I drove a friend there and waited outside. It was a payday and it was busy however I didn't wait very long for my friend to be done.

I rarely rate things 1 star. I went in without the TD bank card, had 3 pieces of government ID, nexus, and showed access to the online banking portal and they still wouldn't help write a draft from a joint account with my family that we needed to write to the lawyers for my parents purchase of a home.

Manager was smug, obnoxious and outright rude and seemed to be uninterested in helping my family and I.

For everyone else reading this, go to the surrounding different banks/Credit Union in the surrounding area, I would imagine other places will treat you with at least some semblance of respect.

I would recommend the general public not to use this location at all. No reply from this location will change my mind, what's done is done. Save yourself time!

Today I had the worst experience at this bank. I went in for a letter stating I didn’t hold funds/assets here and was asked why several times when I didn’t want to disclose why. The manager came over in her loud voice so everyone could hear what was happening asking me why. I told her for the ministry. I needed to prove assets in order for them to pay for my fathers cremation who passed unexpectedly 5 days ago. A little compassion and understanding and maybe talking quieter would go along way so everyone in the bank (about 15 people in line) didn’t need to hear what was going on in my personal life. I didn’t plan to break down in the middle of a bank today with so many people witnessing it but I guess that’s what happens. This woman should not be a manager. Given the sensitivity of what was happening a manager shouldn’t come off aggressive and rude and should come from a place of compassion and understand this is what was being asked for. She could have taken me to a room and seen what she could do for me but this lady couldn’t be bothered. Feeling quiet embarrassed and shamed right now.

I had a great experience at TD bank Yale road branch the other day. I was waiting for my turn in the queue. The beautiful lady named Deeksha waved me for my turn. I went at the counter. She greeted me with a beautiful smile and within few minutes she solved all my queries.

This branch judge you based on your account balance. If you have low balance they see you as nothing. I took a draft from my CIBC business account to them and they said need to put on hold. Told them.never had any issues in past.have deposited plenty of drafts with bigger amount then this. At this manager said your account is in over draft and couple of NFS's. I said that is why I am bringing in money from other acct to this. And Draft is a proof of that.

Her answer was. "draft is just a piece of paper doesnt prove that you have funds in other acct"

Will never bank with TD. 11 years personal banking, 4 years of business banking and just once company account went into negative and this is how they treat. No understanding, no empathy, and above all attitude and judgement by rolling over eyes.

Good thing I am moving account to cibc.

Have had great luck figuring out any banking with my app and come here to get help whenever needed. Staff have always been awesome at helping and are very friendly
