the day and she personally made my mother and myself really great ice cream cones. She should be the top manager of that store because she honestly cares about us customers. Well done Stephany you made my day. Thank you so much. I bought some yummy fruit too.

Produce is fresh and customer service is excellent! Those who used to visit will notice that the building is all white. More visible from a distance but I preferred the previous look. Signage needs to be up high.

The shop is lovely and years ago was more competitive with prices but now are more than you pay in the grocery store. Buying local is becoming unaffordable.

Has been redone nicely. Prices are somewhat more expensive than they use to be but I still enjoy the drive out there. Different and unique things

Plants and things are very pricey. Enjoyed walking around looking at everything. Veggies are nice and fresh, as well as fruits and the baked goods are fresh and tasty.

A very rude cashier today. Older lady who didn't have the time of day to say anything nice, and basically ignored my wife and me through the whole transaction. Why are people like that in retail?

Great assortment of fresh produce as well as prepared food to go. Bakery / deli ready with your snacks, coffee, soup and delicious pies. Sit down area overlooks Swan Lake. (in distance) Most prices are comparable to larger grocery stores while some specialty items show higher cost. Pleasant, well lit atmosphere.

Cute little market. You can get your canning fruits and vegetables here. There is plenty of gardening supplies as well. There is grab and go items on site. They also have delicious ice creams for sale. There is a mini grocery section. You can get all your fruit and veggies for cooking here. The bread is good but cut a little thin. They have D Dutchman Dairy products available. You can also buy condiments but they are very expensive. $5 for a small jar of jam.
I love places like this. Never know what trinket or unique item you will find. It's like going on an adventure. Gave 4 stars only because it's very cramped and crowded and the staff is less than attentive at the meat counter. They were more into talking amongst themselves than helping the people at their counter waiting for them. Finally had to wave both hands in the air and speak very loudly to get some chicken breasts. $24 for 5 breasts.

Very helpful people, especially Judy, she has gone above and beyond to help us out and order in the proper junipers we needed!
Great long time local business

Went to do a quick shop for produce and was very impressed by the selection and quality! Less impressed by the cashier who was quite rude to me, pointing out where the tap was on the pos machine. I have one eye under a patch and wasn't able to see it on the BACK of the machine. Then, after packing my own $52 of groceries into my bag, she instructed me to leave the basket where it was. When I told her that I needed to get my heavy bag out to the car, she said loudly "well THAT doesn't go outside! " I suggested she must be an employee of the previous owners because she was very rude, and took my groceries, in the forbidden basket, to my car (and returned it to the front door).
Brought back memories of shopping at this market prior to the reno, and how many times we left, disappointed by how we were treated by the staff.
We hoped for better with new management and a shiny new market, but some of the old attitude seems to have stayed. Definitely not seeing the "friendly" advertised in your flyer.

The new owners have updated the inside layout. Very nice. The new checkout stations are great too!

This is a great place to take the family and get the garden ready for the year. The selection is large and the staff is great… I find that the prices are fair and things are easily laid out so you can take a cart around and fill it up. I like how the soil is stacked up by the vehicles so you can pay for it inside and then easily transported into the back of your car or truck.

The lady that my husband asked if u have bean plants.and said.you start those by seed. (snotty.). Obviously hasnt been to the armstrong nursery.yes most do start by seed.but when u live in an area that has less growing season.u need the plant.thinking maybe it wouldnt have bothered me so much if she had a better attitude.oh well.the citronella i bought is nice tho.got my bean plants and all bedding plants from Armstrong awesome service and when asked for bean plants.well guess what! They had them.hmmmm.

I have always liked this place from the time they were just a seasonal operation to a year around operation. It is under new owners. I am curious to see the new upgrades.

I have been buying my plants, fruits and vegggies at the Swan lake Nurseryland Garden Center for 30 years and never once have had a bad experience. The staff have always be helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Their produce fresh and fairly priced. I have never lost a plant or found any to be unhealthy or buggy. Their local fall fruit is very inexpensive. I wish them many more yrs.of excellent service.

The best old fashioned place in town to get good deals on strawberries and fruits and vegetables I said strawberries shrubberies and trees

Fruit and veggies were pricey and I found the staff to be rude. Won’t be stopping there ever again.

Good selection of quality plants with some interesting finds & unusual species thrown in the mix. I have my list for Spring 2021 ready.

A bit pricey for some things, like canning supplies. Great prices on seasonal fruit, for example apples, but got a better price at Davidson's for watermelon in August 2020.

Very nice. Wide variety of local fruit and vegetables. Lots of plants, Flower shop and clothing. Nice deli. Excellent ice cream.

It looks like Such a beautiful place. Great selection of products. However I was very disappointed to open my bag of pickling cukes to find them slimy with skin coming off. A total waste of money. Make sure you open to look at products. They should not be selling them in that condition I’m sure the shoppers in Vernon would be returning. They were not cheap.

Usually Swan Lake is excellent but because of the Covud19 crisis Swan Lake does not have all the fruit it usually Carrie's. Social distancing is difficult but possible. Otherwise I enjoy shopping at Swan Lake Nursery.

Unimpressed with the greediness of this place. Items with price tags from another store at $1.99 resold in this store for $5.99. Everything is so expensive and over priced and No selection. Walmart is 5 min away for 1/4 of the price I can’t understand how they can justify charging double for everything, especially during a pandemic.

This is a beautiful store. My only complaint is the staff members who are too concerned with their personal space than the customer experience. I understand covid has thrown a wrench in all of our 2020 plans, but please smile, have patience and be kind ladies.

I was so so upset I called to tell them the plants I bought 2 days ago have wilted very badly so I brought them in was told to wait so the person could see what can be done waited 1/2 an hour and he came back and told me no one was available to help me, so I had to go back home and he said that I will be called tomorrow with an answer all I wanted was to pick something else I did not want my money back. I am in retail to and NEVER would I treat a costumer like that April 14 well I am going to eat crow I got a phone today from Bridget she was GREAT she understood and she was really lovely and said to come in and we will do an exchange I thankyou so so so much <3

Im disappointed that they advertised on web site certain flowers and dont carry them i was so looking forward to planting These specific flowers because they were only one that carried them my whole garden was based around these ️mabey future dont advertise that u have stuff that u dont

A fine place until you go to pay for your purchases and the cashier is the most miserable person ever. No smile, no welcome, no thank you.just "do you want a bag? " Makes this the last place I'll go in future.

Fantastic friendly and knowledgeable staff combined with top quality products and produce (local of course) make this place always AWESOME! Most recently I was shopping for Christmas and purchased indoor herb garden supplies. Brent was incredibly helpful and so was the woman who gave me lots of free advise. Obviously there is lots available to purchase online however; heaven knows what quality it will be or shape it will show up in. Shopping local with community focussed shops like Swan Lake Nurseryland is healthy and good for everyone involved. Another fun and insightful experience for sure.

Always the best fruit and local vegetables. The ladies in the bakery are awesome. There is always something baking that makes the place smell awesome! If your passing by and need a lunch its the place to stop.

Swan lake nursery land tops my list of things to see in Vernon even if you’re not in the market to purchase any garden plants, they have a ton of vases, planters, pond building items and bird feeders. They have a ton going inside the market with their freshly made sandwiches, baked goods, and ice cream Swan Lake Nursery is an ideal place for a pit stop if you’re driving through Vernon. They have a large area of fresh local and imported fruits and veggies as well as a small area of canned foods. Perfect one-stop-shop for a take home meal. They also have a cute selection of clothing items in the back, where I bought the simple yet cute palm frawn pattered dress, perfect for those hot summer evenings. They also had a lot of fun accessories like purses to complete the look.

I love it there. But the ladies behind the bakery counter could smile or at least be friendly. After i ate my delish ice cream and pastry after feeling i was a bother when I ordered it. I looked at clothing and listened to them argue about something that should not (other lady didnt agree) be left on the counter. Maybe thats why they arnt happy? Maybe they cant work together? Otherwise. I.love it there! P. S.i did buy a top.

If a plant will grow in the Okanagan you will find it here. Lots of advice from knowledgable staff and that's just outside the building. Inside is a whole other story. Everything from groceries to beautiful spring and summer wear. Pottery and a coffee shop. Did I mention that this is a great place to just wander around and get ideas for your own garden? Truly a favorite.

Lots of plants, trees and shrubs in the garden area but they are not all together so it's a bit tricky finding everything you need. Staff was helpful and had great advice.

We love taking the grand kids here to see the christmas decorations. Big hello to the fella giving out candy canes. Sure put a smile on the little ones faces. Lunch was great too!
