Wanna give a huge shout out to Eric at TBC, had a situation and this man went above and beyond and made our experience fantastic. The staff overall were exceptional! Had a blast 10/10, would go again!
Dirty place, they don’t sanitize the helmets which is very standard minim care, bad service, the go karts didn’t feel sturdy. There was one nice guy at the track so props to him.
It was really fun and employees were good too. Must go there and hope you enjoy your ride. One thing which was not good to me was less duration for one race.
I've been through ups and downs but I've been coming here for 10 years now. And TBC has come a long way and grew as a indoor kart racing track. Not in terms of size but the structure and alot of things have improved. One day the suits shall come back.
The tracking system was down so the competitive ones among us didn’t get to see their rankings. But the cars were super fast the staff were really nice and fun. We had a blast.
Make sure to make a reservation before coming. I walk in for the monthly ride that came with the membership, however sometimes they are just fully booked.
Went here for a friends birthday, it was a blast! The four of us had two private races, it was $47 each per person, which is kinda pricey for my income level but worth it for how much we enjoyed ourselves! These karts are fast and take some skill to drive, the track gets tight in places too which makes it all the more fun! Can’t wait to go back!
Great Cars amazing track friendly staff the cars are very fast and handle perfectly The track is perfect with hard and easy turns I highly recommend this place for gokarting
I've been coming here as a kid from Willingdon Church since 2007. The venue is really nice. The atmosphere just gives off the "racer" vibes.
When I came again in 2018, they were pretty strict, which was good considering the danger of this sport.
However, when I came yesterday, the staff seemed pretty chill too, and really kind! But I realized they were a bit too chill to the point where they didn't give flags when they were supposed to.
Someone in our group was driving a 10km/h speed and 5-6 people were stuck behind her including me. I glanced at the staff to see if they were gonna use the blue flag, but they were chatting and not even looking at the track.
When we finally passed her, the race was almost over. So I had to make up the time by passing. By accident, I got scraped up against the wall. I looked back to the staff, and they were still chatting.
I'm kinda having mixed feelings. I don't really mind that the staff didn't give flags, since they weren't as strict as the staff 4 years ago. But the competitive side of me was frustrated because the racers in front the slow driver all got top 3.
Maybe please pay attention to the track and help the customers have the best time possible? That's all I would like to see fixed. (and the drumsticks on the Taiko machine)
Everything was great other than the rule explaining.would have been nice to know it was time trial and not having to be stuck behind someone every lap or so.
If i could i would give this place 0 stars.customer service wasn’t the greatest, didn’t even watch a safety video, was told to go grab my helmet and go through the doors to the track.the place doesn’t have ventilation for the fumes.did two races and my boyfriend and i have a headache.i’d rather spend my money at fast track indoor karting.they have great customer service and much better go karting experience.
This was super fun. The track was a bit compressed.would have loved a tracked that's stretched out a bit longer, but is still a lot of fun and the karts are soo fast!
I came here with my wife and some friends and we have a amazing time. Our favourite go kart facility. *** Big plus - this company is PRO-CHOICE and doesn’t discriminate. You do not need p.o. V ***
Really fun and great for group friends activities. However we went during the winter season so our hands got red and cold easily which was painful. Other than that it was really great.
$70 for 1 hour of racing but around 20 minutes of it was yellow flagged because they kept pulling people off the track that payed for less race time. Very unorganized system that doesn't allow you to race fully from start to finish. I do not recommend going here unless they are willing to compensate for lost time (which they were not)
Today is December 1,2021. Now it’s 15 weeks, 105 days after the accident on August 17. I am an experienced karting driver in TBC. When I wrote this review, my left shoulder and neck still pain, and there were terrible noises inside my shoulders and back. That day, I was T-Boned by a lady when I turned into the corner #6. She just tried to play bumper car and hit me at a speed around 30km/h. My car was forced to turn 90 degrees and move horizontally 2m away suddenly. When the accident happened, those TBC employees did not do anything. They seem unprofessional, they just thought crash into the barrier of tires is the big issue. That night, my back ribs bruised, so I sent an email to Billy, the general manager of TBC, and explained the situation. Next day, I went there and showed him the GoPro video of the crash. Maybe the pain in my body was not fully shows up at the time. Billy thought my injury was a minor injury, then he taught me that I should drive slowly. The people have families and I should not drive so aggressively. But here is the problem. Although I drove faster, I never hit to anyone else. But the injured person was me. I am the only child of my family, and I have just turned 26 this year, and my family is pinning their hopes on me. Don’t I deserve sympathy when I got hit? I also reported the unprofessional behavior from those TBC employees to Billy, and the reply to me was the steering wheel was not in their hands, so they were not control for the accident. In fact, they were just seeing the accident happened, but they did not do anything, even didn’t warning that lady. I feel extremely disappointed. Those employees have problem to allocate different level of racers. I purchased 5 races that day, and they forced me to pause, and waiting for that terrible lady join the game. After the hit, Billy only promised to give me the next free race as compensation, which does not help anything for my pain. Today, 100 days later, the pain and abnormal noise still exist. From those 100 days, I am full of despair in life. Will the terrible noise accompany with me throughout my life? I worry about my future every day. I took as many medical advice as I could, I went to Physiology, Chiropractor, Register Massage, try to relieve my pain. I use my own experience to tell everyone that driving karting must take cautious. TBC, it is really a sad place.
Ghetto lobby. Unfriendly, unwelcoming, and lazy staff. Paid for two races, but they stacked the races back to back without a break in between, essentially an endurance race which we did not enjoy, because the fumes made us super nauseated and sick. Spend your money at Speeders, where the staff are actually friendly, competent, organized, and super accommodating.
Could seriously work on their organization though. Booked days ahead for 12: 00 and had to wait outside for 10 minutes because the employee showed up late to open the building. After orientation we had to wait a further 20 minutes for the carts to be warmed up. Booked for and expected to start at 12: 00 but tarted at 12: 45. Kind of blew it TBC.
Fantastic track and karts. They put alot of effort into maintaining the karts and it shows. Highly recommend if your looking for a competitive experience.
My family came to visit so we could all have a friendly competition, we went and registered our names. At about the time everything was done, the system went down, so we have to re- register again. During the time, we asked for help, but the employee working there was not very helpful and just gave us paper to register by writing. We were waiting so long, and the people after us came and finished the registration because the lady help them to register into the system. We were shocked and we felt as if the experience was truly unfair, so we decided to cancel. It took us so long and my baby is crying. Me and my family were extremely disappointing about our visit. I would've given this a zero star, but then I wouldn't be able to post this review to let people know.
I’m a fat guy (240lbs) and my record is 25.8 seconds in TBC. I think this is an awesome place for true kart lovers. The track is fun and there’s always room for me to improve. The track record is like 24.8 seconds.
I think the place is improving. It gets new karts and even have an app now.
The price for all karting places are high (tbc, speeders, FastTrack). It is an expensive sport overall.
I didn't like it here. A bit of this is just personal preference. Ended up racing just against my daughter so kind of boring. I feel like they could do a better job planning the track to put groups together. Paid for 2 sessions and they just ran them back to back. So 2 people on the track 2 sessions back to back. Kind of a big yawn.
It is tons of fun. Even though there some things I don't like, it never has or will prevent me from going there time and time again.
It is fun but there are a few problems. For starters, it is pricey if you aren't a member, you have to rent a helmet separately, and if you want to participate in their weekly endurance race, you need a lap time of 27 seconds or better. The problem with the 27 second lap time, is if to are over 180 lb (80 kg) it is not possible to get a good enough time to do the endurance race.
Awesome track! The carts RIP and they drift like crazy. The staff is really cool aswell! I've been to all go cart tracks and this is hands down the best one.
A fun-filled experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to wear gloves during winters. I gave up after the 7th lap, I couldn't drive anymore as hands were freezing. Also you will get a good shoulders workout with all turning and maneuvering.
It was my first time go-karting and it was super fun! My partner and I did two races - 7 minutes per round, we were so tired after our back to back races. Would definitely recommend to take a break in between if it's your first time. The venue was very safe, the people who work there are constantly checking to make sure no one is hurt. Super Covid friendly with disposable head mask, and facial mask is required at all times.
Staff was super rude, aggressive specially the lady on counter, gave wrong results and we were told to get buy and get 1 race free but they only allowed us 1 race. Wont suggest anyone to visit
SO much fun! I go here with my friends all the time and a great place to take a date to, lets you see their competitive side and very relaxing atmosphere
Great place for go Kart. Always have an amazing time here! Wish the tracks were longer though. Some of the karts are slower than others. I guess you just have to try your luck. Amazing deals on certain days of the week.
We came down from Whistler with 20 staff for a Go-Kart Staff party. On the recommendation of a friend we chose TBC for a Go-Kart Staff party. This was the perfect recommendation! We have had 23 years of staff parties and this was by far the most fun we have ever had. Everyone at TBC was awesome and great to deal with. The track was amazing and every single one of us had a blast. The Karts were fast, the track was fun, and our track staff guy was great. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend TBC to anyone who wants to feel the race experience and have a ton of fun with their friends!
The carts are super fun, they’re open late and not too sketchy, but.
We bought two six minute races, assuming we’d have two separate races with a break in between. Instead without telling us they put us in one 12 minute race to save time as another big group had pulled in, which isn’t nearly as fun as two separate races.
All they had to do is ask us if we minded doing two consecutive races but they didnt
Poorly run did not tell customers they were doing multiple races and short changed on remaining races because they failed to mention supposed to stay in cars so they stopped races mid way and stuffed is back in for short race at full price.soo disappointed will not recommend
Staff didn’t explain races where not split u. Are three races where just combined into one big race not allowing us to have are cake and open presents for my birthday.staff lady was extremely sassy and claimed she told us when she clearly did not. When someone slipped out and needed accistnace in getting back to racing workers didn’t run yet walked slowly and didn’t recognize we had stopped. I am very disappointed in the staffs performance but the carts are decent. Felt bad we didn’t get to have are drinks and take are two breaks between races unclear instructions didn’t like it. - sincerely rabbit teeth
Loved it to every bit. Had so much fun in Go-Karting. Would definitely recommend this place specially by using the Groupon deal! Also, it's preferred to reserve your place in advance due to the race timings.
The carts are fast and they aren't too strict with the no bumping rules. I went with my whole family and everyone had a lot of fun. The only downside is that some people just do not know how to drive.
Honestly one of the best times I've ever had. It's faster than you might imagine and if you really pin it around the corners you can get some crazy sideways action.
Great Track, Fast Sturdy Gas Powered cars. You can actually safely pass other karts as track is pretty wide at some points. Overall really good experience with good prices. They have deals Every Sunday and Tuesday along with student rates during Summer Monday thru Thursday. Definitely 5 star experience
