Love the decor

I got the lamb taquitos, the cod taco, and a sangria; came to around $25 (happy hour prices). I was a bit surprised at the $8 for one taco, but the taco was HUGE, i could barely finish. So delicious too

I will say the seating inside is quite limited and you’re squished in tight by the next table. There is outdoor seating available — i imagine this place would be popular during warm weather.

Drove an hour to get that delicious crispy chicken burrito that I was craving. Was super sad biting into the cold chicken, it also had barely any sauce in the wrap. I'll have to stick to the other location.

When I was in yesterday the staff was quite brisk and essentially non-verbal to me, which is strangely unnerving for a dining out experience. Anyway, I ordered takeaway and was handed two loose burritos. I asked for a bag and they said I need to pay 25 cents extra. Like what? Why not just charge that in the bill for a takeaway order. I live in Olympic village, so I ended up handholding my two loose burritos across the Cambie bridge because I don’t carry quarters like a lady from the 1950s. More attention on experience and service guys than pinching people for pennies. The burritos are $40 btw and I left a 15%. Goes without saying, I won’t be back.

I visited the store at 11: 00 AM and received no acknowledgement upon entering. I had to ask the staff if the store was open, to which I received only a nod. After ordering takeout and completing the payment, there was no verbal interaction or a thank you. When I inquired if I should wait for my order at the spot, I got a brief ‘yes’. Upon receiving my order of two burritos, I requested a bag and was told it would cost an additional $0.25. I didn’t have cash, and the staff then mentioned that we could order something else and charge that to the bill. This should have been offered during the ordering process. It’s disappointing, especially since we had left a tip.

We usually visit the branch in Olympic Village, which is always pleasant. This experience at your location was a letdown, and we won’t be returning

This review reflects my experience with the restaurant staff at the Yaletown location, moreso than the food.

I went in yesterday evening and picked up the vegan chickun burritos for take out. The burritos were pretty good, but one of the staff working there was very rude.

The lady that helped me retrieve my order at first was nice. I asked for hot sauce and she was able to gave me me a couple of the red hot sauces, but forgot to ask for the mild (green) sauce to go. I went up to the counter by the kitchen where they have the stacks of small take out containers of hot sauces to take away and I asked a second staff member if I could have a couple of mild ones. She was very rude and belligerent in her tone of voice, telling me that I “need to pay for them at the front, $0.50 per container”. If I would have dined in, I wouldn’t have been charged for using the condiments so why should I be charged for it for having it for my take out? Any other restaurant would have been gladly able to give them out. The first staff that helped me initially had no problem giving me the red hot sauce at all, so I don’t understand the inconsistency. I did not end up purchasing the green hot sauce containers because spending extra on the tiniest sliver of sauce was ridiculous and I had already prepaid for my takeout. The second staff member that I encountered was very impolite, and left me feeling very annoyed as I left the restaurant.

Not sure if I’ll want to get take out from this location again, let alone dine in with such rude staff, especially having them be so cheap and frugal when it comes to patrons using their condiments.

17 dollars for a chicken burrito is absurd.

It was already not cheap but this price increase doesn't really justifying quality of the food

Simply the best value and tasting food of our whole 3 week trip. Good atmosphere whatever time you’re there and friendly staff.

The food is wonderful. But you rarely get everything you ordered. I have ordered here dozens of times over the past two years and virtually every time they miss something despite me paying for it and it being on the receipt. It makes it really hard to recommend for delivery when each time you don't know which of your guests is going to be missing half their meal. I guess the staff just can't be bothered to actually check the orders for completeness before they go out. I can forgive the occasional honest mistake, but this level of carelessness deserves to be called out. I'd give the service here zero stars if I could.

Absolutely incredible! I ordered the Prawn Tempura Burrito with a side of Red Salsa and Tater Tots. The burrito isn’t your typical burrito but you should definitely try it! The flavors went so well together and the red salsa had the perfect amount of kick. The burrito was pretty full and filling. I was hesitant about ordering the Tots from a taco and burrito place, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were so good! The salsa ranch that comes with the tots was also really good. I am sure that everything on their menu is flavorful and delicious after this experience!

Food was ok. They add lime almost in every dish. Chicken Taco and Chicken canadian were great. Tortilla Soup was just ok. Chicken wings were disappointing. Good and party vibes.

Loaded gems were great but the burritos were terrible. In particular the brisket burrito was dry and inedible.

Long wait if u get take out. Expect to wait 20 mins min. Even with no line up.
It's always busy for dining in.
I'm a vegetarian so I wanted to try the new chickun burrito. It was gross. Don't bother. It was tiny scraps of something. Taste like grease. Unimpressed.
Also they HATE IT when u ask for the condiments or wet ingredients on the side. I still do it. Who wants a soggy burrito when u get home?

**update* I received an email saying they were sorry and they will contact me to fix this.
I got an email saying they will pass it on to review it. Do u think anything happened? No. I replied to email weeks ago. Still nothing. I'm assuming they just say that here so it makes them look like they care. Which they don't. Thanks taco Fino.

I'm a big fan of tacofino in general and have eaten at every one of their locations.usually have a burrito from Yaletown once a week or more. I was really excited to try their new vegab krispy chickun burrito. The first time I had it, sadly unimpressed as it is deep fried soy curls that are flavorless and not meaty at all (Kokomo does soy curls very well). It was like pork rindes in a burrito. I tried two more times and at another location to see if they would figure out the recipe over time but saldy, the last one felt like it was covered in flour and still flavorless. I've switched to bean and cheese as I'm vegetarian and it's a consistent and tasty burrito. I hate to give anything less than 5 starts but this new vegan option left me disappointed after such excitement to try it. Kits still does a solid crispy tofu and the commissary location has a good chorizo tofu. Hopefully they can moisten the soy so it's not so flavorless and dry.

Good tacos but I wish I had seen their marketing campaign before I visited. Using transgender drag queens to advertise for a "family friendly" business was the deal breaker for me.

I understand this is a chain restaurant and the marketing decisions are not necessarily made by the owner of this particular location but the chain is only as strong as the weakest link and your advertising campaign was that weak link and the reason I will not be going back.
