I went into this branch on a Monday at 1: 30pm to make a deposit and ask some questions (I never got to ask these questions). When I got there, there was one trainee teller working alongside the branch manager, and another random employee helping out at one of the side desks. There was three people in line when I got there. The person at the front of the line needed something that required the bank staff to go into the back room, and because they were so short, they could not do this for over twelve minutes. At no point in the wait did any of the bank teller or management staff apologize for the wait, and when I brought it up to them (sternly, but politely) ("Excuse me, would it be ok to acknowledge the 12 people in line and let us know you'll only be a few more minutes? ") the branch manager snapped back at me. "WE NEED TO GET US DOLLARS FOR THIS GUY! " - The guest she was pointing at looked absolutely embarrassed at this, and people started leaving the line. To top it all off, when I DID get served, the other staff member who "helped" me at the side desk was also incredibly snippy and actually miscounted my deposit, which I only noticed a few days later when I checked my balance on my app. I had to call TD to inquire about the error. They stated that the bank is usually supposed to call clients when errors like this happened. I am not pissed that I had to wait, I am pissed that I was not acknowledged in the slightest in the 12 minutes I waited, and that once I spoke up, again - politely, the BRANCH MANAGER of all people snapped back at me. I have been with TD for 23 years and never had such a poor experience as this at TD.

This branch appears to be unhelpful. One of their lady staff members, potentially the manager of this branch, exhibits an extremely rude attitude. The advice she provided appears to show a lack of concern for customers. Additionally, they had mentioned that they would contact me again, but I haven't received any calls from them. Never return to this bank

Been a TD Customer for years. This branch has been great. Staff are very thorough and helpful. Were able to deal with all my questions and accounts/payments. Thanks.

This branch is by far the best branch I've visited ever! Christine and Veronica were so helpful, went above and beyond to help me with a very stressful wire transfer to Mexico. They were patient and genuinely wanted to help resolve the issue I was challenged with. Everything turned out perfect in the end after lots of complications. Thanks to this incredible team! They should know how they had a huge impact on my day. Thanks.

This branch has the worst customer service. If you call you will never get through, the hours are terrible and they barely have financial advisors working. Better to use a different branch such as the 6th St.location in New Westminster as your home branch.

WORST experience! Employee I dealt with doesn’t know how to do her job well, and there is no attention to customer service. I previously had a GREAT experience at other branches. Takes numerous visits to sort out issues. Waited 40 minutes for an appointment and the advisor did not acknowledge me though a message was sent to notify her that I had arrived. I wasn’t informed what documents to bring with me, so had to then make a phone appointment for which she was 20 minutes late for (and no one notified me that she was running late). They just expect you to wait around for them? I’m here yet again (why? I don’t know. I should have learnt by now and went to another branch.) Looking to transfer products and they’re having such a hard time, I honestly think they don’t know what they are doing. They wanted me to go home and they’d contact me once they’ve figured it out. All for a simple credit card product transfer. Not sure if it’s a manager/supervisor that came to assist at some point, but if she is, I’ve never encountered such a disinterested manager! She could not care less about the service they are PAID to provide! After speaking to 3 people at the bank, and 2 people over the phone while at the branch, they eventually put me through to someone in the insurance department (as I had questions about the advertised travel benefits that come with the product I was looking to transfer to). This person gave me the “add on fee” for 21 day medical travel insurance, which was well higher (more than 20% higher) than what Pacific Blue Cross quoted me. I questioned this. Surely if I am getting insurance through my credit card, the deal should be better as it should be quoted as a “group rate” for TD clients? The lady from the insurance company basically said that “TD doesn’t have any member benefits with their insurance products”. What a joke! In the end, asked them to cancel my transfer to a new product as I’d like to look into transferring to a different bank instead. Apparently a $10 Starbucks gift card is supposed to make up for the hassle, which is insulting considering how many hours of my life they wasted.

Worst experience ever. I am with TD for a long time, and worked with other TD branches very well but this one. From the manager to employees are not professional at all. They don’t answer your calls and emails. I was there for my property tax payment. Not only they forgot to file my property tax payment, the bank is asking me to pay it from my own pocket. Then Why I have my mortgage with the TD? Please don’t bother to work with this branch at all.

Just found out that I am not the only one who was provided wrong and misinformation by Twylia Clark. (1) Level 2 quotes are never free regardless of your portfolio size (800k or 1million) unless you do enough trading per quarter. (2) certain fees such as transfer fee (from another brokerage to TD) can be reimbursed if the amount is over 50k. (3) She has authority and access to check and change certain information of most applications in branch (confirmed by another TD employee), but she lied that she could not do anything in branch and said that she could get into trouble, lol, big lair detected.
Please, always VERIFY any information you heard from Twylia Clark if you ever have an appointment with her. She has been providing false information and misled her customers. I understand that she does not really care much (too ‘experienced’ and learnt that she would not get any penalty anyways by doing so unless customers escalate the incident to another level). Therefore, folks, book an appointment with another person in this branch (Maria or Lydia is all good, they are helpful and really know what they are doing and understand their job duties) or just go to the TD branch in Uptown which has a better review on average, and good luck.

Rude and stuck up staff. I've been banking with these guys since Christ was a cowboy and I arrived 401.1 minute after closing and need their help and was ignored by all the staff. That was ignorant to a long term customer!

Today I went into this branch and was assured my card would work. When trying to use the card for groceries a few minutes later it didn't so I had to go back. Then I was treated very rudely like I was a problem customer. Not going back here thanks. Also, holding checks when deposited by the machine is an inconvenience especially when the branch can't make changes to it after. Other banks don't do this and it has really complicated my last few weeks.

Maria Rahman seems slightly uneducated on credit. Telling us misinformation in both times we spoke. Disappointing to say the least, I definitely wasn't feeling confident about our chances for approval after speaking since I knew more about credit than her. (I work in finance) I'm going to continue to work with my home bank Vancity. They seem to only answer questions when they know what they're talking about rather than saying misinformation and creating confusion.

We've had some bad experiences with her
For the first appointment I thought she was just not in mood but the second time, we had an appointment at 4: 30, I called at 4 and told that i am gonna be late 10 mins, she said it's better to reschedule
I was late 5 minutes and she was not able to take us because she was preparing for the next meeting

The branch is not bad, was going to the branch for last 3 years, friendly staff but Herjaap is disappointing me again

My experience of banking at all the TD Bank branches have been positive.except this location. On several occasions, I have consistently felt un-welcomed and it seems the staff do not want my business. Is that how they want to stand out from all the other TD branches!?

The teller and manager at this bank are not very professional because, they said call me back to me after my money issue investigate by themselves but they didn't.
Money issue: cash out $1500 but reporting $1600 so my $100 gone.some where.

Terrible service, clueless staff. Zero consistency of procedures, always a lineup behind at least one irate customer who is loudly complaining about fees and charges they didn't expect or understand. Have switched banks to get away from the disaster that is TD

Normally great service but today I went in to check on a problem with my account. I got a person I've never seen before called Zlee. Told her my problem and before I could show her the problem, she had already deposited my cheque. Didn't even ask what account I wanted it in. I got mad I said I told her why I was here before I gave her anything. I asked for my balance and she gave me just the deposit amount. Then the manager walked me out because I was complaining. I called costumer service and said I've never been treated like this before. Luckily they fixed my problem over the phone. Service at this location is going downhill.

Always had a plesant banking experience in this branch. It is not crowded like other branches. You get in and out reply quick. Herjaap was very helpful and personalized our banking experience each time.

Worst branch ever!

Teller told us we cant deposit a cheque under our name.

Teller told us to go to our home branch to withdraw money from.

Teller doesnt want to release cheque hold even with clear history of good transactions

Based on years of experience, my general impression is positive. However the management should not encourage teller stuff to engage any lengthy non-business related conversation with any customer/s, especially when there is a Q.
