My wife, daughter and myself stopped for lunch. Our daughters 1st visit. This family has got it all together. Amazing cuisine and at family pricing; all wrapped up in a true Mexican venue. The Mexican food store annex is well stocked and very clean. 5 Stars is just not enough. Best Wishes to the owners and team for continued success.

The people working are so kind, great service always, they even remember my order because of how frequently I come! The carne asada burrito is my absolute favourite so delicious and filling for a reasonable price too!:)

Hands down, best authentic Mexican I've ever had in Canada! I had the 3 enchiladas with green sauce served with rice & beans. Perfection.

Amazing and authentic food, served not too spicy but with some delicious hot sauces. The rice is surprisingly good too! Me gusta mucho.

Really enjoyed the food from Taco Riendo. Have had it take out as well as large order. The chiles rellenos are amazing. The refried beans and guacamole are great sides and pair well with everything. The nachos are a pretty big portion as well. One thing that I wasn't crazy about was the beef tongue (lengua) taco. Not sure maybe it was an off day but it just didn't taste the same as I've had before. Will have to try more next time!

Really authentic Mexican restaurant! We had pozole and enchiladas along with cervesas and margarita. All were delicious. Very good service and a nice selection of grocery items.

Delicious and wonderful in every way. We had the enchiladas with green sauce with chips and guacamole to start. Highly recommend it all!

Wonderful Latino market and Mexican restaurant. Menu has many popular dishes from Menudo and Pozole to enchiladas, burritos and of course tacos. Simple but delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to be back for another taco!

This place is definitely authentic and has yummy Mexican food!

Menu is small and there is a tiny grocery store section inside. Seating for dine in can be hard but we lucked out. There is also outdoor seating on the sidewalk.

I went for three different tacos with the combo platter. The refried beans and rice was yummy. For taco flavors I chose the cochinita, asada, and carnitas. All were very good!

The only thing I would change is to have more side condiments to add to the tacos. For example, I would have liked lemon slices, some raw chopped onlon, cilantro, avocado, etc. We also wished they sold horchata.

Everyone inside and the staff were kind. Will definitely be back again.

Friendly staff, good food and reasonable prices. They make their own tortilla chips - excellent and you can buy them by the bag to go.

It was difficult to find anything open in Oliver for a Sunday lunch. This cute little Mexican cafe was open. Food was very tasty, fresh and fast. Price was reasonable. Staff could have been a little more friendly.

This is, hands down, the best Mexican food spot in the area. I used to get Mexican food in the States where they give you free chips and salsa to start and the portions are bigger. These are big portions for Canada. And it's delicious. I am unadventurous and I only get fajitas at Mexican restaurants. My son said the tacos were delicious. And he ate some of my fajita chicken and loved it too. The ambiance is great. There's a little store in there and many Mexicans who are here on work visas for the summer farms eat here too. Will be back.

Very unexpected to find amazing Mexican cuisine in such a small town. Gotta go here if you’re from here or (like us) passing through!

Food is really good! Although if you're not a fan of hotsauce the burrito seems kind of bland. Still very good though!

Little family run cozy place to grab a bite. Food is tasty, service is good. They also stock some Mexican grocery item and canned items.

Good lunch. Not the best I've had but not the worst by far. If a friend suggested lunch there I would go again.

It's a busy place, and when locals eat there.you know it's a good spot:) I get the steak tacos. And so happy they have pacifico beer, however it is $9 a bottle. If they could bring that price down, I'd be a guaranteed regular:)

Service was fast reasonable and a decent portion my only complaint is they really need a remodel its become dated.

I have eaten Mexican food at many restaurants all around North America, Alberta, Ontario, BC, including the US, and Mexico. I like to think that I have a strong grasp of true authentic Mexican cuisine. This is by far my favourite Mexican food I have ever had, I have had the tacos, the enchiladas, the tampiquena’s, on many occasions and everything is consistently incredible. I love the staff and the fact that they take real pride in their food. If you are looking for amazing food, very reasonably priced, and a great lime margarita on the rocks this is the place. And they know how to make a real Cadillac margarita. This place makes me very happy

I do not recommend this location.
Sloppy and lazy. Ignored me after handing me the order. Missing burrito - verified on receipt and confirmed verbally 3x before paying. Poor service

We had a great experience here! The owners are friendly and personable, and you can see their passion in every dish, every wall that is hand-painted, and every smile for every customer. Not to mention the food is delicious!

Labour day Monday we stopped here. The staff are very friendly. True to their claim the food was very authentic Mexican and it was delicious. We ate on the outdoor patio and there was some noise from passing traffic but the food is worth it.

Fantastic. Authentic. Great, friendly people. The patio was loud with traffic flowing by, but not worth losing a star for.
