The Beach Hideaway Bed & Breakfast

The Beach Hideaway is such a great location. It’s simply fantastic and we had an amazing time. The property is so beautiful with so many places to sit and enjoy the ocean view or even directly at the private beach. Our suite was very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
The hot tub is awesome and we also enjoyed our steam shower and massage tub. John & Karell are wonderful hosts, super friendly and proactive. If you are on the Sunshine Coast, stay there - otherwise you will miss out!

We had a personal tour by the host to show us the place — when we first arrived — which was very helpful because we needed to know where the gas valve was (outside fireplace), among other useful tips for our stay.

The room itself was second to none — it’s just too bad it wasn’t sunny during our stay.

My fiancée and I booked the Sea to Sky Loft for a little getaway on Sunshine Coast and our biggest regret was that we only booked 2 nights. The location, amenities, cleanliness, and service of this B&B were one of the best we have experienced. The Sea to Sky Loft views are as advertised - you literally wake up to the ocean at your feet. The illumination of the moon at 3 in the morning is just as beautiful (see pics). They even provide binoculars for sightseeing. Now the amenities: we absolutely enjoyed the bbq on our private patio deck. We grilled and ate by our gas fire pit one night, and on the grounds by the shared hot tub the second night (luckily we were the only ones there!). Grocery stores in Sechelt are only 10 min away by car, so you can stock up on bbq ingredients easily. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you'll need (from whisky glasses down to Montreal steak spice, thanks for being so thoughtful!). Overall, the entire place was spotless. The hosts were friendly and approachable, respectful of our space, and were really intentional about making our stay special. This is the perfect spot for a couples getaway if you want to spend some time on Sunshine Coast. We'll be back for sure, next time for at least 4 nights!

Absolutely amazing weekend away, staying at the Beach Hideaway in Seachelt! We stayed in the Eagles Suite which was beautifully appointed and modern, with full kitchen, walk-in 4 person shower and spa bath. The room was lovely, but we didn't spend much time in there! There's panoramic views from your personal hot tub on the deck, private stairs down to the beach for direct access, a sauna and tonnes of scenic spots to setup and just enjoy the view. John and Karell (the owners) are lovely and have added thoughtful touches all over the property. Couldn't recommend this place more- we'll definitely be back! Make sure you book direct for the best deal too!

We should have booked 3 nights… or a week. What a peaceful wonderful getaway. We had the pleasure of staying in the Sunset Suite for two nights. The attention to detail in the suite made it feel welcoming and just like home. The hot tub at night is amazing, and having the private patio with a huge fire table was just perfect for relaxing with a drink watching the sunset.
The gigantic bathroom was amazing for a long uninterrupted bath in the coolest tub ever and then a steam shower with what seemed like never ending hot water. Big fluffy towels, bath robes and slippers were all waiting for us.
Everything was incredibly clean and the kitchenette has the cutest retro appliances that complete the over all welcoming atmosphere and decor.
The hosts are an absolute pleasure and take real pride in their property and commitment to ensuring their guests have the best visit. Walking the stairs down to the beach you are surrounded by the gorgeous gardens while looking out at the ocean. Absolutely serene and just what we needed to relax. We will definitely be going back soon!

Absolutely stunning location, incredible views, beautiful and clean accommodations, and friendly host & hostess! John and Karell are incredible people and their hidden gem “Beach Hideaway” is a must stay at location on the Sunshine Coast! Will be back!

This was our second time staying with John and Karell since they've been owners. The property is just stunning and the views. No words can describe how beautiful the views are! We have stayed in two of the suites (Sunset and Sea to Sky) since they have done renovations and the changes are stunning. You have everything you need for your stay and Karell goes out of her way to ensure you have all you need, beach towels, throws for outside, coffee, sugar, spices, pastries, yogurt, cut fruit (upon check-in) and the addition of proper kitchens in the Sunset and Eagles Suite is fantastic. It is lovely to have a BBQ and outdoor furniture. Even if it rains a little, all suites have covered places to sit outdoors still and enjoy the changing ocean scenes.
John and Karell are also extremely caring and want you to enjoy your stay, they are available for anything you need, at any time. Our last visit, our family rented all three suites, this gave our family the chance to be together and John and Karell also allowed our extended family to come over for an afternoon so we could gather together.
Highly recommend staying with John and Karell.

This place is incredible. So much more stunning that we expected via the online Photos. The property Is right on the beach. The sunset Suite has a propane fire pit overlooking the beautiful garden backyard & ocean. The hot Tub overlooks the ocean & that’s not even the half Of it. There are a set of wooden stairs that take you all the way Down to the sauna that overlooks the ocean, and a beautiful garden seating area for reading. You basically have your own private beach. The suite is beautifully renovated with sliding glass doors that overlook the ocean. It has remote blinds that open and close giving you a morning rise to the sunset Or more privacy. The bathroom has the most Amazing jacuzzi jet soaker tub & a steam shower. The host has slippers and robes as if you were at a hotel. Literally pampering at its finest.
