Over 15 of us waited
in line for 20 minutes around 1pm. Only one salter was working. People are
too slow and unorganized here. I do not recommend that you go and open an account

A horrible, horrible dehumanizing experience with a staff that couldn't have cared less about my crisis. 3 incidents where I really needed the service I pay for every month with banking fees.
Went to another TD and within 10 minutes I was assured they would help and they followed through. This branch (Davie @ Burrard) and their staff is the only reason I'm still with TD.

I’ve met with advisor Teresa Jhong a few times now and my experience with her has been great. She always patiently answers all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend meeting her for your banking needs!

I was skeptical visiting this branch to open my account as a Newcomer because of the bad reviews. But, I was really impressed by the service. Brenda went above and beyond and explained, answered my questions and also helped setting up my new accounts and my Credit Card. Definitely glad I visited this branch and got my account opened.

By reading the reviews it seems like everyone has similar issues with this branch.

Would not recommend at all dealing with
Sogol the Branch Manger, very rude and disrespectful. Makes everything very difficult.

Remember before COVID when you could deposit money into a bank machine without it even being open? Ya, doesn’t happen at this location anymore. It’s Never open and not convenient which is unfortunate because it’s the closest TD to me. Since when can people not deposit cash into their accounts over a long weekend? Oh ya since TD has succumbed to COVID 19 in 2023.

The way to serve and help customers is extremely bad, the attitude is too bad with customers who need help, the hostile attitude towards customers like customers is a crime. Employees named Aryan and BreuLa talk to customers It's too bad. I hope the leaders of TD bank will reconsider their service. I think after this I will go to another bank. I have a business but they treat me so badly here. My unlucky day to meet them

Loyal TD customer here and this is far the worst branch ever. It is downtown so obviously it’s a busier location however no matter what time you come, there is clearly a lineup and only one teller working.

TD is known for its customer service and clients are short
On time so
They should really hire more people or have more than one teller on shift!

I attended the branch to make an adjustment on my account and was told "it cannot be done" by the manager without any explanation. I ended up speaking to a representative over the phone and made the adjustment to my account.

Had zero problems here. Rating 5 stars accordingly.
Went on a Friday afternoon, no lineups. Guy at the front was very welcoming. Bank teller was very helpful.

The staff are always very polite, efficient & helpful - I have never had a negative experience at this branch.
My only criticism is that their ATM machines are not the best

This bank is by far the worst bank on the planet. After being a loyal member of TD for 15 years with much of my investments and savings in this bank, the lady at this branch had the audacity to question my employer, my job and payment stubs. Her job is to deposit checks, not question my income like a police officer. I had the same job with the same cheques for over 6 years. She kept asking me what I do, what this company is and told me my cheques have a hold for 7 days for clearance.not only that, she kept scrolling in ALL my accounts and had me standing there for 25 minute. I honestly felt like she violating my account privacy and looking at every transaction and question me when it was not her authority to do so. This is PRIVATE info and I am not obligated to share any of my personal business. Meanwhile I had a one inch stack of paper from my employer showing her these are my payment cheques from my employer. Every other bank does not do this, except this one. I hope this women gets fired. All the people who work there are amateurs, brainless and have zero critical thinking skills. Fake nice to your face "how is your day, what do you have plans later" and then accuse my cheques as "suspicious" pay stubs. If I see this same women I will make sure I speak to the manager and continue to complain about her until she gets fired. I felt I was being racially discriminated as I have never had anyone question me in such condescension.

***update, so I checked my account and it turns out th.e bank teller intentionally froze my interact e-transfer disabling me to send money.
I am an independently successful person and this type of treatment is absolutely uncalled for. To further waste my time, I have been on hold with customer service for 1 hours and will waste more of my time going into the branch to complain to the manager. I have been a td bank member for 15 years and this type of service is 100% unacceptable

Sometimes they don't count bills exactly, so be careful. Even though the teller apologize it, you would still feel uncomfortable. I brought $4000 today, but she counted $3700, and then machine counted $3900. Which one is right? Still I feel uncomfortable.
You should certainly look at counting bills by machine. And don't trust this bank's tellers.

Rarely a wait to access live tellers, ATM ii s easily accessible with strollers and wheelchairs.

This is the slowest TD I have been to in Vancouver. I waited 30 minutes when there were only two people before me, on a day with two tellers and a front manager. If you think your time is valuable, please do yourself a favor visit another branch.

I have to shop for another bank. It was my favourite for 20 years. Not anymore. Each time I feel like new customer. Now, because of long weekend they are going to hold my cheque for 11 days. The manager is useless and I saw her for the first time. The staff is rotating to often and you couldn’t build any relationships with the branch anymore.

I know that banks are horrible beasts - I get it. But when they hold cheques and then graciously 'release' a little of YOUR OWN MONEY it's time we stood up to them. They don't deal with fraud - they just inconvenience the average person instead. This review is a big FU to what used to be my favourite bank. Now I have to shop for another one.

Called this branch to ask what documents are needed to open an account and if they can do it today. The guy says something too fast that they are fully booked today and then started talking to someone else and disconnects the phone. Wow really? I had no idea something like this would happen.

They never answer the phone. Called maybe 15 times over a 3 week period, and got voicemail every time.

For the sake of clarity, this review is for this branch only. My experience with TD over the last few decades has been generally okay to good.

In brief, their teller service is usually alright. However, their staff dealing with mortgages - dismal. Avoid this branch for anything even slightly complex, unless you're prepared to level things up to HQ to get everything they get wrong fixed.

Lots of people get mad at banks when they can't get exactly what they want, no matter the reason. This usually isn't the bank's fault, but leads to a lot of negative reviews. I've been dealing with this specific branch for 14+ years and have 5 corporate bank account with them. They've always gone out of the way to be helpful and certainly have the best hours anywhere. I've never heard or seen a staff member treat anyone rudely, though I have certainly seen them take abuse from customers who couldn't get what they needed. Are they perfect? No, no one is. But I'd say they are one of the best around and will have my company business for years to come.
