I was really hoping this would be a nice little bakery, but their baked goods are just not very good. I bought a cinnamon bun and a croissant and was extremely disappointed by both.

The croissant was more of a bun than it was a pastry. Zero flakiness, kind of crumby, no discernable layers. I suspect they didn't use much butter and they didn't laminate their dough. Truly a terrible croissant and I don't think they can actually call it one. The one thing it had going for it was the dough was the right level of saltiness.

The cinnamon bun was equally bad. It was very light in terms of cinnamon flavor, basically raw in the middle, and had no chew or gluten development. The bun didn't "pull apart" at all, more so just broke apart because of the crumbiness.

I really wanted to like this place because of the proximity to where I live, but I don't think I'll be going back.

This place is one of my favorites! They have delicious and remarkable baguettes! Other bread shops had them as well but for me the baguettes at this place were incomparable. It was my favorite. It was so crispy, fresh and delicious. Their sandwich tasted great too!

Literally the best baked goods in town! I especially love their frissants and creme brulee croissants - Swiss Bakery never disappoints:)

Also love that they have a cup-sharing option for when you forget your reusable mug!

Baked goods are quite alright, but the vibes are completely off in this place. Feels like the workers are being held hostage

I love croissants and I heard that this was one of the best places in the city to get them. I ordered two regular butter croissants on a Wednesday morning around 11: 30am. While visually they looked nice, from the moment I was just carrying the bag, I had a hunch just from the feeling of them in there that they might not be the freshest. Honestly, these croissants were so stale they were clearly day olds, the same what you would get from any random cafe. I might as well have even gone to Safeway's bakery section. There's no way they could have been baked that same morning, since I was only there a few hours after they opened. It wasn't written anywhere that these were day olds. I even tried toasting one at home and eating it with butter but it was still so stale and totally unsatisfying. You should not even need to add butter to a croissant to make it taste good, they are already essentially made out of butter! A waste of time, money, and my daily calorie intake. Save yourself the trouble and go to Batard on Fraser instead.

P. S. This is the first time I've ever written a review for anything, that's how disappointed I was.

The baby frissant tasted like a regular crispy croissant, I don’t think it was impressive given the price.

The kids have taken over and redesigned the place. They have always had great baked goods but now it's a beautiful place to hang out too!

One of the best places for pastries, sandwiches, wraps, and other baked goods. Ask for the sandwiches to be toasted and they are come out hot and crispy from the panini grill. Home if the cronut - a cross between a croissant and a deep fried donut. Also serves coffees. Outdoor seating is available and staff are friendly.

Love and hate this place. You have to go early or else they get sold out quick! But their stuff is amazing
