It is a real chore to do any in person banking here. I attended today and the line up was prohibitive. Minimum an hour wait. ATM wasn't accepting my deposit, no one bothered to inquire. So I just left. Meeting with someone from RBC tonight.

Unbelievable that we had to come in person to change our passwords to be able to access our account online and had to stand dealing with the teller on this issue for 45 minutes. While the teller was very polite, it was difficult to hear through the security glass and difficult to stand for so long when we’re in our seventy and eighties. What happened to customer service?
And…to make matters worse…had trouble with temporary passwords later at home…. TD’s customer service online is pretty poor.

Staff is pretty friendly and helpful but be prepared to wait.and wait. I do my business banking here and they don't have a dedicated teller for business customers so I end up waiting with everyone else.

How on earth A bank locked ATM area?
In my short 32 years of life I never seen a single bank locked there atm area after business hour. This is my first one and the second one happens to be the only the other Td in maple ridge.
So is this a maple ridge thing?
I had to travel all the way to Langley to be able to withdraw large numbers of cash.

Once in a while you luck out and get quick friendly service….
Not sure when it started but you have to wait in the “usual lengthy lineup” to get into your safety deposit box! I’m moving mine to RBC!

My experience at this branch was very good. The bank tellers are really nice people and accommodative. Mr. Armahn helped me with the new account setup real quick. My new account with Internet banking and debit card were ready and good to go within the same day. Thanks a lot folks!

Absolutely awful location for customer service. I have been a customer of TD since 2002 and I recently went to cash my cheque (cheques I have on file and have cashed at this location before) and I had the teller (Paige) tell me that she would not be cashing my cheque and if she did I would be waiting the 5 day business period. I informed her I had been banking with TD for 17 years and she completely dismissed me and even denied simply looking at my government issued ID as banking and personal verification. It wasn’t until I informed her and the branch manager that I was filming on my phone for social media purposes at the completely unhelpful and dismissive attitude that the TD staff were showing a 17 year customer and refusing my business and refusing to serve me with the respect and dignity that all clients are deserving and quite frankly paying service fees for. When they were aware I was filing they then cashed my work pay.

Absolutely disgusting and disrespectful staff.

Worst receptionist ever, so rude, that guy might’ve had a bad day but do your job dude. You get paid for doing that. I know why this branch has lower rate than the other ones

Went to this branch to open a TFSA account, after several days, the account was opened with me unable to access the funds which I had transferred in it. Went again and was told that there was some problem with the ‘TD waterhouse or something’ and now the account issue will be fixed, except that the same thing has happened to my father and he just figured out after 6 months that his TFSA is not working while he was sitting back that he got a good price on his stock lol.
TD doesn’t care about it’s customers anymore, I have had a pretty bad credit card experience with them too. Probably because they have a big customer base and don’t think losing a few is a problem for them.

I should’ve read all reviews before going into this branch! Don’t! Avoid it. So rude. Can’t help with anything. What a nightmare TD!

Terrible service. I have a business and need to do some banking. Waited almost an hour outside. Why aren't all the branches open with regular hours, like my business. I guess they are saving a ton of money now by doing this but doesn't care about their customers and service levels.

Today I called the branch to ask a simple question: how many people were linenning up now? Because I wanted to know if there were a lot of people and needed to wait for a long time. The representative just couldn't answer the question, she told me that every staff are busy, and I need to drive by to see how many people were linenning up. I felt less important.

Due to the Pandemic I waited outside for my turn to do my banking. The girls taking care of the customers outside were friendly and attentive. Once inside I presented a cheque that I wanted to deposit into my account. It was a fairly large cheque from one of the biggest car dealerships in town but I wasn’t too concerned because I have all of my accounts, car loan and line of credit at this branch and have never had a problem. The young teller told me it was above his limit so he would have to get an okay from his boss. When he came back he said his boss said there would have to be a hold on the cheque. I explained to him that I’d never had a hold before and it was from a reputable company in town not to mention all of my finances where here. (even with bank machine deposits I’m able to get $2000 back right away) He offered to let me speak to his boss so I did. She didn’t seem to care nor would she call the bank that the cheque was as written from to verify it as she said “they don’t do that anymore”. I tried to explain to her that I needed the money that evening for another financial commitment but she wouldn’t budge. I was disgusted that they didn’t even seem to care about my situation whatsoever so I asked for the branch manager. He come out to talk to me and his body language spoke volumes. I could tell that he was irritated and didn’t care what my situation was. He had no intention on helping me. He told me to take the cheque to the bank that it was written from which, if anyone knows about banking, there is no way a financial institution is going to cash a substantial cheque for a non client. I told him that and he just shrugged his shoulders and said “oh well, we’re holding it”. I asked for the cheque back and told him that I was going to call the business that wrote it to see if they could maybe wire the funds to me. As it was the end of the day and they were closing early I didn’t want to get locked out so I told him I wasn’t leaving until I made the call. His exact words to me were “well we’re closing in 1 minute”. His tone was grumpy and he couldn’t have been less helpful if he tried he was more concerned with locking the doors then helping a customer who was in a situation. I have never been spoken to like that at this branch not to mention I felt like I wasn’t even remotely valued as a customer. The branch manager lacks people skills big time!

We asked for an appointment for business direct investing account. They booked us with a young lad and found out we were booked for TFSA investing.
This was the third time it has happened with this branch, 2 times prior there were issues with wrong bookings, and work being incomplete.
So we made a fuss and the person dealing with us went to his manager to resolve issues.
And wow, then we understood why this branch is so incompetent.
This assistant manager had no conflict resolution skills, in fact he was very skillful at being arrogant and not being interested.
It explains their incompetence, recurrent mistakes, as arrogance and unwillingness to listen only leads to more mistakes in future.
Needless to say, we are taking our banking somewhere else.
Based on our experience multiple times, we would strongly advise to not do banking at this branch

Great hours and convenient location. Lines are usually short and fast-moving. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Never had any issues with this branch of TD and I really like their new ATMs that let you choose what bill denominations you want for the withdrawal. Been with TD for more than 20 years and always satisfied.

Ddont waste your time here. They double booked my six pm appointment and had me sit waiting for an hour before i finally walked out. They have no concept of customer service, or time management.

I only recently transferred my business to TD after being at Vancity for 20 years. I figured TD had my mortgage so I may as we’ll bank there. Boy was that a mistake! I had an e-transfer intercepted and stolen and after going through 3 steps of their fraud department I was basically told that money was not covered and I was never really given a good reason why.in fact I was told they could see where it went but they could not go get it or report that the money from that transfer was obtained fraudulently. I am flabbergasted at how ridiculous that was! Then I was told I would receive a letter on how to appeal with the ombudsman but that never came. Needless to say I have moved my mortgage to a different bank, and now the rest of my business will follow!

Great bank. I only deal with small business banking. Everything else is online, don’t need to visit a branch since e transfer came out.

The manager refused to deposit our company cheques because they were in our dba name. This issue was dealt with two months ago and we had been making deposits since then. We even had the document with us just in case, but the manager would not lift a finger to help us and did not seem to care at all. What’s the point of having a manager. Tellers are hit and miss.
