Taco Fan

I bit into my fish taco and it was hard and chewy. Not good. Lady serving me was really nice though, good service, food mid.

Loved my experience here! The atmosphere and customer service was great! They have so many authentic Mexican food options. I had three tacos, two chicken, one pulled pork and it was SOOOO delicious! Very fresh, and was served very quickly! My friend had the soup and she was in love! I do wish they also served alcohol, a margarita would be nice to have while enjoying our tacos! But either way, I can’t wait to come back to try some of the taquitos! Definitely recommend stopping by here for some very fresh tacos!

Me and my boyfriend tried this spot for the first time today and oh! My! Goodness! The entire menu looks gorgeous! We ordered steak tacos and papa con chille and both were absolutely delicious, seasoned to perfection, the meat just fell apart in our mouth. I don't usually eat meat and im a very picky eater and this place has won over my heart and my taste buds.

The churros are also top notch, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they come with a cream filled version too! It was my first churro and it felt like a warm hug.

The server was super friendly, she correctlt guessed our churro dipping sauce preferences and she was very informative about the menu. Absolutely made our night! Over all the place has amazing good vibes. We'll definitely be back

This place has been transformed and its just lovely. The food is truly AMAZING! Big portions and very flavourful, everything made on site and fresh. Mexican music, modern decor. Comfy chairs!
The Rancho Burrito is instantly addictive!

Super fresh food AND service. You can tell that care goes into their business. Liquor license coming soon.

Reasonable pricing!

Service was good with friendly staff, however the food was only so-so. Had much better tacos from other places.

Had the Westcoast chicken tacos - they were absolutely delicious! Great mexican menu, initimate surroundings and very friendly service.

Taco Fan used to be one of my faves for a quick takeout in Maple Ridge. The prices were fair and the food was good. Perhaps there's new owners recently because the food quality has fallen sharply and the prices risen sharply. I will not return for a $20 sub par bowl. I'll keep driving into poco and get Chipotle.

Love this place, been here a few times and they never disappoint. Tacos are amazing and reasonably priced, their fish tacos are delish. Great vibes and decor!

Tacofan just catered the food for a party we had. I can't praise this place enough! From the moment we talked to Alex about our needs we knew we were in good hands.

Portion size is tiny for the price in the area. Which is fine if the food was good. We got the Carnitas Bowl, Chipotle Steak Bowl, Cod Bowl, and a few different tacos and some Mexican cola! The tacos were fine & the cola was great.

The rice in the bowls were hard. For the price for a bowl that is just unacceptable. After eating and trying them out. I was busy picking out the hard rice bits out of my teeth afterwards.

Food was ok but service was horrible.
We were over charged for an item we didn’t order. We weren’t shown the bill, the staff just gave us the machine to pay. After we paid, we asked to check the bill and we realize there was an extra item on the bill that we didn’t order.
We asked for a refund for that item ($7.75 + tax and tips).
I was surrounded by 3 staff who tried to ‘help’ me with the situation. I was told they had to give us the refund in cash - which was fine. But they insist they would only refund us for the cost of the item on the menu $7.75 - which does not include taxes and tip.
They seem to have a hard time understanding why I shouldn’t be paying for taxes and tips for an item I didn’t pay for, and that I’m being unreasonable for asking for my money back.
One of them said to me, ‘you need to understand they are in training’. Being in training is not an excuse for offering bad service, making mistakes are ok but mistakes still have to be fixed.
After interrogating me for 10 minutes, they finally agreed to refund me the full amount of the over charged item - the refund was for $9.20. The staff gave me a $5 bill and the rest in quarters.
WOW, I’m sorry you had to do this to satisfy your ego. I wish we asked for a refund for the tips of the entire bill.

My big group of friends came in after along day of tubing and the service was fantastic! The staff were super nice, friendly and catered our every need with no hesitation! The food tasted good and familiar If this spot wasn’t so far for us it would definitely be a daily place!

Taco-fantastic. This place hits the spot for your Mexican cravings. We were drawn in by the chic decor and impressive reviews so decided to try it out. Worth it. Tried the carnitas burrito and fajita quesadilla. Both were straight up delicious. The carnitas was tender and juicy had a nice savory sweet well balanced flavor. The fajita was spicy but not too, and it came with salsa which we absolutely loved. If you're hungry and in Maple Ridge, this place is a must.

Delicious food, large portions, and quick service - perfect stop after our overnight camp at golden ears. They had plenty gluten free and a few vegan options. Patio was dog friendly!

Overpriced!

Also, Ran out of chicken making an online just ahead of me when I'm about to order the chicken and ended up with beef and wasn't good at all. Will not be back. Stale

Holy this place is good, the best taco place I've tried. West coast and Steak tacos are killer.

The best Cod taco! So delicious with fresh ingredients and very kind staff.

Honestly the cod taco was the best I’ve ever had.

They had awesome nachos, especially the "cheesy" kind. My grandson is a VERY picky eater and he cleaned up the whole thing. I had a beef taco and wished I had ordered 2. Very clean, staff very friendly and I visited when Rogers went down. Everything went well.

Awesome food, authentic and really clean, nice indoor and outdoor dining. We’ll def be back! The medley mushroom taco is vegan friendly and vegetarian-probably my fave off the menu. Chicken burrito is also really good. Lots of options!

Had a craving for Mexican and Taco Fan did not disappoint! Fabulous staff, fabulous food beautiful patio! Would have liked more spice & hot sauce but we thoroughly enjoyed our experience, thank you!

Best tacos I've ever had. I was out in Maple Ridge for a film shoot and our 2nd hit snack was from Taco Fan. I am a fan now. I would actually drive out here specifically to have their tacos they are so good! I got the cod taco and a mushroom taco. Absolutely brilliant! Downside.they may have ruined me for other taco restaurants!

Atmosphere is different since the refresh but still nice. Food is great as usual and I noticed the portions seem bigger than before. I recommend checking it out again if you haven't been in a while.

Not what it used to be. Unorganized. Concept of takeout doesnt seem to apply any longer. No chance to pick what is in your burrito. Ended up with not what I asked for. Staff don't seem to care and cant even roll a burrito. Pity. Used to be excellent.

Love that their new patio is dog friendly and wheelchair accessible! I will be back again over the summer for sure!

First time trying Taco Fan. Went there because they won’t check the health pass. Tried their tacos and Nachos. Both were great but the Street nachos were fantastic. I would highly recommend eating there.

Small bit of advice. Service was a bit slow they made the tacos first but we waited a bit long for the nachos. Probably best to make the nachos first then the quicker good next.
