Texx Big Burger

To night about an hour ago I ordered a double bacon cheese burger with fries via Skip the Dishes. The driver got lost and arrived about 10 minutes late. Then he got out and opened trunk. My two paper bags were sitting in a big cardboard box - no warming bag to be seen.

Burger was completely soggy and not hot just kinda warm but fries were cold. So I hopped in my truck and drove the 10 minutes to Tex burger and told them what happened and Peter, the owner, came through with my ask for a new burger. He didn’t have to, and I was going to walk out quietly if he didn’t, but he very graciously agreed to do so. There is a vein of humility in this man.

Great neighborhood burger joint.

Burgers are well cooked, with generous toppings you can choose from - bonus, the toppings are all included in the cost of the burger! Fries are sold separately, but are excellent, and come in huge portions. One order of fries is probably enough for 3-4 people.

The hot dog is a big favourite with the kids, and is well made as well. The chicken strips are also excellent and are nice and juicy.

Prices are all very reasonable as well. Probably the best burger joint in Surrey!

The burgers and homestyle fries are absolutely the best here on the West Coast of Canada! I lived in Ontario before, where they have Chip Wagons that make the best fries there! (At least in my opinion)

It's off the beaten track. In a you should lock the car area. That said that's my only criticism. The staff are great. The food is just as good as the photos suggest. They are in the league with five guys. (Less the free peanuts). For burger lovers this is a must try. It's not a corporation or chain just a small business doing things right. They really deserve some of your burger loving attention. Take care when ordering fries a med is a pound or more of fried goodness.

Is one of best burgers around and is very reasonable for price. Two of my son's took me and first time in a long time they felt so good about burgers!

Amazingly done burgers, buns were soft and the fries were hot, crisp and perfectly salted. Just be careful as the medium sized fries can feed 4+. Great Burger!

I stopped in for lunch before dinner with my family and I didn’t eat dinner. I got the texx big burger with like 3 3oz patties and barely finished it! I eat a lot so for me to barely digest this says something! The beef and ingredients were delicious and one of the best burgers I’ve had!

Best burger hands down. I make the trip from Vancouver for this. Any friend I took there makes it a habit to visit again.

This place is amazing! The beef burgers are to die for! Easily the best place if you want the best Beef burgers in town! I’m a regular and I always get treated with the utmost respect and customer service. No one even comes close to their beef burgers. However their chicken patty burgers are very sub par. Felt as if I can make the same at home or better. A few of my close friends go here and they have said the same thing. But nonetheless this place is still amazing and their small portion size for their fries is like 4x5 large fries at Macdonalds. Definitely try it out!

Never been to this place I went to see what the hype was about. It definitely lived up to the hype. Simple menu, food comes faster then I thought. Men and women's washroom. Napkin dispenser at the table. I was in heaven people lol I kept it simple had a normal sized burger because my Sherpa was on vacation, I didn't have him there to help me climb the mountain of a burger they also offer

Love this place. Freshly made burgers with your choice of toppings. The fries are plentiful and I've never been hungry after eating Texx Big Burger. If your haven't tried, give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!

I keep forgetting about this place (even tho I see the stickers on the back of street signs everywhere in Surrey lol), and I forgot how good these burgers are! Easily hands down my new favorite, definitely worth a visit. Glad my buddy suggested it the other day and we popped in, made my week!

You choose your base burger and add toppings lots to choose from been going here for years when I am in the area. They moved love the new location

Best Poutine ever! And a size medium is huge! I will be a returning customer cause I love poutines and been looking for decent one, and I found a great one! Love the gravy and cheese curds, don't need anything else.coming back for large / extra large, Yum!

This restaurant's name says it all. Texx has big traditional hamburgers filled with juicy patties, flavour, bacon, and fresh veggies.

Very delicious big burgers, with all the toppings you desire, regular size fries are huge, more than I can eat in one sitting.

I live in Richmond.and dad & I had to come out that way and few friends have told me this was a must try place so we did today for lunch.wow what a burger and the fries too.
Dad had a single bacon burger and I had bacon cheese burger we both had the sauteed onions and mushrooms and regular condiments. The burger tasted like a beef burger should and fries super fresh and Hugh, regular fries enough for two people maybe even three (huge) basically paper lunch bag half full. If your in Whally area this is must must try place and owner so nice even gave dad a quick tour of his.kitchen.

Texx Big Burger is one of the best burger restaurants I’ve ever been to! They have delicious burgers with homemade fries. The menus are great and the pictures are fun to look at. The fries come in large paper bags and they’re so delicious! Order the small because it’s actually very big. This is a must-go if you’re in the Guildford area.

I've only been here 3 times each visit the food was delicious 5 stars. The service was top notch another 5 stars. Last visit, my burger wasn't exactly how I wanted & they offered to fix it with no hesitation. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
On another note, I absolutely love how the owner responds to stupid ppl leaving bad reviews for no good reason. Good job

The reviews are Justified. Fantastic bacon double cheeseburger. You're definitely going to want to eat it in the wrapper it comes in because it's going to make a mess.
Fair warning the medium poutine was absolutely massive and there was zero chance I could finish it after finishing the burger.

Location has moved temporarily - about 5 minutes from the original location.
Food was great, poutine had lots of cheese and the burger was big and tasty.
You can customize your burger with about a dozen optional toppings including fried onions and/or mushrooms.
They have a lot of burger options to satisfy chicken/beef/bacon cravings and in a variety of sizes. They have a challenge burger that I'm pretty sure contains about 3-4lbs of meat so if you are really hungry they got you covered.
They serve Adam's soda and Jones soda in their drink fountain - awesome.
Owner was really personable and serves a quality product.
Burgers are a bit more expensive than fast food but the quality is miles ahead.
If you like burgers and fries then you really can't go wrong trying this place out. Do yourself a favor the next time you want fast food, fatburger, five guys etc - go here instead. Support local and get a better meal.

Great tasting burger and fries. I thought it would only come in one bag but they give you two fully filled bags of food with a single order. The fries are fresh unlike chain restaurants and the burger is huge and tasty. Also I like how they let you choose your toppings. I will go back there soon.

I love supporting smaller restaurants especially during hard times, and this place is such a local gem! The two chefs are so friendly and even double checked your order while making it to make sure you get what you want. Food is delicious and service is fast! Thank you!

Best burgers around. If you order the fries, only order one as it's enough to feed more than two people. I am going to try the Poutine on my next visit

Boy this burger hit the spot, that’s for sure. Also you get to choose your own toppings it’s like a personalized a slice of heaven. Highly recommend, you also get a bag of fries as big as your head. Pretty awesome.

Oh my goodness. Decided to try a new place tonight. So glad we did. This place is incredible. Awesome burgers, awesome fries, and even better service. If you like great burgers and great people, you HAVE TO try this place. No matter where you are coming from in the Lower Mainland, it's worth the drive. Hands down, our new favourite burger joint. Food was really good, staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, prices were good. It took about 20 mins to get our burgers and fries (one other person was ahead of us) but that was the only downside. I have never eaten a burger from a fast food restaurant and would never eat one from McDonald's for example. I'm very picky and worried about what's in the food. I only eat gourmet burgers (Red Robins, The Keg etc) so this was really "slumming it" for me. My boyfriend talked me into trying it and I don't regret it. It was really good. And I was very excited to see they have Jones soda on tap! I've never seen that before.

Way to expensive for a burger. You order the burger and EVERYRHING IS EXTRA. So it can get really high priced.

Amazing can't remember a better burger! Better than home cooked and the fries are fresh cut you see them cutting them in the kitchen really great beef too they also have a food challenge I didn't do that but I got a burger and fries definitely my go to place for burgers!

I always love finding unique restaurants that are little hidden gems. This hole-in-the-wall of a restaurant is it fantastic locally owned business.

They offer Weis large portions relative to the amount of money that you spend. The food is delicious and we'll fill you every time. When we were there we had both the chicken and the beef burgers. Chicken burgers were good however you may I want to add more sauce. I would give them a three and a half out of five. The real star of the show was the beef burger. It was extremely tender and flavorful and was very filling. They also have a bag of fries that use very substantial for the price that you pay.

O M G. Burger Heaven, unbelievable quality, size and so many different Burgers to choose from. You get a order sheet.fill out what you want on your pesonally designed monster burger.my mouth is watering just recollecting my thoughts into words. OH YEAH.the smallest order of home fries is enough to feed 3 or 4 people. Jones pops on the fountain and this Draft Coke is to die for. Most of these Burgers are Heart Attacks waiting to happen. But what a way to go.
If you love good old fashioned Hamburgers like the ones you got at the family bbq's then don't wait too long and head over to this blessing in disquise.

Great place! TEXX has the Best burgers in Surrey. Always friendly, clean, fast, and delicious!

Get a single TEXX mix (one chicken breast, one beef patty, bacon, and cheese), blue lemonade, their fries (where even a regular is huge), and you're set!

They gave me a wrong burger but charged me for it. When complained they didn't fix it and just gave me a bag of fries.

Great place for a burger exactly the way you want it.

Fries always seem quite greasy to me, but it's really hard to beat their burgers.

Don't think a big burger and fries for $13 is a bad price. The beef Patty's are thoroughly clocked, and still extremely juicy and flavorful.

I've attempted (and completed) the Burger Challenge, which is $40 (you get money back if you complete in 30 minutes) For 5hat price you get a HUGE burger (about 5 pounds) and a bag of fries.

I loved everything about this place and I'm sure you would too.everything is cooked fresh, so be prepared to wait for your food depending on how busy they are, but trust me it's worth it.

The burger was delicious. Definitely top ten burger wise. It’s a bit over priced. And the service is horrendous. The cashier was on her phone ignoring me standing at the till (I had never been there before so I didn’t know I had to fill out a paper then give it to her) she then slaps a piece paper down and continued to play on her phone. I asked do I just fill this out myself and she nodded. Once I finished I had to stand there a while longer after saying I was done so she could finish on her phone. Yes it was a great burger. But no I won’t be back due to lack of service.
