Service was great, nice and friendly. They had in stock what I was looking for, for cheaper than one of the bigger shops (that I would have had to special order for).

We’ve been renting our child’s violin through Tapestry for several years. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great music store.

I was so pleased to discover this hidden gem. A couple of people recently praised it to the skies, so I went searching for it to see for myself. And search I did! It’s quite tucked away very near Long and Mcquade yet I’d never noticed it all these years.

The people working there couldn’t have been more positive, respectful, helpful and enthusiastic. It was such a treat to find this place and discover all it has to offer in the music world.

Chris gave me a great demo of a few classical guitars and explained why they sounded different. Helped me pick the right instrument. Highly recommend!

Chris was incredibly helpful in finding me the perfect case for my tenor guitar - sourcing it and then making sure it would be a good fit before I made the drive over to pick it up. It may be a smaller store but the support you get is invaluable.

Great customer service. I highly recommend Tapestry if you are looking for the shop with that “neighborhood” music store feel, but still a good selection.

I was looking for a Soprano ukulele with a bright sound. My Friend has a Córdoba soprano that has great projection and sound but it is a discontinued model. Much to my surprise Tapestry Music had the very model, marked down in price no less. Chris was so kind to put it on hold for me until I got hold of my friend to see if it was the S21 model she has. When I went back the next day a young woman helped me, my apologies I did not get your name, and she installed a strap button for me right then and there. I was also really pleased to buy a narrow ukulele strap, all other stores I have been in just have guitar straps and they are a wee bit much for a Soprano uke.

I definitely recommend Tapestry Music for your musical needs.

Excellent store, great service with personalized attention, knowledgeable staff especially Chris at front desk. They were able to repair a faulty acoustic pickup which a large chain Music store was unable to do, at a very reasonable cost. I’d lost track of them 5 yrs ago when they moved their Victoria location to their current one, an happy I found them again.

Went to Tapestry to buy a Ukulele. I have never played. I knew nothing much about Ukuleles. It is my intent to start lessons at the local senior center. Chris took great care of me. Showed me several instruments & explained their differences. I left the store thoroughly happy with the instant he helped me select. I also got a great tuning device & a handsome case. I'm sooo excited. Can't wait to start learn how to play. My Ukulele sounds amazing!

I had recently discovered this gem of a music store
on a bike ride …. Somewhat hidden off the beaten track just outside of the downtown core of Victoria.
I was please to learn that they are a full service hands on music store that’s definitely worth a visit,
I trusted them to do some delicate work on my 30 year old Larrivee guitar which in the end, the quality of the workmanship exceeded my expectations and at a very reasonable cost,

I came in to pickup a good quality guitar stand. They were the only shop that had one. I also found the model of capo id been looking for as well as the slide and picks i use. Unusual for a store to get all the details right.

I ordered a Cordoba C7-CE guitar online over the holidays. The guitar was shipped out quickly and arrived beautifully setup and in perfect condition without any marks or blemishes. The store provided communication about the setup and how to acclimatize it after shipping in very cold weather. I appreciate the great service and love my new guitar!

I didn’t know of Tapestry Music until today. And what a treat! Great, friendly service, and they had what no one in Victoria or Vancouver stores had, to my great surprise, the alaska picks that I wanted so badly, and never expected to find! They will be first on my go to list from now on.

Great product and best price in North America for my Godin XTSA. $200 cheaper than anywhere else. It was shipped no charge to the local Victoria store where I picked it up. Will do business here again!

Each time I'm there the staff is friendly (without being pushy!) and happy to answer any questions I have. There's a good selection for the size of the store, with more available online if they don't have it in store. It's a good place!
