Swift Security Systems

We’ve used Swift now twice to upgrade security cameras on the house. We have found them to have excellent customer service and are extremely patient navigating our questions even though our projects are very small. Although we’ve been encouraged by many people to do it all ourselves we appreciate being able to call on the experts to explain all the details for us.

I have worked with Nathan and Philip on several occasions to date. Each experience has been a positive one. They really care about what they do and perform it well. I would encourage anyone to use them for security installation work.

Fast professional and knowledgeable service. They helped us upgrade our Stratas CCTV system. From booking to job completion in under 5 days! Even had to deal with a wasps nest or two and they handled it well.

Our company has been using Swift Security for the past one year. We had a security camera system installed by another company that is no longer in business and I was referred to Swift Security by another business owner. They were able to fix an issue with the current system and install some new cameras and reconfigure everything so that we could view the cameras seamlessly. I think the key reason that I am really happy with their service is that they pride themselves on their after care customer service. Issues are always possible with anything tech related (Anyone have a perfectly connected printer to this day without issues!? !) so when it happens they immediately respond and will send someone out to solve the problem. Pretty stellar when you call these huge companies that spend hours giving you the run around!

We hired Swift Security to install a security system, and a locking door system at a project in Vancouver. Swift made several errors in wiring the project, and made several holes after the rough in stage was completed because they did not run the wiring correctly during the rough in stage. We had to hire a drywaller after the fact to patch all the additional holes they made.

In addition, they billed us for security cameras that we not agreed upon in our contract. They were only to install the security system and a locking door system.
We went to our customer to ask for approval for the camera installation after Swift had installed the cameras and the customer did not approve the additional cost.

Working with Swift has been a complete nightmare. This company is very unprofessional, going to our customer asking for payment, and made many errors during the project with wiring along with incorrect billing, and now they expect us to cover the bill.

We already agreed to pay you the final payment toward the agreed upon contract for the security and key fob system, but Philip did not agree to being paid for the final contract invoice, until the additional misinstalled camera invoice was paid too!

Cut your losses and move on!

Nathan and Phil at Swift answered all my questions and gave me a very competitive quote. They installed our alarm system and camers quickly and efficiently while hiding the wires, making the finished product look amazing. Very happy with them and their customer service. We even had them install cameras at our Cabin.

Phil performed the initial site visit and listened to my requirements and offered helpful advice. He then provided a couple of estimates at different price points which was extremely helpful.

Once I agreed to the work and paid 50% deposit (not unreasonable) the and the team installed a gate intercom and camera, plus four additional security cameras including one PTZ camera that are for general security of my property. They needed to visit several times due to the amount of work needed and were always very prompt, friendly, approachable and accommodating when I wanted cameras relocated for better visibility. I'm probably going to add and / or upgrade some cameras in the future and they will definitely get my repeat business.

Swift security had installed a Honeywell security system and a Skybell door bell in my townhouse. On my 3-year contract, my contact details and my living address were completely wrong. I have tried a few times to contact the administrator, Genessa and the sale rep, Nathan, but nobody call me back to rectify the contact details and legal address in case of emergency. There were NO AFTER SALE SERVICE whatsoever. I am totally disappointed with Swift security system. If I can give ZERO star, I will. Please take my advise and stay away from this business.
