As far as food goes, it’s one of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve ever had. The presentation is on point, texture and tastes are amazing.

But even better than the food is the staff. They are very friendly, always attentive, and crack jokes.

Great vegetarian food! Love that the entire menu is vegetarian - so many options. All time fav is the southern fried artichoke sandwich and the end of days burger.

I haven't had spaghetti Bolognese since I was a child and it really brought me comfortably back. To be able to have carbs with protein (walnuts formed the ground beef) was a real treat. Nice to see some greenery added too. Beautiful back yard patio and great service. The only thing I would add is some vegan parm and perhaps make sure the linguine isn't broken so it can spin on the spoon!

I came here with my friends for the first time. Loved this restaurant and the service. The patio seating is wonderful. We ordered fried oysters, corn ribs, poutine and southern fried artichoke sandwich. Loved their food it is delicious, especially poutine and fried oysters. Would definitely come again and try their other dishes.

The ambience was very relaxed and a great place to catch up with friends. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about their menu, super friendly and gave great recommendations without being pushy to get us to order them. Our server was also accommodating of the dietary restrictions and patient. Food was delicious and unique tasting. I wouldn’t have thought about putting the foods together but they worked so well!

I was a bit disappointed last time I visited.
The food is still really good but the portions shrank.
We had the artichoke sandwich and the mushrooms calamari - they were served in much smaller portions.

One of the finer vegetarian restaurants located in one of the less busier parts of vancouver. We were very impressed with the preparation and presentation of the appetizers and couldn’t stop ourselves from wanting to try them all especially at the good happy hours 3-6 duration. There’s a lot of attention to the details in cooking the oyester mushrooms and corn ribs both done done exceptionally. It’s very hard to go wrong with the togarashi fries, the onion rings that had a remarkable crunch and their signature artichoke sandwich. Service felt special and warm - already looking forward to our next sunny weekend in the garden at this exciting establishment offering vegetarians the varieties other restaurants can’t seem to conjure.

Loved every dish! I thought the Caesar salad was other worldly. Onion rings were proper onion rings. And the fried artichoke heart sandwich lived up to its reputation.

Found The Arbor while walking on Main St and decided to give it a try! My favourite out of all the dishes we got was the Southern Fried Artichoke Sandwich. Would come back to try more things on the menu!

Stopped by for a solo lunch the other day and received lovely and attentive service. It was a treat to eat from the hidden backyard and the server made sure that I had a shady spot on a very sunny day. Had the caesar wrap which was yummy, and yam fries which you can never go wrong with.

Decent food, and huge portions! We ordered two starters and a main and couldn’t finish.cute back garden patio.

My husband and I went for lunch there for "Happy hour meal, it incluides an Burger and a beer for $20 dollars, my husband asked for pountine instead of just fríes for his burger.the poutine was pretty small porción not even 10 pieces of fries.anyways the total was $63 dolars, Super expensive and didn't get the price of Happy hour. The waiter was having only 2 tables, didn't want to tell us the real price of the poutine to lazy to go ans ask about it, I still gave tips to the thief waiter feeling sorry of how miserable they salary must be to be ripping people off.umbelieble they charge so much money so such little portion for fast food looking and taste. DONT LET THIS PLACE VEGETARIAN MAKE YOU THINK IS QUALITY ON FOOD OR SERVICE.

Chill, small vegetarian restaurant with vegan/gf options. White, light-coloured wood, gold, plants vibe. One of the best veggie burgers I've ever eaten (End of Days burger). Nice salads as well. Service was kind of slow even though it was mid-afternoon on a weekday. I presume this is because they take time and care in the kitchen, and there was only one server working. Will return.

Delicious food, thoughtfully picked wine list and great staff. Loved the special cinco de mayo menu. Looking forward to spending some time on the patio soon.

Food was good either your vegetarian or not, cause I wasn’t, but I think I like their sandwiches are better than the other main option for the dine out

If we could have Arbors on every corner, now that would be a magical world to live in.

There aren’t too many vegan franchise companies out there…but I feel like the future for it is near.

One day we’ll see vegan restaurant chains everywhere (just like the big fast food chains). It’s happening, Old world is leaving and the New World is being ushered in. Whoop whoop.

I think if I could offer any suggestions, it would be to double the size of the space, and to add more tech lol (8k screens, LEDs, self ordering screens, VR gaming in some corner).

It’s a sister restaurant of Acorn so you know you’re getting quality vegetarian dishes!

We started off with fried oyster mushrooms which were fantastic - crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The main course was fried artichoke sandwich which I must say was better than most meat-based sandwiches! We ordered a side of fries as well and I think the ketchup was home-made because it definitely wasn’t store bought.

The waiter was also very friendly and the patio has a very nice vibe. We will definitely be visiting again and I highly recommend that if you’re ever in the neighborhood, you give them a chance: D

We had the onion rings and cauliflower as appetizers, they were absolutely delicious. I am not a vegetarian but I had the BBQ burger and it tasted just like a real meat burger. Staff was really friendly and fast too.

We love the arbour! So many gluten free options! Tonight, I had the mushroom risotto with chanterelle mushrooms. It was amazing. I tried the non-alcoholic gin & tonic, which was a nice break for my liver during this festive holiday season. I can also attest to their cocktails.

I'm going to be fully honest here, I have been here's 3 times and although I want to I can't stop myself ordering the same thing. Because hot diggity their fried Artichoke sandwich is sooooo good. But also it's a cool place, good atmosphere, local, and vegitarian so still gets 5/5 even though I've only had one dish. Also to those sceptical meat eaters, HI! I'm one of you too but do yourself a favor and go here! Totally worth the lack of meat and let's be honest probably more healthy for you to.

Thought I was vegan, but sadly, this place supports and serves cruel dairy products here. What a huge SHAME. Won't be going back. Dairy is needless and cruel.

This is a hidden gem! They also have a backyard garden! Food and service are great! We finished everything!

Nice, cozy Vegetarian restaurant on Main Street. Easy access and parking nearby. The food is really good, tasty. Went with my best friend and we both loved our food choices. She had the Artichoke Sandwich which she said wad delicious. I had the End of days burger, yummy! The patty was moist, the cherry tomatoes jam is simply delicious and the Vegetarian cheese they use is wonderful, melts well and taste good! Portions are very good and very reasonably priced as well as their drinks. Staff is nice and friendly, very attentive. Kudos to Eve, Hola Eva! Such nice girl, took care of us, knows the menu really well, and offers advice as to what goes well with what!
My only complaint and the reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the music. It was too loud. I don't mind loud music but not in a restaurant. We mentioned to another server who politely told us there was nothing he could do as he was not in charge of that, adding it was Friday night.
While I understand his position/explanation, he could at least said he would mention it to his boss/manager. Just because you are not in charge or because it is a Friday night, doesn't not make it right o the reason for the music being so loud to the point of having to yell. It is a restaurant, not a sports bar, a pub or a dance club.

Food was pretty good and service was amazing. I'm just not a big fan of vegan burger, but for those people that are vegetarian and vegan I think its a great option.

The pasta we had was a little too sour. I wouldn't order that again.

Superb. The restaurant is clean and modern. The staff are amazing, attentive and charismatic. The food has big portions and options for both myself and my vegan partner. I had the artichoke sandwich and it was super yummy. My partner had the pasta and it was also fresh and wonderful. We left full and satisfied. Food was unique. Prices were also very reasonable. Would 100% recommend. Only regret was not saving room for dessert

We ate here last week. The service was not bad and the food was generally good. The only complaint we really had was that the onion rings were not that crispy when the server brought them to us. Otherwise it was quite delicious!

Best plant based restaurant in Vancouver. Interesting and creative food and drink menu coupled with superb service. The patio in the back is a hidden gem! Highly recommend this establishment.

This is a very nice Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant on Main Street in Vancouver BC.

What I loved - their Vegan Caesar Salad. It was wonderful. Being allergic to eggs I have not been able to eat this salad in many years! They also serve sparkling water as a choice over regular tap water. It was very refreshing.

What was not yummy - their vegan burger patties. Way too mushy. I couldn’t eat it. It would make a great refried beans recipe, but as a burger - not good.

They are keeping very well with COVID-19 regulations and the restaurant is clean. The staff are friendly too.

Love it here, especially for drinks and snacks. The back patio is so cute and feels like a cozy backyard:) great place to bring your date

I had the kimchee burger with a vegan patty. It was pretty amazing. The patty was really special, had a hearty, homemade feel. The kimchee was delicious and really made the burger. The homemade pickles were crunchy, although could have been a bit more vinegary. The bun was beautiful, but would be improved with toasting. It was so messy I ate it with a knife and fork. So, not perfect, but still very excellent food, 5/5. Also the fries and the rocket salad were excellent. Would go again.

One of the best sandwiches (artichoke) I’ve ever had, meat, vegetarian or vegan. Even my friends who are huge carnivores say the artichoke sandwich is one of the best they’ve ever had.

So lovely, the best thing on the menu is hands down the fried artichoke sandwich. Highly recommend sitting on the back patio on a nice day.

I don't normally eat vegan/ vegetarian but this place was really good! The server was very quick to serve us and was keeping an eye onus to make sure we had what we needed and that we were enjoying the experience. The food was very good, I had the BBQ burger, harvest bowl and roasted beet + walnut Dip. I wish I had enough room for the dessert.

This place is awesome. Really small menu. Comfort vegan/vegetarian food. The poutine is to die for. Everything we have had has been really good. My only criticism is just a touch more salt would make it amazing. The service can be a little inconsistent. You either get table service or you go to the counter and order.

Had a great experience here! The staff were great the food was excellent. They had a special set menu for Valentine’s which was fantastic, as we got to try a bunch of their mains for a great price. We will be back!

Just came here for a little celebration dinner with my husband and It. Was. Delicious! The flavours were nicely balanced, lots of options, the prices are really fair, and the space is very COVID safe. Good drinks and a lovely space make for a great experience. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the food and our time there.service was quick and efficient. We had the artichoke sandwich (very good, good texture and nice kick with the jalapenos) the poutine and the burrata. Honestly the burrata alone is a good reason to go there. The flavors and textures of the cheese, chanterelles, brown butter, thyme, garlic and lemon are well balanced, it really is a delicious dish to share or eat on your own!
We also had the brownie and the mousse, both were very good and, again, the textures and flavors were well balanced with all the elements in the plate!

Great little place! Just popped in for a happy hour cocktail but the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful

Incredible Onion rings, great quality foods, all made in house. Great for vegan, vegetarian or gluten free people. Incredible chocolate mouse, be careful or your friends and family might try and steal some! Overall definitely worth the 5 stars. 10/10.

Well, the food was the bomb, but during our meal a mouse ran across the floor inside the restaurant. Definitely not a good sign. We told the waiter and there wasn't much of a care or reaction to the fact that a mouse was there. The mouse ran nicely across the room and went into the booth, so it must be living in the booth inside the restaurant. Might wanna check that out.

Does not advertise they are vegetarian, as well, not family friendly. If you have kids go somewhere else. No change tables.

Very intriguing creative vegetarian menu. I wanted to try all the items at once.eg. They have Pulled Jackfruit and fried artichoke which blows my mind.

I wish they would add something spicy to their menu. I had the classic burger. It was good but the flavors were not there.

I am curious to come back and find out what I like best.

I wanted to try this place since its a pure vegetarian restaurant but the artichoke sandwich i wanted i couldnt get unfortunately, its not served after 10pm. It doesnt make sense if its a popular item so i decided to try items from the late night menu which was recommened by the staff who had great customer service but the place was empty and now i know why.ordered the fried oysters which was a small portion for $10 overly greasy had no flavor and the dip didnt save it and the daddy flatbread which for $15 was super paper thin with barely anything on it.considering i spent $26 i didnt get my monies worth where that amount of money anywhere else i would have gotten a wayy bigger more filling meal.i will not be going again and i definitely dont recommended this place.

If you like veggies you'll love Arbor! We'll be back to taste more of the menu. Try the oyster mushroom "calamari"! And the cocktails too.

Great spot with a ton of vegetarian/vegan options. Does have a wait time typically but it's well worth it.

Highly recommend the oyster tacos, brussel sprouts and the onion rings. Their house ketchup is scrumptious and it's really what true ketchup should taste like.

I definitely recommend both this spot and the sister restaurant Acorn.

I've heard good things about this restaurant and now I can say the rumors are true! The atmosphere is light and inviting. Upon arrival we were offered a high chair and though I declined the offer it gave me the impression that families are welcome to dine here. We enjoyed the delightfully crispy oysters, breaded artichoke sandwich and mushroom stroganoff. We shared all dishes between the two of us with leftovers to enjoy for later. Service was attentive and friendly. Delightful, hearty vegetarian, feel good cuisine!

My first experience here and it was incredible! I am no stranger to vegan restaurants which is what made this place that much more special; it blew me away. The service was excellent, I believe her name was Anise? She was a doll. The gentleman who greeted us and checked on us (glasses, has tattoos) was so friendly and really charismatic. The Southern artichoke sandwich is literally die for. As for the onion rings, I think my boyfriend managed to eat one. They were outstanding. Definitely will be visiting here often.

Great prompt service. Love the artichoke sandwich and the pulled jackfruit tacos! One of my favourite go to vegetarian spots in Vancouver.

Just a wicked little restaurant. It is small, so be prepared to wait a few minutes. It’s almost entirely vegan but they have some really unique twists on a few dishes (deep friend popcorn broccoli!)

Went by myself and sat up at the bar. There’s just a great positive energy in this place. The servers are helpful & have superb advice for what to order. Would absolutely go back!

Huge disappointment.

Ive been to the Acorn multiple times, loved it and was eager to try this place since it opened. Had Brussel sprouts to start, they were ok, but kind of bland. My GF had the burger, I had the fried artichoke sandwich. Burger was nothing but salt, which was the only flavour tasted at all. A 1990s Moneys mushroom burger has more personality. The artichoke sandwich tasted of stale oil and the eggplant bacon was made with an entire bottle of liquid smoke. I had to scrape it off and even then the sandwich was inedible. Fries were the only thing that kept me from starving. 3 terrible mains and an app for 100$. Yuck. The service was good, too bad the kitchen sucked.

The food: I had the BBQ burger, which was great, besides the gluten-free bun which was chalky (to be fair, hard to avoid with gluten-free, but I've had much better). The fries and salad were both very good. I had kombucha to drink, which was average, and only a tiny glass for $6.50, which was way overpriced even for a consistently overpriced item like kombucha.

The decor: The interior was nice. One of the bathrooms didn't lock so it was awkard to see people go in, struggle with the lock, and then wait for the other washroom.

The service: OK, but pretty ineffectual. I prefer friendly, upbeat servers but to be fair, "chill" is the vibe for a Main St vegan restaurant so no shocker there.

Overall: Very good, but I'd go to Meet on Main a couple blocks away before I returned here

Super friendly staff! Amazing food. Normally not the hugest dan of artichoke, tried fried artichoke sandwich and I’m dreaming of it. So soooooo good!

I go pretty much every Tuesday for taco Tuesday. So good! Excellent food. The broccoli popcorn is insane. And omg the tacos ️

Good comfort food but I found the servers to have really bad attitudes. A few of my friends and I came to the Arbour for a change as we usually go to The Meet or Chickpea (100% BETTER SERVICE!) 2 of us were standing in the doorway as there is little room in the front and we were waiting to be seated. I saw one of the servers coming out with plates so I quickly went to move out of the way and she was so rude when she asked me to move that both me and the group I was with were shocked at her response. Our food took awhile to arrive for simple appies and sandwiches. Upon leaving I went to pay another server as she took over our table and she clearly also had issues with her attitude and job.
Safe to say if you're looking for a better experience go a couple minutes down the street to Chickpea or Meet on Main. You won't be disappointed.or feel unwelcomed.

It’s been twice now that I go there to get dinner.

I thought of giving them a second chance because I LOVE their food, but their service sucks.

First time I came in, I thought the (one and only) server had a terrible day so she acted rude and seemed unhappy doing her job, but she was the same serving me the second time and had the same rude face.

We even overheard the kitchen staff and her talking about customers as they were leaving the restaurant or complaining about their job. Hey, we’re all humans, we do so, but please turn it down a notch, we don’t know to hear that as customers. It’s very annoying.

I wouldn’t go back just because of that waitress and if ever I go back, it’ll be take out only.

It’s sad because they have good potential and during summertime their jungle patio is beautiful and so cozy.
