Very cute and homey bistro. Their house recipe hot sauces are great, especially the made in house Habanero.

Yucatan prawns, pulled pork burrito, and taco salad with pulled pork were all delicious!

We'll definitely be back next time we're in Parksville.

Got take out.took my 20$ salad out and what a joke.they couldn't even give me lettuce to fill the bowl! Never again.

I've going there since they opened, never a bad meal, service excellent, and atmosphere is good.the only down side is it's too small they need to expand.but that also has its down side. I moved off island and always pop in for something to eat, always with a huge smile. Awesome food when you can get it, kinda hard to grab a bite when they close so early but it is what it is. Enchiladas are amazing their homemade sauce and hot sauces are great. Not too many mexicanish places around town, this place does a really good job.

Excellent fresh food only surpassed by great service! We have found a new favorite spot in Parksville! Enjoy!

This place has great tastes, sights, and sounds! Loved the pulled pork taco and our drinks, and the caramel brownie was the best! It’s very clean and fresh looking, and beautifully decorated. We also loved the 70’s music and friendly owners.

Unfortunately the menu has changed for the worse and thus we won’t be back, the location and the place is nice though.

Wife and I were there Wednesday the 4th of Jan. I think the tacos (beef) were really good. I'll definitely be back.

Stayed at tigh na Mara resort and got food here twice was unbelievably good not a bad thing on the menu staff super friendly

Ordered take out tacos for lunch today - one chicken and one pulled pork. Very large tacos (tortilla is around 8") compared to typical street tacos (around 5") and I was totally full from just two tacos. Very fresh and flavorful ingredients. Will order again!

Very clean, and tidy place. Food was delicious. Beers as well. The variety of hot sauces were a great touch to the meals. Would highly recommend. Glad we came across it. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Food was pretty good! I'd say amazing if I hadn't had more authentic tacos just a day before. But these still tasted good! 1 star less as we were a bit disappointed with the service from the waitress. Don't need to go into details but it definitely took away from the overall experience. Regardless, food was still great!

My friend and I found your restaurant by accident and now it is our go to restaurant and we call it OUR place. My friend just LOVES your Egg Frittata and she orders it every time we visit your restaurant. Keep up the wonderful food and service

I love this spot. The food is always wonderful. I've never even had an average meal, all my lunch choices are always absolutely delicious. Today I tried the avocado toast. Was quite simply FANTASTIC! The service always impeccable. Thank you.

One of my very favourite restaurants in Parksville! Absolutely delicious every single time by chef Rob, and Kyrtsen is always so friendly and attentive while taking care of the entire restaurant's needs. As a former hospitality worker, I appreciate their teamwork and attention to detail. We return again and again because it never disappoints!

Walked in, before we could even ask a question waitress said unfortunately we're full and walked away. Did not offer to let us put a name down and wait for a table, did not ask if we wanted anything to go. It was our first visit here as the food looked great but an unfortunate experience.

The best food in Parksville.

The Tiramisu is possibly the best In we’ve had at any restaurant in in BC.

Great service. Nice place to sit outside. Great location. Nice beer on tap. What I've realized about the ratings of restaurants in Parksville generally is that they seem to be a bit high. Taste had solid, basic fare, but was ironically short on the thing for which it's a named: taste. Totally edible, just not lip smacking yummy. Good not great. A 3.5.

Have gotten lunch here for myself and my co-workers on several occasions. Great service, food is delicious every time.

First time trying Taste Cafe and i will definitely be back. Great prices and such tasty food. I ordered take out and it was ready in 20 mins with little wait time. Support local!

Taste is my favourite small intimate cafe in Parksville. Jason and Krista are a wonderful couple who make you feel welcome whenever you dine.

Food is very good. Mostly sandwiches. Soup of the day and s couple of salads. Bar service available. Noon very busy so it is best to get there at 11: 30 am. Small seating area. Some outside seating. Check it out.

This is a cute little bistro. We stumbled upon it when another venue was over crowded. The waitress is lovely. The food came out quickly and was very good.

New to town from a fast paced city. Was looking for a calm, quiet place to eat after a long move from out East. What an amazing atmosphere. Great staff, amazing food. Cozy. My family and I will be back for sure. Thank you.

The husband (chef), wife (waitress) combo is very friendly. The food hasn’t disappointed. And I’m pretty sure there are desserts but I’m always too stuffed to check them out.

Excellent food and service. Their seafood chowder and fish tacos are spot on! Great place for a lunch or light dinner.

Wonderful experience in this quaint little eatery and cafe. Situated of the main highway within one of the many resorts, makes it a true gem of a find.

The staff was super friendly, the food was quick and delicious, and the handmade desserts are wonderful. Not to mention it also contains a great little specialty coffee bar for all your pick me up needs.

Putting this on my list for go to spots for a quick light lunch. Can't wait for my next visit to Taste.

A quaint and quiet bistro with great selection lunch menu. Service is great and when they have a special dinner event, the food quality is exceptional.
