The Baker Hotel

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Baker. The owner, owner's dad:), and all staff were very friendly, helpful, and exceedingly wonderful all around.

The room was super-clean, large, and really pretty. And the pillows were perfect!

The location is great for dining and for strolling around Cranbrook - we didnt move our car most of the weekend.

This hotel’s staff is amazing and more than willing to assist. The location is great with access to several restaurants in the area and shops.

We were stuck at Cranbrook because of the icy road of 95 to go back to US from ski trip at panorama. We were lucky to book this hotel, the price is very reasonable, the host were very warm and generous. He provided us with an extra folding bed with no cost for the kid. Location is great at the center of the town, place is uniquely designed and very comfortable. It was a nice detour and gave us some good memories with bad unpredictable weather conditions…,

Great hotel. Rooms are comfy, tons of cool vintage furniture and decor. Staff are really friendly.

We loved our stay here! We stayed back in august and our room was great and the bathroom was beautiful! Great view of Main Street Cranbrook. The hotel has so much old school charm and fantastic staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for 3 nights as a couple. Each of the rooms are unique in this boutique Art Deco themed hotel. Our room was updated and lovely, with a king size bed, an AC unit, coffee machine and microwave. The microwave was at a built in desk space that can convert into a work desk if needed. There was plenty of hot water, and the shower head was awesome with good pressure.

Each of the staff members we met were really friendly and helpful, personable and genuine - they made our stay really enjoyable.

While there is a pub downstairs (an easy trip in the morning for breakfast, or popping in for a beer!), we found everything quieted down right on time and we had good sleep at night, no issues there. We also felt secure coming and going from the building.

We enjoyed the hotel’s and room’s decor and we also got a glimpse of the other neat rooms while they were being turned over / cleaned. Each is uniquely renovated and interesting (can see from the various photos of the ranges of the room styles).

We’ll definitely be back next time we are in Cranbrook!

An absolute gem. If ever in Cranbrook, enjoy the hospitality of the owner, Greg. You will not be disappointed! Front staff, including Jim, are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and showers are modern and have strong water pressure. Don't look anywhere further - book this place!

The staff/owners have done an amazing job! Clean, extremely comfortable and such a cool/original glory type atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. In love with bathroom style and cool overall decor

Service is good, rooms are not very big but clean. Unfortunately, there was no sound on Netflix on my TV. The location of the hotel is excellent, there are many restaurants nearby.

We had the 'banker' room and it was great! Very clean and the mattress was wonderful to sleep on. The staff are amazing. The hotel is close to some great restaurants.
