Good eggplant and tofu. Kind service. They fill up the container. I look forward to trying the other dishes. *thumbs up*

I was already there for take-out so took out a few dishes despite my better judgement. Should have give more weight to the critical reviews.
The beef black pepper was extremely chewy and not tasty, thin noodles blad, sweet and sour pork was just OK but didn't seem like a healthy choice.
At least no one got sick.
Sorry, not coming back.

Excellent successor to the great Kent’s - the fish is delicious, cheap and serviced politely. Cash only, and get more than you think you want! So good

Rehear microwave rice.
Cold food not fresh.
Choice fresh protein items is more money.
Woman gives rude service she quickly grabs my money when I pay.
$10.99 for rice with 2 items not with meat.
My reheat rice with cold fish was $12.00

I will not ever come back here for food!

Just what we need in Chinatown, classic fast food done reasonably well and for a reasonable price. $11 for a rice and 2 items will fill anyone up. Minus one point for sweet and sour pork was on the bland side, the sauce was ok but the pork itself had no flavour and was like eating a ball of flour. The curry beef looked decent as well.

Take out only and you only get a fork.

Clean, food’s pretty good. Price is very affordable. No seating but good take out food. Only thing they need is a spoon

Read the reviews here and went to check it out when I was in Chinatown. I asked what food items were and pointed to 3 dishes. Old woman behind the counter was rude and annoyed and responded "pork" every time. If you don't want people asking questions then display the names of food you're serving. Food did not look fresh and I won't be back.

This location used to be Kent’s Kitchen in Vancouver Chinatown. The new owner wanted to serve the community with quality Chinese food at reasonable prices. I believe they achieved it. Today is my first time here and bought some Chinese dishes for tonight’s dinner. I was surprised to see how much they served for my order. Unlike some other places that provide mediocre quantity or just fill it to the container. Tantos Kitchen staff filled my order above the container. I like it. Service was excellent as well. Food quality is excellent too! Tantos Kitchen also serve ice cream. All foods are take out only so bring your own bag.

A new cheap Chinese takeout joint to replace Kent's Kitchen in the same spot. Lots of selection and very inexpensive

They have great portions. 2 items and noodles or fries rice for $11-12. Also now they have 25 cent arcade game and $1 claw machine game that is normally $2-5 everywhere else.saw a lady spend $25 and she got a pile of toys.she was a pro.or the machines really easy.my new place to pick up some quick cheap food and play some games for half an hour. They have tablets, cell phones, wallets, shoes, and some interesting collector items.funko pops and canucks figures, boxes of pokemon packs and toys
Better than any other claw machine I played and this one is easier. The good can't beat for around $12.would be $18 to $22 anywhere else.and better than the food court at the malls

Full disclosure, I only tried the tofu pudding. It was good for a very affordable price. Personally I like it sweeter, but for $2.50 there's virtually nothing cheaper! I'm so glad they're here post Kent's kitchen.

If you're craving some American-Chinese food, the 2 items combo for $10.50 is probably the best value you can get in the downtown area. It was a little difficult to order as there are no labels on the food items. I came prepared with cash reading the other comments but was surprised that they also take AMEX and other credit cards.

I’m very glad to see that there is a replacement for the previous business in this location, Kent’s Kitchen. They are a reasonable facsimile for the former business and carrying on the tradition of good food in good quantity for reasonable pricing. The choices are still plentiful enough but not quite the depth of choice as what was offered by Kent’s Kitchen….

Since they have reopened they have jacked up there prices. The days of $10 meal are over. You can go to a resturant and pay the same.
