We were very lucky to have Stephanie and her team be there for our wedding celebration as month of coordinator. Stephanie was also our officiant. Initially we were going to DIY the whole wedding planning but thankfully decided against this. We and our guests were able to fully enjoy the day not having to worry about things and things went smoothly and were set up beautifully. Stephanie also pointed out things we had not thought of that we needed to do. We all loved Stephanie’s officiant ceremony and it felt very intimate and sweet. Would highly recommend Sweetheart Events!

Stephanie was incredible from the beginning of the process to the end of our ceremony. She is warm, authentic, and a true professional. We had several guests tell us she was the best officiant they had ever seen and loved hearing the approach she took to creating our ceremony with us. Looking forward to our vow renewal in years to come so we can do it all over again!

Stephanie officiated our wedding and made it exactly what we were looking for. She tailored the ceremony to include personal notes from our story and from thoughts of our loved ones which made it so special and clearly walked through it with us all ahead of time so it was structured exactly how we wanted it while also leaving some parts a surprise so we were so present on the day. We trusted Stephanie to lead the part of our wedding that we considered the most important and what we were most excited for and she completely delivered. Thank you again so much Stephanie!

Where do we start…probably with a thank you!

Thank you to Stephanie, Samantha, and the entire Sweetheart team. You were incredible in every single way and without you there is NO doubt in our mind that our wedding day would have been nowhere near as seamless and perfect.

The entire Sweetheart team that worked with us were extremely organized, helped us feel at ease the entire day (and leading up to it) and we cannot recommend them enough for your wedding planning and day-of needs. In particular, Samantha, thank you for taking us down the final stretch to the altar! You were so kind and compassionate and not once did we ever feel even the remotest sense of stress or panic. You absolutely crushed it and we're so grateful - thank you!

Finally, this review would be remiss without a shout out to Stephanie, whose facilitation of our wedding ceremony is…honestly hard to justify in words. It really was just so perfect in every way. Fun, lively, comfortable and passionate…she nailed it and was an absolute highlight for both us and our guests. Stephanie, thank you.

Don't second guess it - Sweetheart Events is THE best!

I first met Stephanie for an intro call, and was immediately amazed by her attention to detail and care EVEN before I became a client! She had our venue in her zoom background and even looked up the sunset time on that day (which was wayyy in advance) She was super organized with all the followup and details after as well

Working with Beth has been the best thing ever! She’s so sweet and fun to work with! We would meet at coffee bars and it was really a fun experience. Every meeting with her made me feel more relaxed and reassured after I am so glad she was there to help out the month of and we didn’t have to worry about any vendor coordination with everything else that was going on.

She made sure everyone arrived at the right time with all the information they need, and we could just focus our efforts on some personal details we wanted for our guest (handwriting letters to all of them). On the day of, she went above and beyond and even brought her film camera to help us capture memories and also helped me fish out a bee that was caught in my wedding dress She checked in several times with us throughout the day and made sure everyone was supported!

The other vendors even mentioned that I looked so relaxed as a bride. That was possible because I knew Beth had everything under control:) We had an amazing wedding day and was able to have a lot of fun! I’d highly recommend if you’re considering a wedding coordinator

I'm so happy to have hired Shawna at Sweetheart Events as my wedding coordinator! She helped me plan the design of the wedding and sourced the vendors relating to this. She also provided day-of coordination. I had a vision for our wedding, but was overwhelmed with exactly how to put it all together. Shawna was able to see my vision and executed it even better than how I envisioned it. Although her responsibilities were to a portion of wedding planning, she was happy to help in every aspect of planning and was there every step of the way, only being a text, call or email away.

Because of her meticulous planning, and years of experience, everything on our wedding day went smoothly and seamlessly. Shawna had Stephanie's and Beth's assistance on the day. I had no stress because I knew that Shawna, Stephanie and Beth would handle it all. They went above and beyond to cater to all the needs of mine and my husband.

Our day was made that much more special because of the care and professionalism provided by Shawna and the team at Sweetheart Events. I would recommend them 100 times over for any and all wedding planning needs! Thank you Shawna!

We were recommended Sweetheart Events by a few different couples who got married. We started with an initial meeting with the owner, Stephanie, and we were pretty much sold after she explained what their wedding planners would handle. We have zero experience in planning a wedding and we also have busy lives and full time jobs. We wanted somebody to help guide us every step of the way, keep track of all the logistics, and to take care of everything on the wedding day. And this is exactly what SHE and their planners could provide.

There’s no way our wedding would have gone so smoothly were it not for our amazing planner, Kay. From the moment of our first meeting, her enthusiasm struck a chord with us. And every subsequent meeting really helped ease our anxieties related to the wedding. We consider ourselves very lucky to have started working with SHE and Kay specifically for almost a full year before our wedding. And if you are considering whether or not you need a planner that early, let me just say - you do. Save yourself the months of anxiety and just hire yourself a professional. Kay was worth every cent and then some. She had the planning and organizing down to a science. Her years of experience guided us throughout the entire planning process.

When we first started our planning, we were emailing all the prospective vendors ourselves. Some would reply days later, if at all. And that can make all the difference when you’re trying to lock down a venue during the very busy wedding season. I wished we had thought about hiring a planner from the very beginning. With Kay’s contacts in the industry, vendors would get back to her promptly. And speaking of vendors, Kay provided us with a list of vendors’ contacts that SHE has worked with before. It made a huge difference when sourcing items and people for the wedding. The list contained various vendors from decor, florals, furniture rentals, DJs, photobooths, clothing rentals, limos, and more.

In addition to wedding planning, Kay has an extra bonus of also being an excellent stationary designer. She helped us with everything stationary-related. It was super convenient and saved us from having to find another vendor to take care of all the invites, menus, guest lists, etc.

Kay also helped us with our wedding rehearsal. Our officiant couldn’t make it but Kay was more than capable in guiding us through what will and should happen on the actual day.

On our wedding day, Kay and her assistants took care of everything so we could just focus on ourselves and our guests. They oversaw the vendors setting up the chairs, florals, music, and decor at the ceremony venue and everything was perfect when we arrived. And once the ceremony was over, they also oversaw the take-down as well. Same story for the reception venue, everything looked great and our guests were very happy with it. We didn’t have to lift a single finger and just got to enjoy the night. Kay created a very extensive schedule for the whole day and we were pretty much on track the entire day. My wife and I had such a great and memorable day that simply would not have been possible without Kay. We would recommend SHE and especially Kay to any of our friends or family who are planning a wedding.

Laura was our Finishing Touch coordinator for our wedding and she was FANTASTIC and exceeded our expectations in every way. When we first starting planning our wedding we thought we could pull it off ourselves - but with two very busy schedules and living across the continent we quickly realized how far in over heads we were (and how little we knew about wedding planning) as the day rapidly came closer.

Enter Laura, who kept us accountable on all our deadlines and had a wealth of wedding planning knowledge that just made our lives so much easier. She sourced last minute wedding vendor recommendations, coordinated with the venue & all vendors on details big and small (that we would’ve never begun to think about), and in the days leading up to the event, arranged pick up & drop off of all the decor that would need to be at the venue the morning of the wedding. Throughout the entire process she was so responsive to all our emails and wonderfully patient with all our many, many questions during the process.

We only had a rough vision of our wedding and Laura filled in all the blanks for us and went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Even my friends commented on how seamlessly the entire event went off and how Laura radiated the calm, cool energy that indicated she knew EXACTLY what was doing all the time. When my veil wouldn’t stay in my hair at the eleventh hour she even whipped out extra bobby pins from her emergency kit!

Truly, we can’t thank Laura, Stephanie & the Sweetheart team enough. We would 100% recommend hiring them to plan (and coordinate) any event for us in the future.

Had a initial budgeting call with Stephanie. The amount of knowledge she shared in 90 minutes was priceless. I highly recommend a budgeting call to set expectations and generate some ideas. There are so many things that you cannot glean from vendor sites that Stephanie shared. Grateful for her industry knowledge and resources shared.

Stephanie was our wedding planner and we can't recommend her enough. She helped us find a perfect venue very quickly, planned all decor including flowers and set up, met with our venue to help create our menu, printed and set up all of our menus and signs etc, and provided fantastic day of coordination with her team in addition to countless other details. The fee for her service was more than worth it - Stephanie saved us both lots of time and stress and her attention to detail and vast general wedding expertise made our wedding day beautiful and enjoyable. She suggested vendors that matched our budget and overall vision. Stephanie was also our officiant which was perfect - she created a very personal and lovely ceremony. When high expectations meet reality.and more! We worked with Kay as our 2-month-takeover planner and wouldn't change a thing. The moment I saw our vision materialize exactly how we dreamed it up, there were happy tears. Kay was a dream to work with. She helped us live - and actually enjoy - the happiest day of our lives.

Aaron and I are so incredibly grateful to Sweetheart Events for planning our wedding on June 3,2023. Since the very first email inquiry, Stephanie and her team were responsive, helpful, realistic, and so fun! Her team had such great energy and kept us updated and engaged throughout the whole process. Shawna was our planner and she was IN-CREDIBLE! She was so professional and always asked the right questions to ensure we articulated what we envisioned for our wedding (which is not easy to do!). What do we say about Stephanie? Other than pure perfection. She is amazing. Handled every detail with grace and acceptance even if our methods were not the usual.
We had guests raving about her. She went above and beyond. This lady deserves all the praise in the world as she is a magician. She is the wedding guru. I felt so relaxed and so did my guests and family. If you’re wondering if you should hire her do it. You will not regret it.

Kay at Sweetheart Events is a treasure. She was the biggest reason our wedding vision was able to come alive, and without her nothing would have gone as perfectly as it did. By all means she has worked with both my wife and I and our struggle with time management and planning and was still able to pull the wedding of the century.
