Gabe played a large role in my learning throughout secondary school. His contributions to my learning helped me exceed in understanding the content of math, chemistry, and physics lessons through his efficient and effective ways of teaching.

Amazing! Gabe helped me through chem 12 and I couldn’t have done it without him! He’s so great at explaining and breaking down concepts to understand them better. As well as give out helpful work sheets and workbooks to help further explain concepts. 10/10 experience.

Gabe was extremely helpful in pre calc 12. He even took time to go over questions I had in chemistry. Every time I left the tutor session I was confident in what he taught me.

Despite the pandemic we were still able to do tutoring online. He’s a great tutor and I recommend him onwards.

I have gone to Gabe for help in Physics, Chemistry, and Pre Cal. He has been a great help in each subject. He was able to explain the concepts in a way that made them seem simple and easy to understand. If you first don’t understand a concept he is able to change the way he explains it in a number of ways until you do. He’s very patient and an outstanding tutor.

Helped me so much with Pre-Cal 12! He explained the questions very well and I was able to understand the concepts better. He’s a nice and great tutor that I recommend.

Before a planned two week long ski racing camp. Our daughter was very worried about falling too far behind in math. We decided to hire Tao Tutoring in hopes that she could learn at least some of the relevant materiel that she would be missing. Gabriel taught her an entire chapter from her workbook in just three sessions. She was left with a very good understanding of the material and was able to work through all of the during her trip without hesitation. She was really happy and proud that even after missing 2 weeks of school, she not only passed her exam with an A, maintaining her overall average. Thanks Gabriel!

In early November, I had to leave school for 2 weeks and needed help getting ahead in Pre-Calc so that I wouldn't fall behind while I was away. We went over the whole unit in 3 days and by the end of it, I felt that I was in a position to review everything on my own. When I got back from my trip, I wrote the test and did really well. If anyone is ever in the same position as I was, or just needs a little extra clarification, I would highly recommend Tao Tutoring centre.

My son has always been pretty good at math but Grade 10 Pre-calc was a real struggle for him and by Spring Break this year he was failing. The Math teacher just told me "he needs to do his homework" and my son said, "I don't have the first idea how to do my homework! " That's when I found Gabe online! He was able to fit us in right away and my son started to see him once a week. My son's confidence returned and he was so excited because he finally "got it". Gabe was able to explain in a way that he really understood. He has had about 10 sessions with Gabe and here we are at the end of the year and my son has gone from a fail, to passing the year with a strong B! Thank you Gabe, that was so worth it!

Gabe is the best! He is so kind and considerate, always making an effort to know how I am and actually listening and being engaged. I only survived Chem and Pre-Calc 12 because of this man and I always had a great experience here (shoutout to the cafe and roastery across from Burquitlam station for keeping me fed after school). All around great guy and every session has been a great confidence boost for me. I'll make sure to come and visit when I'm on break from UVIC (as long as we go to that cafe).
