I came here on a first date. After visiting 135 restaurants and eateries in Vernon, I have slowly began expanding into Armstrong.

We came here because it's the only restaurant open in Armstrong on a Sunday.

I paid $26.46 for a quinoa burger and a beer.

I love how crispy the fries are here.

The quinoa burger had no sauce in it which made it a little dry.

Overall, I enjoyed my meal and my date here.

My server was great.

I highly recommend eating here!

Absolutely disgusted unbelievable really, used to go all the time but it has gone down big time. Today we traveled from other town after working all night, we were there for 20 mins no drinks were even taken. Then the waitress came over and was rude and interrupted me as I was saying this is unreal. Then we spoke to the manager Dylan and he was rude to and I get it was busy but that isn't our fault. I wish I got the waitress name cause wow unbelievable. Plus he didn't try to settle anything. I told him I'll will be putting on social media and he said " You would " yes I will now

The prices are higher than the food is good but its literally the only restaurant in town so whatcha gonna do I guess

Quality libations on the side of the highway in this little town. Much better than you’d expect.

Awesome never disappointed, best fish and chips on Thursdays is there special worth going to Armstrong for them!

Had a delicious steak with baked potato and salad. The food was delicious, service was awesome, thanks Sandra for the wine recommendation.

Told the staff we were outside on the patio (as the sign says). Waited outside for 15-20 minutes and nobody came by to take our order so we left.

Large open pub. Great service! Tasty food. Spotlessly clean, including the washrooms. Ample lot parking. Impressive!

Came out for dinner it was discusing notcho and steak they killed them and told us it's pre cooked outrageous my friend ate but we didn't never come back here again

When our food came it was warm. I normally have to wait for quesadillas there so hot I can’t eat them right aways & I enjoy my Caesar salad. Quesadillas didn’t taste as good as they always do. Caesar salad had so much dressing on it, it was gross. My husband had Salisbury hamburger steak with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were cold & runny & the hamburger was totally tasteless. I had no time to complain as our server Annette was so busy with big orders. She is the best server you have. Before I could really say anything I got a nasty nosebleed & had to pay & leave. Annette has no fault in this, she’s amazing. I would somehow like to be compensated for this. My 2 friends & I come in for lunch quite often & our food has always been so good.

Got an amazing lively atmosphere, clean, neat decor and friendly staff but the food is so so, the desserts are horribly disappointing.

Very nice building, decent service, food was ok. Good place to drop in for lunch or a cold bevy!

Steak was cooked as requested. Beer was cold and served in a timely manner. Service was fantastic. Glass was never empty for very long.

Had the Seafood fettuccine, it was quite good. Some others had burgers, not great, others enjoyed their meals. Service was very good by Aly.

The Anchor has always been a favourite spot, but lately it's been hit or miss. Tonight service was slow, and my salmon was so dry it was like chewing jerky. The veggies were overcooked and the cheesecake has shrunk. Others at the table were very pleased with their ribs (fall off the bone!) and Mushroom Lover's Chicken ('can't believe I ate all of it! ') though.

Had a meal, my husband had fish and chips and I had quesadilla. The service was awesome and the food was delicious. Will definitely return

Had the Salisbury steak and hubby had the steak sandwich. Salisbury steak was awesome. The steak sandwich had no appeal. Tan coloured fries, brown steak on garlic toast. No mushrooms or onions on the steak, no colour to the plate. Horrible! Lettuce and a slice of orange or tomato isn't asking for too much.
