Great little restaurant. Had the Bun with grilled pork and spring roll, finished with a great iced coffee.
Delicious.

Change in ownership, or chef, or kitchen staff?

Just ordered bun oc. It is completely different (I.e much worse) than the bun oc I loved at Thai Luong.
The soup is bland like water. No aromatic flavor of ginger vinegar and fried shallot/ onion. So disappointed!

If you are still the same team - remember if you are not ready to sell a dish, don't sell it, don't deliver it to customers. It's not worth to grap a few dollars profit on a day but lose business in long time.

This is a small restaurant (5 tables) with a one page menu. We ordered the spring roll appetizer and a noodle dish we hadn't tried before, for two of us to share. The noodle tray came with a huge stack of vermicelli noodles, a bowl of meaty soup, and green salad. We were directed to fill our bowl with noodles, spoon meat and broth over them, and top with the greens. This was excellent! We were familiar with the Vietnamese spring rolls (aka roll dip) and these were also very good. We would visit again!

This restaurant recreates the most authentic Vietnamese noodle taste in town. It really does bring back memories of my home.

The Best Bun Oc (escargot) in town. Hanoi style grill pork vermicelli is something everyone must try

Not too many places have bun cha (grilled pork with dipping noodles) on the menu so when a friend recommended here I jumped on the chance to try it. Flavours were good, I especially liked the fattier pieces of pork. Unfortunately, mine didn’t come with a meat patty (according to my friend, hers came with some when she went) which is usually the best part! Ah well… Mine also came with a Hanoi spring roll which was really delicious.

I also tried the beef ball pho – the flavour of the broth was also good.

Good place to get some legit Northern and Southern style Vietnamese food. The menu doesn’t offer as many options as other places.

It’s family-run and the interior is no-fuss.

I’d come back for the bun cha.

The broth for the pho is so good. A good meal all around. Try this place out. A good find in Southeast Vancouver. Check it out

Small intimate place. I believe it's Northern Vietnamese. I'm Lao/Thai and this place is very similar broth style to what I am used to. It tastes like my mom's pho and I felt right at home. I will definitely be eating here when I'm home sick! Prices were good too, a bowl for under $12 including tax and tip. That's a great deal.

I will start off by saying I should have never went in. When a place has no one eating in it that should be a clue. I went in ordered soup
(as they don’t really have much choices) soup came and it was blah. I got the rare beef and beef ball soup. It had no flavour the meat was chewy the beef balls where okay. I had to put a lot of hot sauce in my soup just for some sort of flavour. The lady working kept looking at me and it made me feel really awkward. The noodles themself where good and the price was good if it was not for good noodles and price I would have given them 1 star. I don’t know if I’m picky, but I would have liked more flavour, and better meat and it would have gotten 5 stars.
