I first had a taste of this place when a friend bought some of their tamales to a potluck party. It tasted to so good that I had to come back to dine in.

I had an amazing dine-in experience. The staff were extremely courteous and the food tasted great. I highly recommend this place!

This is my new favourite place in Mount Pleasant! I got the chicken mole tamale and it was one of the yummiest things I’ve ever had. It was fresh and flavourful and filling. The staff here you can tell care deeply about their customers and their food. They were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us some Mexican coffees while we waited which were delicious. They even have a little grocery section with some fun Mexican candy, snacks and sauces. I’m so excited to see this pop up in our neighborhood. A must try!

It was great to find an authentic tamale place with multiple vegan options in Vancouver! Staff was really friendly and live latin music made for a wonderful dine-in experience:)

Okay this place is amazing. The tamales were super freakin good and they have so many cool snacks and hot sauces for sale. Super impressed. Great addition to Main Street!

As a transplant from San Diego living in Vancouver, I have been waiting years for something like Tamaly shop to arrive! Wonderful and authentic food, great people and lovely atmosphere. Most of all, the food is amazing, thank you for being here!

I really love the tamales here. Tastes very authentic and service is always with a smile. It takes me back to Mexico and the warmth of the people that work here are so visible. Love their mole, and tried a pineapple tamales for the first time. Very interesting! Definitely love their savoury flavours for a healthy meal.

Please reconsider having live music outside your place every weekend. Its nice but for those who live nearby it's quite inconsiderate. It's very loud. Leaving as 5 stars because I wanna support the business but please please reconsider.

I’ve long been looking for a go to Mexican spot, and I’ve now found it! Mexican bowls & Tortas we’re the highlight, but I must try the tamale next time as well

Lovely little place they have here! You know it’s gonna be great Mexican cuisine when there’s live Mexican music. Food tastes like there’s lots of heart and soul. Service was great and they made sure we left with a smile:)

Great little small place that's opened up that deserves to stay, I love the conchas here they are superb. I also find their savory stuff very tasty. Love the warm feeling of the place, I come here often.

Came here with my lovely partner…first delicious tamale I’ve tried in the city. They also gave a mix of pickled and oiled vegetables on the side free of charge (not sure if there’s a name for that). Very nice decor and music inside surround the lovely staff! They also have various snacks, drinks, and groceries around the restaurant. Beautiful!

Love this place so much! Truly a treasure in this city.i’ve been here twice and the tamales are delicious, i really recommend the pork and jalapeño cheese ones! The mangonada and guac are also delicious and go great with the tamales.they also give you complimentary pickles with the tamales.and there’s a wonderful assortment of mexican candy and groceries!

first time we came they also gave us complimentary coffees at the end of our meal: ’) super sweet staff (i think family run) who really care about your experience! Also beautiful atmosphere and music and really reasonable prices! <33 highly highly recommend, come visit and support!

Lovely place with a very cozy feel. The food was delish! They have some nice custom drinks as well. I really appreciated the nopales that they mixed in with the side chiles. I will return.

Came here for my birthday lunch with some coworkers. Staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! They provided us with samples of things and the hospitality was absolutely amazing! Food was UNREAL! Wish I ordered more. They also have a bunch of authentic Mexican grocery items. Will be here often!

Came here with friends and the ladies there were so kind and helpful! Yummy tamales and they gave one of my friends a sample of the horchata and all of us a sample of a bun (without us asking!). So kind and generous. One of the ladies came out of the restaurant running after us after we left to give us each a free bottled cucumber lemon drink.
Besides the generosity, the restaurant has a very calm and welcoming atmosphere and the food came out fast and warm.

Amazing women over here at Tamaly Shop. They always look out for the mount pleasant neighbours and supply us with the tastiest street. As a construction engineer working right beside this store i always know i can grab a bite of comfort food when i'm getting stressed. Love Tamaly SHop
