I’m sorry but it’s far away from Mexican. Nor even Tex Mex. Flavour is ok, the restaurant is clean, but if you’re looking for Mexican food, this is not the place

Have found memories of this place from back in 05/06. I come here anytime I am in the neighborhood. The owner and staff are very delightful and friendly. Good to see that they are still as lively as ever.

They do tex-mex style food and do it well. The bang for the buck is incredible as they stuff a lot of ingredients into a wrap. The tatter tots are always nice and crispy. Do get their in-house salsa - it's very good!

A richmond staple. Been going here since early 2000 and has always been a great lunch spot. Try the tater tots supreme!

I ate from taco Luis for the first time today. Service was lightning fast. I had the super 3 which has rhe taco salad and tater tots. Portions are big and it tastes good

Delicious Asian take on Mexican food. Let that sink in. If you really are from Richmond, this is a favorite spot.

This last visit I ordered the number 1 special. Chicken is worth the small extra cost for sure. Have already tried a few other items on the menu and service is prompt and the food great. Value is incredible and it may not be the moooost authentic, it's a great variety and option. Got a friend hooked on this after showing people this stall. Though if anything maybe 2 little packets of ketchup isn't all too much for the "mexican fries", at least I found. Big recommend.

Who else in Richmond remembers that delightful and unique gentleman who used to be front-of-house, back in the 90s?

Taco Luis today is every bit as delicious and reasonably priced as it was in my heyday, and this is no small feat, given how inflation and food costs in general have skyrocketed.

To be frank, I'm surprised a successful food court survivor like the always popular Taco Luis hasn't yet ventured into the world of stand-alone restaurants.

Very delicious the veggies where fresh and the Fried burrito and tots where crispy fresh and hot. It is like Taco Bell with the same prices but actually really good. Best fast food American Mexican place around.

Every dish was delicious. Right amount of crispiness and chewiness. The food was assembled tightly and minimized mess. Sauce was delicious. Will be back for more.

Tater tots are legendary. Beef Burritos are always super solid as well. Definitely a staple lunch whenever I'm in Lansdowne. Owner is also very nice.

Food is great, but with the busy season please check your takeout order before you leave. I ordered the 10-inch fried burrito special. You're supposed to get two 10-inch burritos, however I got one 10-inch and the other one was more like a 7-inch.

Always heard great things about this place, so decided to give it a shot. Food isn’t authentic Mexican but good none the less. I enjoyed the 12” chicken burrito and Mexican rice.

Some people seem to love the tater tots. Not sure why, they seem pretty regular to me. But those cucumbers they put on the burritos sure are tasty!

We were hoping to try out a 5 star Mexican restaurant in Vancouver for Cinco de Mayo Day but heavy traffic thwarted our plans. Ended up at the food court in Lansdowne Centre and got our Mexican fix at Taco Luis. I usually just order their tater tots for a snack; as I wanted a full meal this time, I decided to try the Tater Tots Deluxe combo meal. They put rice, beans, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, peppers, cheese, sour cream and salsa on top. I had the option of putting guacamole on top as well but I decided to pass on it as I was quite happy with the mound of food piled on top of my tater tots already.

I really don't care whether it's authentic Mexican food, I only care that it tastes good. I've always loved the tater tots at Taco Luis, and now that I've tried their Tater Tots Deluxe I think I've just found my new "go to" meal at that food court!

There are plenty of other options as well if you're in the mood for something other than tater tots. Burritos, Tacos, Soft Tacos, Taco Salads.etc. My husband ordered a 12 " beef burrito combo and my daughter ordered a 10 " chicken burrito combo. (Didn't get any photos of their meals. Was too impatient to start eating the Deluxe meal sitting in front of me!)

Ingredients were fresh, but a burrito must have rice, at least as an option, burrito with no rice is a donair

Pretty good but I dislike some of the toppings for veggies and the taco itself becomes a huge mess if you order all the sauces.

The white salad dressing they add is a bit strange. Not something you usually have on tacos.

Overall it’s not bad just be careful of what toppings you order on your tacos.

Not the most authentic Mexican place out there but they do provide pretty fresh ingredients and if you're looking for a quick meal at the food court this place is usually a good choice. I usually get the taco salad because i like to eat the bowl after!

Still one of the best places for TexMex food. Try the 12 inch burrito special! The taters are absolutely mouthwatering. Try the spicy salsa!

THE FOOD IS SOOOO YUMMY! The portions are so great too! They've never skimped out on the food, and you never feel guilty eating here because you can't see the food seeping with oil (like you would eating at taco bell for example). The prices are the best too!

Under-rated "Mexican" food in an Asian food court. Service is fast and prompt. Food is fresh and cool.

Grabbed a 2 pc deep fried bean burrito.

Lil bland. Needs some salt or a dip.
Hard to complain with that great price. $5.05 all in.
