I received service above and beyond, that’s why I suggest that you should come here! The manager Andrew was very helpful! I have a kayak and wanted a new seat with more support. All they had was a seat for a paddle board. Andrew looked at the kayak and gave a suggestion and adjusted the seat to work in my kayak. Thank you again! The service and seat are awesome!
Great ski/board shop! Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a good selection of equipment and clothing. Good prices for equipment rentals and convenient pick up/drop off times. Would definitely recommend!
Fantastic store! They have incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Special thanks to Haley and Andrew who helped me today with a binding adjustment when I was running short on time to get up to Panorama for a ski lesson. This is one of many great experiences I have had in this store.
Misunderstanding with the pickup time for express waxing and sharpening. Syndicate shop was able to reduce the cost to the non express sharpening and waxing which was very nice and accommodating.
Great shop with many different outdoor items available. Was able to go in and get a new inflatable SUP the other day. It was an easy shopping experience. The staff was helpful in making our selection.
Went there looking to rent a paddleboard. They totally helped guide us in the right direction and in the process didn't get any business from us. Awesome customer service as they were so helpful in setting us up! Would come get a paddle board here if I was renting for a whole day! Thanks guys!

My partner and I rented a paddle board 3 times and were considering buying one each from this place at some point. This was until the last time we rented; a Syndicate employee attached the paddle board to my roof rack (I want to be very clear - they did this every time we rented and I am grateful for this!) but this time it came off on the highway, tearing my roof rack off with it. Because of this, we extended the rental for an extra day - it messed with the timing as we had to spend time trying (but failing!) to repair the roof rack and then, as a result, re attaching the paddle board securely to the roof rails. When we returned the paddle board the next day, I didn’t go into the shop myself, but my partner did and tried to resolve this issue and get a fair outcome i.e. Either waive the rental cost for the extra day OR at least receive an apology (I would consider this bare minimum, basic human decency). My partner spoke with a Syndicate employee, who we had never dealt with before, whose attitude was completely dismissive and they just pointed to the disclaimer, which states that the customer is responsible for ensuring the load is attached securely, and pushed the card machine towards my partner to pay. The fact that the customer is supposedly responsible raises the question as to why the employees so enthusiastically attach the paddle boards, without me even asking them to do so this particular time (by the time I’d come out of the shop having paid and signed the paperwork, the paddle board was attached to my roof rack!) For example, other places outright refuse to attach anything to your roof rack because it makes THEM liable. It’s a sad situation considering this could have caused a serious accident (by the grace of higher powers it didn’t!) and I now have to repair my roof rack at a cost to myself, but Syndicate had their paddle board returned with no damage and still got their money and we received no acknowledgment/apology (which, as I previously said I consider as bare minimum, basic human decency)! The 2 guys we usually dealt with seem like good people, and were always helpful and courteous. That’s what the 2 stars are for. It’s just a shame that there was no accountability for one of their mistakes; because of this situation we will not spend another cent of our hard earned money at Syndicate.
The boys know the deal. Whatever you think you know about what your buying, it's good to keep in mind that they know 1000% more about the product. Just ask. They are a wealth of knowledge
Awesome boardshop, the employees were chill and knew their stuff, and they said I sounded like I work at a board shop even though I don't but I'm a sucker for compliments so I'd give six stars if I could.
Just one of those stores that you love. Great vibe, locally owned, and knowledgeable staff. You can buy swim shorts in winter, and a snowboard in summer. A valuable resource to have in a smaller size town.
Solid shop with friendly and knowledgable employees. Selection and prices are what you'd expect from any other quality skate/snow/wake shop. I'll be happy to return the next time I need some gear.
Syndicate is a great store carrying everything you could need ski and snowboard-wise. Their staff are friendly and always helpful, but never pushy for you to buy anything. Would absolutely recommend stopping here if you are in town.
I bought a skateboard here a year ago and customer service was great! Employees were nice, they were more than glad to help me find the right size and gave some tips on how to find the right fit. 5 stars! Not to mention they let me pick out a few stickers:)
