My phone does not use an Internet plan, but Telus has added a data blocking fee of 5 bucks to me since the end of last year. I called customer service for feedback, but they all said that they have a lot of work to do to provide data blocking. Yes, I really didn’t expect them to tell such a low-level lie. From then on, the monthly bill amounts were inconsistent. I had to call customer service every month to report billing issues to them. It took a long time to wait and communicate with them. Each call lasted more than an hour, and my phone only had a call limit of 300 minutes per month. In this way, more than an hour of calls were spent communicating with them about billing issues. This continued for half a year, causing constant trouble to me. At last I decided to leave the phone company I had used for more than 20 years. Why bother letting the simple mobile phone charges continue to cause me trouble.

Had door to door promoters harass me at my home yesterday. I found a complaint online from one year ago where someone else had the exact same experience at the same time of day even. I called to complain and they didn't really take any info from me, they just asked if they can help with something else. They did confirm they were actual Telus people and not scammers or a third party promoter, but I'm not sure they actually filled my complaint.

They will rip you off.
I had a tv/internet bundle, I changed my home internet to business. They kept charging me for the home internet every month and double billing me. I called and emailed all the time, they would say sorry and they would fix it and credit the account. They didn't and went on for 12 months. When they finally did fix the problem, they only credited me 8 months and told me it was my fault, because I should have checked my bill. Since there is only 3 cell companies and 2 cable companies. The companies can behave any way they want. Consumers don't have a choice. They have the politicians paid off and in their pockets.

Do not trust this company. We got scammed by Inder. We went to the Vancouver Home Show. He promised us these bundles to switch over to Telus. When we did, the worst mistake ever. So many extra charges and false promises. We tried to contact him but he does not reply to our inquiries. Until now we are left hanging. Beware! Choose Shaw if I were you.

Dealing with Bobbie earlier today from the call centre was such a treat! A really sweet lady who went the extra mile with ensuring my services, address, date/time, etc…. She ensured everything was cared for before the call was ended. She was not pushy with sales. Anytime I have dealt with Telus in over the past year has been nothing but professional. Anytime I have a disconnect, move, reconnect, billing correction or any IT help you’re always there for whatever I need whenever I need it & professionally, so much patience as well & never any long waits on hold. Thank you for your exemplary service today Bobbie! (I couldn’t be happier to be with Telus in addition to a 2nd Rogers outage last week too)

Not sure where to actually write this review. Wally, the solution advisor, is very professional and knowledgeable. He's very good at installation stuffs. Offer me many options to choose with caring. This guy is a diamond in Telus!

Yesterday I called the telus company to ask about the bill. I was received by a lady named Jelina. Thank you very much for her warm help! Help me answer and solve the problem in a timely and effective manner! During this call, Jelina was very patient, friendly, careful and professional, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks again!

I've always been a huge Telus supporter, but honestly their customer service has gone way downhill. No longer people over profits, and no wonder their CRTC complaints have escalated dramatically.

Recently, out of nowhere their hardware started blocking GRE protocol, their tech support cannot even run tcpdump, problem is on their side, not mine, and I told them that when I simply connect my laptop to another internet service provider GRE works just fine, but they are so bad that they cannot even troubleshoot their hardware
There is no way, and no workflow to report them their bugs and issues, they just do not care about those!
And I am really tired of their phone calls trying to up sell me their special offers
But the main reason why I’ll be switching to another ISP is their incompetence. Hello! Your hardware does not work the way it’s supposed to! Fix it!

I bought a new iphone 11 pro max from Telus that was reported stolen before Telus mailed it to me. I’ve spent a week on the phone with different departments at Telus and going to a Telus store and still they are unable to help me. How much longer do I have to wait for Telus to fix internal problems before I can use my new phone? My number has already been ported to Telus and I’m being charged for service I cannot use. Very dissatisfied right now and regret giving Telus my business.

Persistent knocking on front/back doors to buy internet, cable, home & cell phone plans. Tell them I'm under contract w/Shaw & Rogers but ignores me & continues high pressure sell into cancelling my contract w/Shaw & Rogers. I called TELUS to tell them to stop coming but a couple months later same thing. They don't care, listen so stay away from TELUS! If business is actually good they don't need to resort to high pressure door to door tactics
