An Incredible Experience!
WOW! Where to start? In the Fall of 2021, after failing to find the strata home of our dreams in Victoria, we decided to relocate to the Oceanside area. Charlie searched on-line and discovered Craig Bay Seaside Village, just south of Parksville. That October we took a drive to look around, and as soon as we drove in, it was love at first sight! Thus began an 18-month wait for our dream home. We knew we needed the help of a realtor with in-depth knowledge of the area, and It was our incredible good luck to find Susan Forrest from her sign on a listing. For the next 18 months she patiently sent us every patio home and townhome listing in the entire district of Oceanside, just in case something might catch our eye. In August of 2022 we sold our Victoria home, and moved into a rental in Parksville where we waited.and waited! Many coffee dates with our real estate “Dream Team” ensued over those long months of waiting, but Susan & Sherry kept our hopes and dreams alive with their boundless energy and enthusiasm. After 11 months our dream home finally appeared in Craig Bay, in April of 2023. It was a “hot” listing, and Susan & Sherry made sure we were first in line to view it. Throughout the extremely complex process of purchasing our perfect “forever home”, which had competing offers, they acted with the utmost professionalism, guiding us through the multiple intricacies of purchasing a strata property, and most importantly, supporting us through a very emotional and stressful experience. My husband found Jody Moore through a listing we were interested in. We were looking to relocate from the mainland to Parksville. We met with Jody to look at a few places and she generously offered to take us out the next day as well, as some new listings had come available.
