Excellent service from the team at Tecky. Fixed my MacBook even though it was a bit of a pain - still fixed it at a very reasonable price too! Highly suggest them!

After my printer failed to print, I sent Teky an email over the weekend with a view to contacting them by phone when their office opened on Monday. I immediately received an email from Jeff Wright suggesting I check out an article he linked. With the article I was able to get my printer working again. I was, and am, extremely impressed.

These guys do what they do very well and live up to their commitments. I would comfortably recommend them for anyone with a computer challenge needing to be solved.

Brought my 10 year old laptop in this week after speaking with service tech Logan to ask whether they might be able to replace a cooling fan in it. I related that my laptop was overheating and I was getting a message that my system fan was not working properly. He was very positive and optimistic which encouraged me to bring it by. After confirming the problem in a system message upon start up, he proceeded to efficiently take it apart, and once the fan was visible tried to power on again - and the fan worked! He said sometimes that just happens, then proceeded to unplug the fan to blow it clean and re-apply some thermal paste before putting it all back together. Logan seemed very knowlegable, proficient, was excellent to deal with, and I appreciated the preventative maintenance measures. The only reason for 4 stars for this company is that I feel $100 was a little too much for what was done. My invoice said half of that was for "shop diagnostic" but that really only consisted of confirming what I already related in a test start-up message. That is a lot different than someone bringing in a non-working computer and saying they have no idea what is wrong with it. Perhaps there should be a bit of a scale on the "diagnosis" charge. Still very happy that I didn't have to buy and wait for a part to be shipped though so thank you Logan!

Visited London Drugs, Duncan 3 times with my computer not charging. After no solution, they washed their hands of me.visited Teky, within 5 minutes it was determined my charge cord needed replacing. A 15.00 fix. Thanks so much guys!

Excellent service and reasonable prices

I've been keeping a 2010 MacBook Pro on life support for several years.

It's reaching the absolute end of its usefulness soon though. So I'm shopping for a new computer.

Many people have given me advice but I'm not comfortable doing my shopping online. I prefer to develop relationships with experts who I trust to give me the best advice.

When I was living in Toronto, I had the same camera salesman for 28 years, the same travel agency for 26 years, and the same butcher for 23 years.

I've been going to Teky Technical Services Inc. For 2 years so far to purchase parts and for advice for a couple of years now. I've always found them courteous and efficient and to provide excellent service.

They've given me excellent advice every time. I'm currently discussing my next major computer purchase with them and they are very patient about the complexity and frequency of my questions.

I appreciate them a great deal and recommend them highly.

Incredible Service
Made an appointment for service May 01,2023 Teky (Jeff) arrived at our home on time Looking professional and was pleasant. The task was to wipe clean one older Mac (for recycle) and put that joint information on two newer Mac's, one for me and one for my wife. We also needed a new Printer/scanner (he brought, a Brother Printer and installed it). All went with out a hitch. The fact that he came to the house within a couple of days of making the appointment in itself was awesome, he was pleasant and did everything we required making our experience a pleasant one. Could not be happier! Keep up the great work.

Nice people but when I recently went there with a new HP laptop and my two other devices to sync them they dabbed a few buttons to show me different things but then told me that my iPad and iPhone were not compatible with the HP which is a Mac. I am 75 years old and know nothing at all about technology so it seemed a little excessive to pay $100 for a 20 minute visit to find out what I thought I do was not possible.so as I say, very pleasant but definitely not worth the cost.
