Great food but I think management needs to step up and make sure the kitchen has sufficient supplies. At 3pm on a Saturday they were out of jackfruit and mushrooms. Someone needs to make a run to the grocery store.

Awesome spot for tacos and the like, but don't forget the cocktails as well! Clever and creative drinks on the menu with tremendous flavour. The bar is a great place to sit, eat, have a few drinks and enjoy a chat with the friendly staff!

I've been going to Taps and Tacos ever since they opened. Whether I dine in or order for take out, the food is always delicious and fresh. I love their tacos because I have the option to pick different flavors and their dulce de leche cheesecake is my favorite dessert! Highly recommended!

Must go in Vancouver - absolutely amazing food and vibes. Near the water so a great place to go before or after a stroll along the port. Great happy hour as well! Highly recommend.

Came for happy hour/late lunch and it was great! Ordered one of each taco and ranked them all against each other the chips with guac and salsa was also really tasty! Def will be back for happy hour next time I'm in the area!

I encourage you to go to the side of the restaurant and just take a peak on how the staff patio looks and the kitchen (the door is open). I wish I saw this before I decided to eat there not after…while waiting on my Uber I noticed They leave their garbage sitting by the door and one staff member was smoking and went back inside, wiped hands on his clothing and straight back to kitchen. Folks the food is bland and not worth the money. Biggest waste of money went to rehanahs roti down the street and got 3x the food for the same price. Do better folks

Amazing little place in Port Moody. Had an amazing Korean Pork Rice bowl. Did not expect to find a dish like that there, but it was great. Also a killer Coconut Margarita.

This Place has a great tacos! So much unique flavours and such fresh food! Must try their hot sauce the green one is my go to. Guava margarita is great. Loved it. Will be back

Currently my favourite burrito. I love the design of the place, staff is very pleasant as well! Chairs could be comfier but it’s not a big deal. There is quite a decent variety of tacos and burritos/bowls. The Korean bbq burrito is the best burrito I have personally had, the braised pork is very tender and juicy and the veggies fresh. Tacos! Also highly recommend their in house made hot sauces!

Do yourself a favour and order the Coconut Margarita! Ahi Tuna Bowl is my go to favourite. 5 stars all across the board!

I can't boast about this place enough. The food is the best I've ever had. Do yourself a favour and get dessert. SO worth it for either the tofu pudding or the cheesecake. We had a party of 5 and they were so accommodating with us. They even have an upstairs for more seating which I thought was really cool. The music and atmosphere was fantastic. I want to be friends with whoever made that playlist. I really can't recommend it enough. I'll be taking my husband the next chance I get.

Disappointed with the tacos, small for the price, they look way better in the pictures. Doesn’t come close to the best tacos I’ve had. I don’t know why this place would have 4.3 stars, it’s misleading.

Shockingly good. I judged this place based on the location and logo as being not authentic Mexican and probably only okay. But these were some of the best tacos I have ever had! All were great but particularly the tuna is incredible.

Great food. The only odd thing I found was, while we were waiting for our takeaway, they didn't have a space for us to sit. So, had to wait outside

Delicious tacos that were loved by everyone! The tacos were juicy and very flavourful. If you are vegetarian you can ask them to prepare your taco with jack fruit. They also have a great drink selection, margaritas are my favourite. The service was amazing, staff was friendly and mindful. Highly recommended!

Put our name down at 8pm. We didn’t get a call after an hour of waiting. We called back and was told we weren’t even on the waitlist and we would be added but it would be at least another 45 mins. Not impressed. Especially with the fact that we waited so long for nothing.

Absolutely love the tacos; Chicken, Korean bbq and braised beef! Only a 2 minute drive from our office, stopped by 5 times in a week. Definitely a must try

A Tricity gem, Tapas and Tacos in Port Moody is everything I needed today. This was a birthday lunch date and we had such a great time. The chef was able to make a couple of important modifications to my meal, while still retaining the flavor of the original dish. These fusion tacos are so fun. I'm always so excited to see what's on their menu. Their cocktails are also so good. A great place if you want fusion-style food, with a modern ambiance. The service is also great. I've been there for dinner before and I loved it, so happy I could spend my birthday lunch here this time.

Delicious tacos that were loved by everyone! Pretty much tried every taco on the menu and all got 5 stars. The margarita mixes they have for purchase are a sweet concept too - highly recommend!

I came here to try the street tacos for the first time and let me tell you something. It was AMAZING. I would come here again if it wasn’t for the route going down that steep hill. The tacos were JUICY and very flavourful, and the service was amazing even though we came to do a take out.

We had the queso fundido and tuna tacos and pork belly tacos. Great flavours. Great service!
We will return for their happy hour.

SEPT 2021- Awesome food. Great experience.slightly concerned about staff wearing clear plastic mouth shields that do not count as masks. Mandate is in effect currently. If it were not for that safety issue I would give 5 stars. Happy to return one day to change my rating to 5 stars if staff are wearing masks properly according to health guidelines.
Update in regards to owners response: with all due respect, how is an email going to change anything? The only way to resolve the issue is to have staff wear propper masks. Do not worry, your food and service is amazing, encourage mask use and health/safety concern resolved. See you soon!

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! I got a taste of the tuna taco, Korean bbq taco, pork belly taco and the chicken burrito. I've never been much of a burrito person but this place has definitely changed my mind! Everything was well seasoned and complimented the protein super well. My favourites were the tuna taco which was loaded with wakame (I've never seen an ahi tuna taco done this way before, super neat!) and the chicken burrito! I loved the bits fo fusion food that they offer. Would definitely recommend making a trip out to Port Moody to give this place a try!

My burrito cauliflower has all the cauliflower burnt-out. My first time ordering there and very disappointing

Do yourself a favour and try these tacos out. I loved the pork with the cheese on top the best, and the au jus style sauce was magical. Already looking forward to getting these again.can’t say in words how good these were, just try them out.

Food was mediocre. Tacos served in metal dog dish, beer served in tumblers, salsa watery, guacamole too salty. Ambiance was way too noisy.and wide open space was not conducive to a peaceful or relaxing meal out. Service was adequate but no masks were being used at the time (hopefully that has changed). Not recommended. Surprised by the suspiciously large number of positive reviews here. (fake reviews?)

Everything about Taps and Tacos blows my stance socks off! The service, the food, the drinks, Twin Sails Brewing on tap, the ambience, literally everything about it is fantastic. Do yourself a favor, get the Korean pork taco.

I really don’t know why this place is rated so high. I went today and ordered two tacos. Chicken and tuna. The waitress was so awesome and friendly:)

The tuna taco was flavourless slaw, tuna and a scoop of seaweed on top. All I could taste was seaweed and nothing else!

Originals cafe mexicano has way better tacos for a better price!

SO good! Got the chicken tacos and they were incredible. Tried the chorizo tacos last time and they were also amazing.

I had concerns due to unexpected closure of the restaurant and it was addressed by management. Was invited back and was happy with my experience. The food was great and our server was friendly. Appreciate Scott for acknowledging our concern and taking it seriously. Will visit again in the near future.

This place is a local gem! Delicious food every time, local beers on tap & great desserts too. It is a very small place that is quite busy so maybe call ahead to check out the line as they don’t do reservations (Covid). Just walk ins for now! They’re open for lunch and dinner service.

Gotta say, our server was amazing! (not her fault) It is too bad that myself and my work crew of four showed up for taco tuesday at 11: 30am for lunch and it took way too long to get our food. An hour and a half for tacos is crazy! The tacos were great, really great, but management has gotta employ more people.

Taco Tuesday is an amazing deal at $2.50 per street taco! Chips and guac were delicious and fresh, and decent drink selection.

Great place to eat. My girlfriend had a chicken burrito bowl which was tasty and I had a variety of different tacos. I really enjoyed the steak and the chilli chicken wasnt bad either. Overall the food was delicious! While the service was good it was a bit slow, will definitely be back!

Consistently delicious tacos. My only regret is that I didn't order more. Seriously great flavours and some creativity that sets it apart from the pack. Highly recommend the tuna. The service was great, and the place is bright, clean and trendy. Don't miss it.

We went for dinner for the first time on a Tuesday night at around 8: 30 - not a high volume time. From the time we sat down and ordered our drinks, it took 30 minutes for them to arrive to our table, our appetizer took 40. I have worked in the service industry for 12 years, in a high volume restaurant, and to me this does not meet a standard of customer service you want to portray.

Great selection of salsas and tacos. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server who was also named Karissa was fantastic!

I wanted to like this place so much. For months its been super busy but the other night we 'lucked out' and got a table. The service was friendly but slow, the food took way longer than it should have. I ordered 3 different kinds of "street tacos" but, they all tasted the same. My girlfriends also found their food to be lacking.maybe we just have high expectations for Mexican food? Nice location, good atmosphere and decent beer listing but the food was below disappointing for us.

Where to start with this fine Taco place.first off it’s tucked in on a corner, just a short walk from skytrain and close to Brewers Row.
The staff was chatty, hospitable, professional and funny. I do like to exchange quips, stories, opinions and jokes.
The food was outstanding! Fresh and delicious!
Portions are sizeable and adequately priced.
Take out is just as food as eating in
Be aware that it’s a cozy place, limited seating. So don’t be afraid to get chatty with your neighbour!
The lime chicken is so flavourful, pork makes my mouth water and the tuna! WOW

Great and mostly consistent quality tacos. My girlfriend had a custom cocktail made by one of the bar staff and she basically said it was the best smokey cocktail she’s ever had! Good local beers. The only complaint we have is the music is sometimes too loud for the atmosphere/space.

I’m not a fussy guy and never complain about foods and please accept my apologies for this review, but my wife and I tried a burrito and a couple of tacos here for the first, honesty they were all terrible! Awful taste! Very cheap materials and poor quality foods! We always liked to try something here because of the nice reviews, but surprisingly the worst food ever had!

40 minutes for 6 tacos to hit the table. Happy hour is a decent deal but they didn't have enough staff on to handle the quantity of customers. Food was slow and by the time it arrived I had to go. Shouldn't take 40 minutes for 6 tacos

I like this place, their taco is quite delicious, and the beer was awesome too. They have quite a variety of tacos, burritos and salad, and they do also have a very simple kids menu, basically a couple of items, kids Quesadilla and chicken taco, for $3 and $5 dollars respectively. If your kids are under 6, one of these two items will get them fed, which is amazing price and quality.

The restaurant is located in a pretty convenient location, you can walk here to have a quick bite or even order takeouts if you are at Rocky point. They offer a lot of local Port Moody brewed beers and they can’t go wrong with any.

The service was quick and staff was really friendly, the food was well prepared and presented as well. The seating inside is somewhat limited, but they do have a second floor which offers a little bit of additional seating. The hot sauce do pack quite a punch, and the green sauce is quite good as well.

Overall, I enjoyed the food and experience here, and will surely comeback in the future. Really nice to see Port Moody start to have these trendy restaurants.

Good place for a snack. Tacos are not very good, let's say average. At least there are soft tortillas. I think they can improve salsas. But yes I recommend the place.

Going to up my 4-star to a 5-star rating after my last trip to Taps and Tacos. The food is great - a good mix of traditional and fusion tacos, and having tried all of the tacos and a few of the other menu items, they're consistently good. The service is fantastic - very friendly an accommodating, and although our group took up quite a few seats, we were never rushed or made to feel unwelcome. Its a bit chilly in the winter - the tables right near the door get pretty drafty, but I can imagine spending a bit on time there in the warmer months!

Great spot with tasty food selections and awesome drinks. I go for some of the street tacos and some appetizers usually and have never been disappointed. Rotating taps and fun cocktails as well. Super convenient to get to from Moody Centre station!

Good food, good service, reasonable prices, walking distance from the breweries & ice-cream shop. Personally, I also like that they are basically attached to my daughter’s day-care (bright path). Overall a win.
On a mediocre note: wifey & I were finally put upstairs for a meal, and I spent part of it feeling bad that our waitress went up & down maybe 15 stairs numerous times throughout the night. She looked to be in good shape, but I had a mild guilt when she dropped in asking us how our drinks were doing. Nice view up there, which balances it out:)

Great food, even better sound system in the bathroom. Ultimate "dinner in the front, party in the back. " Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes!

I just moved to Port Moody. I eat at Taps & Tacos 2-3 times per week. It is where I have a beer during the week. They always have wonderful local craft beer on tap; I am learning so much about craft beer from the Bartenders who I have grown to know and enjoy chatting with. The tacos are good and cheap prices. They have a great happy hour from 2-5 mon-fri. 5 dollar beer and 2.50 tacos. I definitely recommend. Try the Queso Fundido!

We had a great time here. Had some lovely tacos, all were good, however particularly liked the Korean pork. Cocktails were tasty, local beers on tap and the waitress was really attentive and helpful. Wandered down to the Parkside Brewery afterwards to round off a nice evening.

Perfect ratio of queso to chips, fun atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. We tried the lime cheesecake which was very small but super tasty. The burritos look really good and I'll definitely be trying one next time I'm there.

Food was amazing; tacos/burritos. Good selection of beers and they make a great margarita. Only downside was it was very loud due to the acoustics from being surrounded by cement. Definately reccomend this place for a bite to eat.

I absolutely love coming here! Everything is amazing! I’ve almost tried every taco now. My favourite is still the Korean Pork large taco. I’ve also tried the quesadilla last night and it was fantastic!

The last couple times I’ve gone during dinner time, there was usually a wait list to get in since it’s so popular. However, there is a pretty fast turn around, so you’re never waiting too long! If so, it is worth the wait!

The Jalapeno Nachos are one of the many reasons to check this place out. Dropped in with some friends and had a great time. Slick and modern atmosphere, solid drinks and amazing service. I wish I ordered more than just nachos, I'll definately be back.
