All of my three kids were helped to improve their grades through sylvan. Really happy with the experience

My daughter has been attending Sylvan for math for a month, and we have already seen significant improvements in her math skills. She likes going to class, she likes all of the teachers she has worked with, and she is genuinely happy when she leaves at the end, especially when she earns enough tokens to get a prize. I would definitely recommend Sylvan to anyone needing additional learning support.

My kids have been going on and off for years for supplementary education, and the team is always accommodating, helpful and we see results!

Our son has been attending Sylvan for one year now for reading. His reading, comprehension & writing skills have improved drastically since he started with Sylvan. The teachers are patient & keep the children engaged during their lesson. The centre staff (Melanie & Bob) are responsive, flexible & understanding and are always there to help. Highly recommend Sylvan, not just for when and if your child needs the help, but also to build the solid foundation of learning & good study habits early on in their life, that will grow with them as they go on in their academic journey.

My daughter started 5 months ago in the Math Edge program. We thought she didn't understand math at school. It turned out she just needed time and encouragement to build her confidence. She loves math and is doing well in class at school. Thank you Sylvan.

I have two daughters learning in SYLVAN. It is a really good place to let you children improve. My daughter learning about reading. She likes to learn in SYLVAN and she likes their teachers so much!

My granddaughter has been attending Sylvan for 3 months as she was having issues with Spelling and reading. She is in grade 6 but her level was around grade 4. Well I am so pleased to say that her spelling has improved to the point where she has been scoring 20/20 on every test and her reading has come so far. I Cannot say enough about the staff they have, everyone is so committed to the kids and therefore my granddaughter is actually excited to go for her lessons after a long day at school. If I call to speak with Melanie or Rob they are always happy to help and explain anything that I might have a question about. 5 stars to everyone at Sylvan Learning in White Rock.

It is a good place for kids to learn academic reading. My kid like his time of studying there. He has made steady progress there.

My son just joined here about 1 month ago. He loves here.teachers here are professional and kind.the materials and lessens are good.it's really a good place to let child learn English like natives.

I have two children that have been going to Sylvan for a while now. My 11 year daughter completed an excellent writing program and her writing has greatly improved. She is often praised by her teachers at school. Her confidence and love for writing has dramatically grown, which I believe is because of how she was challenged as well as encouraged through out the program. So much so that she dreams to one day write a book. Melanie and Bob have been excellent in communicating our children's progress and ways for them to continue to be challenged. I often recommend new friends to give Sylvan a try even if their children are doing well in school.

Our 6 year old son was having trouble in reading. English was a second language in our family. After one semester of going to Sylvan, we have seen a huge improvement. His school teacher also noticed his read and writing skills had become much better compare to the beginning of the year.
He is also very excited to go to Sylvan twice a week to earn tokens and exchange for a toy.

I have had an excellent experience with Sylvan this past year with two of my daughters having received tutoring for English language arts.
My daughter in grade 12 received exceptional tutoring from Darlene after encountering difficulties with writing assignments in English 12. With the English 12 exam being worth 40% of her grade we knew she should start preparing for this as well as getting the extra help required to fine tune her writing style.

We began Sylvan early November with her mark at a low B and ended with a 95 in the exam and a high A final. My daughter worked diligently as did the tutor Darlene who understood how to assist her! The management (Melanie and Rob) were also very accommodating and flexible!

My second daughter who is currently in grade 7 is receiving enrichment to ensure her English skills are strong as we are in a French Immersion program. She is enjoying the tutoring and is now achieving above grade level English skills! I’d recommend Sylvan to any parent who is concerned about their child’s education!
