Worst experience. Poor quality on job they did on our garage door, they had to come back to try and fix the issue, and still never got it working properly. We were working with an unethical company, NZ builders, and have had nothing but issues with the door we paid way too much money for them to repair (including rip off project management fees).

Cam was excellent and informative. I always knew my garage had some strange construction features and his solutions for fitting a new door would also correct some of those features.

My garage door torsion spring had broken on Christmas Eve and I was about to head out of town that week. I called around and Tedford was able to come that day and replace my coils. Fast, friendly, professional service. Thanks for great service!

After the spring on our garage door broke at the beginning to back to back winter storms (right before Christmas) we reached out to schedule an emergency service to get access to our garage. Tedford Doors went far above and beyond to get the work done ahead of the second storm, and by working late. Jason, the owner, came out to our place personally to get us back in business the night before the next big winter storm. Incredibly friendly staff, great service, and very reasonably priced work to boot!

In an era when customer service seems to have taken a backseat, the folks at Tedford Doors have clearly, bucked that trend. I’ve never written a customer review before but absolutely wanted to recommend them if you need service or repair for your garage door.

Great overall experience with Tedford! I called with a non-emergency fix on my garage door and they were able to fit me in the next day. The technician showed up on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The technician assessed the situation and provided options and their honest recommendation for my situation. Made the repairs quickly and went over everything. I would definitely give Tedford a call if I ever have garage door needs again and would 100% recommend them to anyone!

In 2 hours, the technician from Tedford Overhead Doors removed our 30-year old garage door opener and replaced it with a modern new system. Now my wife and I each get text message alerts, with video, whenever the door opens or closes. And the new system is remarkably quiet, although some of the credit for that goes to the technician who suggested replacing our old metal rollers with sealed-bearing rollers. The new system also has a built-in battery so that we can open and close the door during a power outage. I only wish that our old opener had broken down sooner. Tedford Overhead Doors will definitely be getting recommendations from us.

Despite the displeasure to realise I’ve been slightly overusing my garage door for the stock component it had at purchase a few years ago, I was given a clear debrief on what was wrong with each worn out pieces. I was given proper time to reflect, no pressure, an awesome service by the technician, and a price I believe was good. The work was completed in a short amount of time too, and the technician showed on time, which was convenient to minimise impacts on my own work schedule

August 29,2021 - My experience with Avery was very positive. He responded to our need within a reasonable time and thoroughly explained what was wrong and what we needed to do to repair this gate.

Our garage door broke in the morning and they had somebody out to look at in the afternoon. It did take time for the specialty spring to come in but they installed it quickly and all is well. Impressive service.

Telford did a good, neat, professional job installing a new garage door opener. All questions we had were answered and service was prompt, friendly and helpful. We had used them before and definitely would do so again.

If you own/manage/work in a high volume logistics or any other related warehouse setting, Tedfords Canadian Door Institute Certified technicians will get your most 'popular' loading dock back up without slowing you down any more than is absolutely necessary. These guys don't 'milk the clock'. Which can make all the difference for any shipper/receiver whos jobs ARE tight deadlines. The boys know your struggle, and they're right in it with you. You can always count on them.

Residential installers are, as well, neat and efficient. Delivering a simple, easy to understand end user experience (even for those not mechanically adept, crucial care and maintenance instructions are straight forward) to go along with sharp looking and flawlessly functional final installed products.

The sales staff are a bit pushy.

JK. These are veterans of the industry who will answer any questions you have (for as long as it takes) until you are confident in your purchase. Whether it's a single Re and Re to add curbside value and appeal to your recently posted for sale property. Or your contract for the tilt-up warehouse set to be occupied by the new Amazon affiliate.that is, obviously, weeks behind.and you still have 42 high traffic, high volume bays that require computer integrated, high speed powered, full vertical lift insulated units. Because the warehouse is also going to be temperature controlled. Aaaaaand GO!

We have since moved and needed to entirely replace a garage door. Once again we received stellar service and a stunning product.

They had a wide selection of available doors presented by a knowledgable salesman. There was a delay in delivery due to a slowdown in the supply chain but, when it was delivered and installed, they did a great job and the door looks fantastic. I would've given 5 stars but they failed to warn us about the delay until I called them a month after the expected date.

I am totally impressed with the work and service that Randy provided when he came to fix my garage door. He is so knowledgeable and provided me advice on the purchase of a new door

I called the number that was on-line and automatically got someone on the other end. They were able to squeeze me in that day, which was great news. The service tech was running a bit late so the office called to confirm that I was still able to have him come over but at a later time. Overall I would highly recommend this company.

Got an estimate from Tedford that was so high ($4500 to replace two damaged panels) that I went to another company for an estimate and it was HALF! ($2200)
Considering both Tedford and the other company use the same manufacturer for their materials I found the quote from Tedford to be downright thievery. Disgusting

Very disappointed with this company. First they charged $95 for an emergency visit when our garage door spring broke and then did not have a replacement spring so it appears that this charge was for an estimate. This estimate was so overblown and was 40% higher than the company we went with. If we had gone ahead we would have payed close to $1000 to replace the springs. An internet search indicated the average cost to be 250-350 including labour. Sure does not leave me with a good feeling foe Telford. Suggest getting competitive quotes before you go with this company.

A little slow on getting the information I requested. The person I was dealing with went on summer vacation the day after my request, so I guess that is to be accepted. My past experiences with Tedford Doors have all been very good.

Matt was very well spoken and knowledgeable. He turned my dogs breakfast in to a working delight. He made my nightmare go bye bye.

The technician arrived within the window we were given. He problem solved why one of the garage doors was not opening using the keypad. The rollers in 6 garages were replaced. He was friendly, professional and informative.

The response from Tedford was very quick and helpful. I am getting new doors to be installed and this will be in a few months but the estimate and walking through the process was stellar. The technician that can to measure made some on the spot improvements to manage the current doors until the new ones can be installed. Professional and personable.

Outstanding! Woke up on a Saturday to a broken spring on my garage door. Booked an online appointment for the same day and received a return email within minutes. Scheduled an appointment for the same day. Appreciated Jordan who let me know that an appointment on Saturday would be more expensive regardless I decided to keep the same day appointment. Our garage door opening decided to call it quits after 22 years. Tedford sent Gordon Koraj over, and he installed a new opener, checked all the rollers and settings to be sure everything worked well, all while observing all the necessary COVID protocalls. We are very happy with the service.

I have been extremely pleased with the quality of service I get from Tedford Overhead Doors & Gates. The company had installed and maintained the garage door system for previous owners of my house so I opted to try them out - to my benefit! The technician, Jamie, who made both service calls was professional, friendly, and informative. I'll be calling them the next time my garage door needs some TLC.

The joyful phone eticate you receive when calling their office is delightful. They even send you a notification when your technician/sales person is on their way to you, similar to a food delivery service.

Our Door's wireless receiver died on us Friday.a quick call and some amazing customer service later we had an appointment booked for the following monday. The tech was on time, courteous, to the point and diagnosed the issue within a few minutes. We opted to replace the main unit and could not be happier. The new unit is easily more than half as quiet as the old unit. Job site was left immaculately clean. Reasonably priced as well. This is our second service we have had from Tedford Doors and would hire them in a heart beat again. Well done.

Aug 12,2020 - Our regular scheduled maintenance had been missed, and one of our gates was starting to act up, so when I called the office I spoke with both Jenn and Caitlin. They apologized for the oversight and sent someone out immediately to look after the issue. I know how hectic summer is and how easy it can be to overlook an appointment. I am not saying these guys have a bad service, but they weren’t not able to fix my garage door which was acting erratically and could not figure it out after 3 visits, mind you, they did not charge us for the last visit!

We recently called Tedford doors to make an appointment for a garage door repair. We were impressed with the text and email confirmation of the appointment. Jason B arrived to repair the broken spring and was experienced, knowledgeable; friendly and efficient with his time. The door was fixed to our satisfaction and now runs smoothly again.
