Working with Talia was an amazing experience. From the time we first we contacted her to the delivery of the photos, she made this experience a joyful one. Talia was so kind and patient, and went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. The pictures came out better than imagined. I could not have asked for a better photographer.

Wow! Is typically the response I get when I show off my engagement and wedding photos from Taliah. I had the pleasure of working with her for my wedding photography, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and quality of our photos. Taliah made two awkward people look like pros in front the camera, and captured our day with the perfect mix of posed and organic photos, showing the emotions, fun and memorable details of our day to perfection. Not only were the photos beyond beautiful but I can’t get over how quickly she got them back to us, the girl is magic! Highly recommend working with her for your big day, thank you for helping us hold on to these memories forever!

We hired Taliah for our engagement shoot and wedding photos, and we couldn't be happier with that decision. Not only is she extremely talented, and produces the most beautiful photos, but she is super fun to be around, makes you feel comfortable and confident during the whole process, and goes above and beyond! She made space in her schedule last minute to take our engagement photos in Cabo while she was there shooting another wedding, and travelled all the way to Lake Country, BC for our wedding day. We especially loved the little gift she gave us to open once our photos were delivered. A thoughtful touch which made the moment so much more special.:)

I came across Taliah's photography while trying to find a wedding resort in Mexico via Instagram. I instantly knew there was something different and special about her, and we ended up planning our wedding day around Taliah's availability. I can hands down say this was the BEST decision we made, and she exceeded my expectations (which, TBH, were already very high!). Taliah is an incredible person we genuinely enjoyed spending time with, and her work ethic is unlike anything I've seen! She went out of her way to scope out photo locations for us, sent us examples of spots she thought we might like, and navigated our highly complex family tree without breaking a sweat.

On the wedding day, Taliah started the day by getting soaked in champagne during one of the getting ready shots. Instead of being upset that I literally sprayed champagne in her face, she responded, "That was great! Do it again! ". She ended the night by getting IN THE POOL (with her expensive camera equipment) to capture our end-of-the-night pool jump with the bridal party. Taliah was a calming presence from day one, and she was always quick to respond to questions or offer advice. Multiple guests approached us after our wedding and commented that whenever they felt like a special moment needed to be captured, Taliah was already there. She truly had an uncanny sense of when & where to be during the reception! I can't stress enough that she was our best wedding-related decision, and I would prioritize her over every other wedding detail (including location, decor, etc.). To future brides, HIRE THIS WOMAN!

What can I say about Taliah…. She’s amazing. My wife and I recently had our dream wedding and wanted the best of the best for photographers to shoot the time of our lives. We found Taliah, looked at her portfolio online and as soon we met her, we knew we had found the person that was going to capture everything we wanted and more. Our wedding was a 2 day event with three separate events to shoot and Taliah never showed one moment of weakness through the whole time. She became a favourite of all or our friends and family as she mingled with everyone and got the most candid, intimate photos we could have ever asked for. She met all of our timelines was always professional and willing to do anything to get the best shot. I can’t just recommend Taliah for your wedding…. I can insist that if you don’t book her…. You’re making a mistake.

I found Taliah’s pictures online and immediately knew I wanted her as my wedding photographer. I had the honor of having Taliah photograph my wedding at Sandos Finisterra in Cabo last month. We had to postpone our wedding twice and Taliah was there for us every step of the way. Her communication was great through the two years of postponements and she was a wonderful presence to our wedding on the day of. She is calm, grounding, and professional and also very sweet and fun! And her pictures! She is the best wedding photographer out there in my opinion. I have received sooo many compliments on the teaser photos I have posted. They are just phenomenal. I cannot wait to see the whole album! I highly recommend working with Taliah.

Where do I even begin? If you are looking for a wedding photographer.look no further! Jeff and I were so lucky to have Taliah be a part of our special day I have nothing but amazing things to say. My husband, like many I'm sure.does not love having his photo taken and having our engagement photos done by Taliah was the perfect opportunity for him to get comfortable! Our at home intimate engagement photos along with our trip to a lush field were so relaxed and such a fun experience for us both! I don’t even know where to start.

Taliah made our day so special. From the moment my wife and I met her we felt like we’ve known each her for so long. She was able to capture our memories perfectly and made our day feel so special. Taliah is very personable, easy to work with and enthusiastic. She was able to make us feel super comfortable and build rapport with us instantly. Her ideas and poses she suggested were fun and outside the box. They turned out perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing. We would love to work with her again.

Taliah is an absolute PRO! We got married with all Covid restrictions and literally everything that could of gone wrong did. She was quick to pivot, find us an amazing location under cover so we could get married and celebrate with our immediate families (less than 10 people restrictions). She found us an amazing spot and the pictures are to die for! She captured every single moment we wanted and more! I cannot say enough good things about Taliah because we love her so much! If you are wondering who you should book, don't look any further because Taliah is your girl!

We cannot recommend Taliah more highly. From day one of chatting with her, she was incredibly warm, friendly, and amazingly helpful. She is an expert in destination weddings and was way more helpful to us than our actual destination "wedding planner" was! She helped us make a timeline for our day and made incredible suggestions. Truly went above and beyond what we expected from a photographer. Needless to say, her photos speak for themselves. Incredibly beautiful and stunning. Unfortunately, my husband and I did not get to have our wedding photos done by Taliah in Mexico as we had planned, due to COVID. When we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel our wedding, Taliah was understanding, kind, and generous. She refunded us the money and made the process as smooth as possible for us. We will use the deposit we sent her towards booking her in the future. We cannot wait until we are allowed to travel once again and will be able to finally have a photoshoot done with her! Taliah, thank you for everything! We are SO happy we found you.

Taliah was an absolute gem to work with! She photographed my wedding in 2018 and I still find myself scrolling through the photos all the time. She went above and beyond typical photographer duties and she was so easy to be around. I would not hesitate to recommend Taliah for any shoots or weddings - she is incredible.

Taliah is a dream to work with. We thought our engagement shoot might be awkward since we aren’t great behind the camera but it was anything but. Taliah talked us through it every step of the way and we had a blast! I would absolutely recommend her to all of my friends and family.

As much as I wish I was writing an amazing review, I am not. Taliah Leigh photography was so pleasant and we were so excited to have her as our life long photographers, but up until we had to make the hard decision to postpone our wedding to 2022, not only because of the unknown guest count, but also being that my fiancé’s entire family is international and would not be able to attend due to how strict the travel restrictions have gotten, Taliah was not as pleasant. I was hopeful an accommodation could have been made considering I’ve spoken to a few other brides in the same boat who have had no issues with their photographer post poning. Now, we understand contracts are made to protect vendors in these situations, contracts are also at the discretion of the owner. We have paid many deposits for many vendors who have been so accommodating and have made postponing our wedding much less stressful, However I can’t say the same about Taliah.

Taliah let us know that she was available for the new date and if we wanted to postpone we would have to do a full rebook which meant loosing our deposit and paying a new deposit. After sharing that losing a large portion of our deposit was going to be a big loss for us, Taliah first proposed a change of date as long as it was before April 2022, and with a $500 fee however our venue only operates between May and Sept. It was then proposed to us that a weekday date in 2022 could be accommodated with a fee and with 2022 prices, not honouring her 2021 prices. Our venue also only allows for the main reception to be on the weekend). What was most devastating is that we offered to pay Taliah another full deposit on top of the deposit we’ve already paid, if it would go towards the over all amount in order to accommodate her affected business. That would be a year in a half in advance. We were also fine to pay the $500 change of date fee for the change of date to be a weekend, however she said that due to it being high season she could not do a weekend, this makes no sense because she would be paid either way and she had 7 months to re book the date we’re giving away, she also mentioned that she had 4 elopement offers for our original date that she has to turn down, therefore I’m positive she will re book. I felt I was as accommodating as I could be and all proposals were declined. It was really hard to make the decision to cancel considering I fell in love with Taliahs work, unfortunately we are loosing a big chunk of our photography budget, but being that a deposit was worth more than a long time client, we didn’t feel comfortable spending our wedding day with someone who although seemed interested in helping us at first, didn’t actually seem to have much empathy in the end.

As much as I hate bashing people, and how uncomfortable it has been to ask for an accommodation, this review is honest and I warn others to ensure that you ask about rescheduling despite the contract in the event that restrictions are still this strict. I have made sure I have asked all other photographers we have been interested in these questions and all have informed me that in the event 2022 continues to have strict restrictions a date change would be accommodated and some said with the possibility of a small fee. Make sure to ask the questions because there is obviously vendors out there less understanding towards the affects of covid on wedding celebrations than most others.

Taliah took my prom photos and also photos of my family with our horses, and I will definitely be hiring her one day to photograph my wedding. She is absolutely phenomenal and so talented! She is the sweetest and makes you feel like your in the company of a best friend. Many of my family’s favourite photos were taken by Taliah. I would recommend her to anyone.

Taliah was absolutely amazing. From our first few conversations, I felt so comfortable knowing we were in great hands. She is so knowledgeable about destination weddings and was able to answer every question I had. Having never done any sort of photography before, we had no idea what to expect or how to pose for photos. She did a fantastic job providing direction and getting some of the most beautiful wedding photos I have ever seen. To top it off, she got all our wedding photos edited and back to us in record timing! I would highly highly recommend Taliah to anyone looking for a photographer or videographer. Her and her husband make an amazing team and we couldn’t be happier that we trusted them with capturing one of our most important days. ️

I could never speak highly enough of Taliah! From the moment we spoke over the phone to go over initial wedding details, leading to the day of and even after she exceeded in every aspect. Planning a destination wedding was frightening to begin as there are so many moving pieces but never once did I worry about this aspect of planning. Taliah was very personable, responsive, professional, helpful, had lots of great recommendations and it feels like she became part of our family. When we got our entire album it literally was better then Christmas! The final images were exceptional! Never thought I would look at the pictures at much as I do but its hard not to. Again highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

From the first time we met with Taliah, I knew instantly we wanted her to be apart of our wedding. I could not have been HAPPIER with every aspect of her, from professionalism, value for stunning photos, how comfortable she made us feel and genuinely how much she cared. She is truly a sweetheart. It felt like my friend was photographing our wedding and put our whole bridal party at ease. We had so much fun with her. Our photos are absolutely stunning. Taliah is wonderful to work with. We had an excellent experience and LOVE our photos. She made our entire group feel comfortable and relaxed. I couldn't love our end result more. She gave us a sneak peak right away and she turned around the photo package quickly. I would highly recommend her to any future couple!

Taliah is an incredible photographer. I got married last weekend on Quadra Island, BC and Taliah did the photography (yes she travels). Not only is she an amazingly talented individual she is so much more than a photographer. She was calm, cool, collected, organized, thorough, sweet and made both myself and my husband feel SO comfortable. She has an incredible eye for locations and is very professional. When I was first planning my wedding I read somewhere that if you're going to spend money on your wedding it should be on your DJ who creates your memories and for your photographer who captures them. I could not agree more. My only regret is not choosing a bigger package to have Taliah stay longer. If you're humming about spending the money on Taliah I say DO IT but moreso do it for the full day and the maximum amount of time that you can possibly afford. You will NOT regret it. At the end of the day these memories captured are what will hang on your walls, be discussed for years and be passed down for generations to come. We love you Taliah and cannot wait to continue to work with you and have you document our lives moving forward. 10/10 would recommend Taliah Leigh!

Taliah is extremely talented. Her style of photography is beautiful, natural and whimsical. She captures the most intimate of moments and makes you feel so comfortable in doing so.

Taliah was absolutely amazing to work with! Preparing for a wedding is stressful and finding the perfect photographer to capture all those special moments, can be even more challenging, but not with Taliah. She is amazing! After dozens of emails and seeing how talented Taliah is we booked her for our engagement photos and wedding! She came to our wedding in Mexico this past November and was so professional! Planning a destination wedding without knowing anyone who had personally gone through that experience themselves was not the easiest thing to do. The only thing I knew was that my dream wedding would be at a beach in Mexico 
I found Taliah’s Instagram by browsing destination wedding hashtags. At the time I didn’t know Taliah was from Canada but I had already fallen in love with her photography style. At that point I decided to contact her to inquire about her services. Not going to lie, at the beginning I was nervous about booking a photographer who I had never met, and lived thousands of miles away in a different country!
Right off the bat Taliah put herself out there for us, at first with prompt responses to our emails, and later on with a facetime call. She was AMAZING! So helpful with things I didn’t expect a photographer to even be interested in. She does her homework when it comes to researching the wedding destination to offer as much guidance as possible.
Taliah had her camera ready to go every time she was around us (welcome dinner, all day on your special day, day after, farewell dinner). She captured every detail.
If you are considering Taliah as your photographer, look no more! She is the most talented, friendly, & professional person you could invite to your special day!
