Talize Thrift Store

Huge selection. The store is big and bright and each section is clearly labelled and well organized considering the amount of inventory. Prices seemed fair. The condition of the items was all over the place but that’s to be expected in any thrift store.

Prices can be very high unfortunately, however you can still get great deals! I found a darby allin plush ($6) and a brand new steve madden bag ($24.) I don't understand $50-24 dollars for used nike shoes that are stained.that's just pure greed in the shoe aisles.

Staff is always lovely. I do wanna say Talize needs to do something about the A/C. Not only was it uncomfortable to be in as a customer, the workers were clearly suffering from heat exhaustion. The company needs do something about this ASAP or I’ll be calling work safe on behalf of these poor workers.

This is the best thrift store I've been to - so spacious, well organized, and so much selection! Love that they receive a lot of good quality brands. Some reviews talk about the prices and there definitely are some things I see that raise an eyebrow as to why the price is so high, but a lot of the clothing items are in such great condition that I don't mind spending $8 on a shirt that I otherwise would have paid $20+ for in another store. And if you keep an eye on the daily manager specials (50% off a particular tag colour), you can get some great discounts. It takes time to comb through the racks but lots of great finds if you're not in a rush.

Pretty good selection, priced way better than Value Village. But, it’ll take some digging to find some real nice stuff! Some things are still priced crazily, like $30 on a pair of pilling nike sweats. There are a lot of changing rooms, but the limit is 9 items. This location is honestly really nice, it’s always kept clean and the clothes are organized by colour and size.

I’ve been going here for the past couple of years and I used to have no problem with the service. But there’s this one employee who is kinda rude to me each time she checks me out at the register. I don’t expect each and every employee to treat me like a god, but this has happened on several occasions. She’s nice to everyone else, greets them, but with me she just tells me the price. Of course, she doesn’t necessarily need to be nice to me. But I still want to be treated as a human being. It kinda sucks to say hi and ask how their doing and getting ignored. She was talking to every customer before and after me with a smile on her face and talking a bunch. I’m not sure why, but either way, discrimination is not cool. Honestly, this employee makes me not want to come to this location anymore.

The other employee that I’ve seen is an angel though, so nice and thoughtful.

Can find some decent things here prices can be a little high but you gotta dig and you'll find a few gems.

Love Talize, definitely my favorite thrift store. I find the prices here much more reasonable than Value Village.
I like that the clothes are color coordinated, making easier to find certain items. Nicely maintained and relatively clean place as well.

Some things are so over priced. One thing I found out is the company is out of New York State. They rarely donate anything back to the community. Refunds are a gift card. Not cool

Amazing thrift store, friendly staff, changing rooms and always has something that you are looking for. Not busy at all, even on weekends.

Best thrift store for toddler clothes! Super well organized and spacious. Most thrift stores feel very messy and unmanaged but this Talize is immaculate!

Very good and organised.a bit hard to find hidden gems but found really good clothes here.very inexpensive for quality and brands of clothes and many y2k clothing options.they even offer student discounts.only con is the changing rooms.can’t take cart in and only 9 items at once

I spent time here browsing stuffs while waiting for my takeout order across the street and there are so many stuffs you will find here that you cannot find anywhere else. It is like treasure hunting and finding gem on a rubble. Prices are sometimes expensive for overly used and sometimes damaged items but some also are priced fairly. Staffs are friendly and helpful when you need them.

The lady working at the changing rooms is really racist, rude and has a terrible lazy attitude. She first told me to go in the changing room and then when I came out she started asking loudly “how did you get in there? , ” “did you crawl in? ! ” I was utterly disgusted by her behaviour. I don’t know if she has dementia or not. All I know is that no customer deserves this type of treatment.

Went to Value Village in Langley yesterday for a pair of pants.no change rooms. Far different story @Talize. Go to Talize instead, they HAVE change rooms!

Love this place! Massive (don't bother if your on a time limit) it's way out of my way as I live in east van and don't drive.but the 1.5 hour trip each way is worth it.great deals.usually a sale on.

Nice clean store. Very well laid out and organized. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit higher than they were about a year ago which was a little disappointing, but I still came away with a couple of great finds.

I have have visited this store for years and got some finds, however during my recent visit I was very disappointed with their prices. T shirts are $ 8.99! For used t-shirts! I found one that I had purchased new at superstore for $5.99 on sale brand new, but it was $8.99 at Talize. I would have bought more if the prices were more reasonable.

Just love a bargain. I get that here.along with just more deals. Did I mention I loved this place.

Large selection but lots of the clothes are really out dated and/or stained other wise great place good deals friendly workers

I have visited this store for years and just like it's Langley counterpart, I'm frustrated at the reduction in books, knick knacks and quality. The items put out would have been checked for condition, maybe you'd find vintage stuff, making practically anything you find a contender. Now, holes, pilling, stains.shoes looking like they should have been thrown out. The real kicker is the prices! 5.99 for a children's tshirt? 7.99 for an Ardene tshirt? Maybe an everyday price for any and all and bring back the thrill of the hunt. C'mon guys, do better.

I would consider this thrift store in the mid-tier price range - e.g. Most clothing can be around $8-$13 whereas there are smaller household trinkets for $1-$4. Good quality and many branded items too. The main appeal for me is that their inventory is quite robust and diverse in categories. It can be overwhelming if you're planning to look through everything, but it makes for a great spot to repeatedly visit since you can almost always find something new.

Great items without the greatest of expenses.it's like shopping at a high end store with the low cost savings

They had the material my daughter needed for her Halloween costume. And helped me with my Talize card so there machine could read it. Thanks to the cashier.

I love shopping here it makes my day everytime I can get with my wife and go shopping for Christmas presents I got my nephew a shirt from here he said it was ok my wife buys all our household objects from here did you know if you come here and sit in there chairs all day they say nothing to you but one day I saw a citizen walk in and they sat down beside me and then I started a conversation with a very pretty woman my age (25) I fell deeply in love I took her to a bunch of fancy places but nowhere could make us feel as special as this store but one day I was waiting for her and I got terrible news my wife found out about the beutiful woman I was seeing and she got upset so I did the right thing and I had them introduce themselves to each other then became good friends now I have 2 wives! Happy days

This store is clean & is practicing covid safety measures well. There is a wide choice of gently, near new used clothing & very reasonably priced. Also, the price of shoes is reasonable. I would definitely recommend this store if you're needing some nice clothing & are looking for a bargain.

Took a few years if driving by but finally went in, HUGE selection of everything and clean store

It sure has lots of choices to pick from. But most of times some of the cloths are not inexpensive for been used. Overall, still this is an affordable place.

Talize gives birth to reasonable price stuff but some of them are expensive than their brand new price.some stuff in man t-shirt and other is in women pants. Rather than the stuff's quality is good and well organised. Customer service is also good.

This is just like Value Village but maybe a tad more expensive. If you’re in the area pop in but it’s not worth a drive. Website is misleading.

I used to come here once a week and leave with bags full and since mid 2019 every time I’ve walked in I’ve left empty handed because of the lack of items. It’s always seems like the same boring stuff. If you’re someone thats in your 20’s and likes to keep up with the current fashion and is a size S or M, you probably won’t have much luck here.

Great branch of Talize reopened now after covid19 closures. Clean safe and social distancing practices observed

Best thrifting! Usually you can find new/ barely used items as well. Love this place and the staff and helpful.

Huge store with a massive selection of clothing. I’ve found that I always find something I like here - you find clothing items that either still have their original tags or those that are gently used.

They certainly do better with their clothing selection compared to the likes of décor. I usually look at vases, wood décor, and baskets but I never find something decent here. There’s not much to rummage through (compared to Value Village, Salvation Army, etc).

If you want to shop for clothes, you can probably find what you’re looking for here. Prices could be better (as in cheaper) but thrift stores these days are getting more overpriced anyway, unfortunately.

I went there for the first time to shop at Talize after doing search on internet.
I picked up a tool and asked the cashier if I could return it for full refund if it didn't work. She said yes, you could. The tool was not working and I went back to return it. "Sorry, no refund but store credit", that what the manager said after hearing me arguing with the one sold the item to me.

I love this place: clean, the clothes are organized by colour as well as size, there's a ton of selection, and the prices are so good. It's kind of my fave.

I love this store. The young lady at the jewellery counter was very helpful and everyone was great.

This is a great thrift store with very nice staff. The first thing I noticed was that this store is massive. There were lots of staff around who were friendly and said hi and asked if they could help. I was hoping for some books but did not find any I was interested in. There are tons and tons of clothes and shoes. The store smells clean and fresh. I will be back for sure.

Going there for long time. Lot of bargains. Good Service. Friendly staff. Keep it up and my husband and I will cont. Shopping there.

Pretty decent store. There's a lot of variety and prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a store that's big and spacious/lots of room to shop, go here.

My favourite store. Super clean and some great finds. Inventory refreshes constantly. Found what is now one of my very favourite paintings there just the other day.

Decent place to find work clothes and other used stuff in garage section like wires/power supplies, sports equipment. Employees could be friendlier but not bad service. Store is usually well stocked and clean. Sometimes you find a gem and other times you might leave empty handed but it’s worth time and effort

Would have gave 5 stars but all the pull baskets were immobilized by giant hair and dust wads around the wheels.

Terrible service!
My wife and I cleaned out our garage and I accidentally donated our daughters penny board by mistake. My wife called the shop first thing the next morning and explained the situation and asked if the manager on Duty, she said her name was Isha could find it. We explained the penny board was right on top of an open white box and Isha said numerous times that there was nothing she could do until the next day when they went through all the items. She made no efforts to even try. We have donated so many items over the years.for free. They receive our merchandise, sell it to make profit and this is how we are treated. My wife called back again and requested Isha to give some sort of customer service and just take a quick look. My wife then drove to Talize and got the Penny board back. Horrible, terrible, deplorable service. We will never donate or shop at Talize ever again!

Big, fun, thrift location. Found some good t-shirts for $3 each, saw some were $2 and a big selection of jeans. My friend and I found a bunch of good stuff and left it in a cart but when we came back 10 minutes later, our cart was gone with all our good finds gone. We asked a store helper and they said that they thought it was an unused cart so they put all our stuff away: (. We found most of it back but couldn't find some things. I think this store has really good potential and this experience was theirs but also my fault.

Awesome deals and unlike other thrift shops, this place actually smells decent with great clothings. They even have designer clothings which u can pick up for a fraction of the cost at other stores!

It's always clean, staff is nice, the clothes are well organized and they have a really large stock. Can't ask for much more!

Fun old place where things used to be cheap, but now prices have gone through the roof for what they are/used to be

Very big, great selection of household goods, more womens clothes than mens but still some good finds, look for their big sales every month or so

Value for money products available here for men, women and children. If you are lucky you may get brand new / unused stuff also.
