Worst teppanyaki experience ever!
We just finished the worst teppanyaki dinner we have ever had. We always make a point while on vacation to have a fun show-dinner. This was by far the worst. We had a way better experience at a 3.5 star Puerto Vallarta resort.
Food was tasteless. Steak was tough and chewy. We were rushed from sit down to departure. 40 minutes on the generous side from drink order to bill in hand. This place is way too expensive for what they are delivering.
Chef was silent and sweating in our food as he cooked it.
We could not get out of there fast enough, I even left most of a beer on the table which I never do!

Fit a large party in last minute and treated us great.
The staff was attentive and had willingness to help.
The food was cooked in front of you hot and delicious. The portion size was a lot less then a lot of other similar style restaurants but still good.

Worst teppanyaki restaurant!

The service was awful, the waitress did not want to be working and had zero customer service skills. They wanted you in and out as soon as possible but of course, expected a big tip.
They didn't even let you finish your food and you already had the bill in front of you.

Everything was way overpriced, tasteless and not worth it at all. I've been to many teppanyaki places and this one is the worst so far. If you wanted the rice prepared in front of you, it would've been an extra charge, something that's always included in every single other teppanyaki restaurant I've been.

The chef was very friendly but still not worth the over $180 CAD dollars for 2 people for less than 40 minutes.

I definitely do not recomend this place. Safe your money and go to any other restaurant in Whistler. It would be cheaper and I'm sure it will taste better.

Loved this restaurant. Our cook was so fun and funny and cooked our food perfectly! When we didn't like the wine, the server took it back and brought us a different bottle. It was a great dining experience and we will definitely go back!

Ordered seafood, cooked perfectly by chef Sasha- everything was on point, including Sasha's warm, energetic enthusiasm and skills.

Very good food, pricey but it's what do you expect here. Our cook was good, might have been an off day for him. Better signage for this location is my main critique. Overall good experience.

This was a good teppanyaki experience! Our server was very nice and always answered questions from the table. I thought the plates were a bit small for all the food you get, so I kept scarfing away to make room for the next portion being cooked.

Do NOT get the garlic butter rice. It was OVERWHELMINGLY garlicy. I love garlic, but it was EXTREMELY garlicy. I can't overstate it enough. It was a lot of garlic.

Nothing stood out here opposed to others like it, but it was a good meal. Would I come back, perhaps not, but it is worth a visit.

Be sure to add the spicy mayo to your sushi. Great service. I’m vegetarian, I’d recommend the mushrooms steak

Really fun experience. Chef Sasha was excellent, with both good conversation and cooking skills. They have hot sake and traditional Japanese beers in addition to the common meal options.

Food was delicious, service was average. Waitress was very pushy to get us out and the atmosphere didn’t feel very hospitable.

Poor service, small portions, underwhelming food and pretty expensive. Server forgot items, forgot to bring us our bill after waiting 40 minutes we had to find a different server to help us.

Great value, fun experience very good food. Not much more to say, overall an excellent experience. We had the village platter and the tofu steak, the mushrooms with the Tofu were outstanding.

In a word: fabulous! Loved every minute of our experience here. Very entertaining for our young grandchildren. Food was good and atmosphere was excellent.

Horrible place.they take $25 for reservation.we were 20 minutes late.they gave our place to someone else.promised that we will be sitting in 20 minutes.it was more than 1 hour
ruined our evening.we will never go to this place anymore

What a memorable night out with amazing food! We had the teppanyaki ‘signature’ set menu with meat, chicken, prawns and scallops.this choice also comes miso soup, vegetables & rice so theRe is lots of food! You can also order separate dishes so flexible for all.they also catered for our vegan & gluten free family - lots of options for both

Booked for a family of 4 on New Year’s Eve 2022 for 10pm hoping we’d enjoy the evening and see in the new year! I’ve enjoyed teppanyaki in various countries but not here. It was rushed from start to finish. All over in less than an hour and that’s being generous. Chef couldn’t finish any quicker and very little entertainment. Food was low quality, lacking taste and vegetables were awful / soft! So disappointed that we booked Tanaka in Waikiki on the way home 09.01.23 and that was perfect again as been before. Nearly 2 hours at the table, fully entertained and fantastic food! A world away from our terrible NYE experience! Never again at Teppan Village and an expensive waste of money! It was just getting as many people through the door and back out than customer satisfaction! Rubbish!
