We came across this place to see a secret show that was cancelled last minute, but we're super thrilled to have come across this amazing creative space! The DJs at BSide radio let us crash their show and we also came across an amazing jam session hosted by Haku! We hope to visit here again next time we're in Vancouver!

We had our staff holiday party at the Beaumont Studios. An incredible non profit organisation who hold space for creators to express themselves. Not only is the space super cool but the staff are incredible too. A special mention to Martyna, Luke & Jessie who went above and beyond to make our 70’s themed party come to life. I would highly recommend holding an event here.

Good place, good concept, and good artists. However, one worker in your VR team named Suzanna grabbed my friend, yelled at them, and pointed finger at them saying stop. She also spoke ruthlessly to her coworker in front of all the other audience. Suzanna was angry because my friend tried to use the sanitizing wipe, which was provided everywhere on the set, to wipe the headset by themself.
Suzanna said that we were not allowed to do so, even though multiple employees told us it was ok. We then asked Suzanna to cleanse the headset, but she refused to do so and told us that she had wiped it already, with a piece of cloth that was on her hand all the time. Then she tried to shove the headset on my friend's face.
We were shocked.
Also, nobody mentioned this rule anywhere, so we had no idea before her snapping on us. She bossed around her co-worker about this matter in front of other visitors. Then she proceeded to her manager, trying to cast us out. Her manager then came and apologized for Suzanna's rude behavior. The manager told Suzanna it was okay. Suzanna then got into an argument with her manager as well. It was such a confusing experience. I felt extremely bad for the manager and Suzanna's co-worker.
Also, the reason why my friend wanted to clean the headset by themself was because that all employees on the set adjusted the goggles on their face before handing the goggles to the visitors without further sanitizing. It was honestly so nasty. I don't mind sharing headsets with some of my friends, but this is basically cheek to cheek with hundreds of other people.
Overall, we stayed for 10 minutes and left right after meeting Suzanna.

Our company Intuition Sports Inc.just celebrated 30 years, including one of the founders 80th Birthday's and a new product launch, in the main hall, as well as upstairs with boardgames for the kiddos. It was an unforgettable, magical event that went SO smoothly, thanks to all the help from Martyna, Carey and the rest of their crew. I highly recommend this venue! Great space, and even better people. Can't wait for the next excuse to party:)

Such an amazing experience! Went to see The Shine last Thursday WOWw incredible performances! Everything really perfect. Stephen King would be proud

This review is based entirely on the show "The Shine -Stephen King" that was at Beaumont studios. The studio itself is awesome and i have seen a comedy show there with Matt Rife, and also one of the Candlelight performances. Which is why when the tix went on sale for the scary performance, i thought it would be worth my money. It was more expensive than the other things i had seen there $60 a ticket plus fees.but i thought it would be good. Boy was i wrong. I took my boyfriend on a date night last Saturday. Upon arriving the doors were locked. A small sign was on the corner so we waited and waited until other people came. We made a makeshift line with no direction. We in fact waited outside almost until it was supposed to start at 7. You basically are brought in groups of 10 to different rooms that are supposed to be scary.and that's fine. The ticket included a couple of drinks that were really disgusting. The first one i think was just straight tequila with some ice and red dye. I think we should have been given a choice as a lot of people hate tequila.and we didn't really even drink ours. One of the rooms, which is still imprinted on my mind and not in a good way.was the cat room or "pet semetary". Where a guy in a cat outfit is pole dancing which i guess is supposed to be the "burlesque" part of it while other people dressed in cat outfits are carrying what looked like taxidermy cats and making you pet them. If there was a clear exit sign we would have left.and with spending almost $140 i feel it was a big waste of money. The scene from Carrie was entertaining and the Grady twins from the Shining were interesting but i would have rather saved myself the money and watched the movies at home.

I have had many great experiences at the Beaumont studios. Their Candlelight performances are fantastic. With that said, I was eagerly anticipating another great show; The Shine: A Stephen King themed Burlesque and cocktail bonanza.

When I arrived, there were a few confused people standing at the locked door of the studio. Nobody bothered to let anyone know what was happening, so people just started gathering in a line on the street. The door finally opened, late, and people walked into the building in small groups. That is when it got very strange.

The production includes two drinks, and no other choices were available. Judging from the other people and myself, these drinks had to be the worst tasting drinks I have ever had. It was tequila? There were many full glasses left untouched on the tables.

We stood in a small room while a clown (Pennywise) read jokes to us and then led us into a larger area. They were entertaining until they started to read the jokes to us. It was also difficult to hear them speak.

The next room was a pet cemetery. At this point it got increasingly bizarre. There were people walking around showing fake dead cats to the audience for what seemed like an eternity. It just felt very disorganized as we waited for the performance to begin.

Eventually there was a pole dancing individual that performed the burlesque part of the show. I think?

Finally, we moved to the final room and watched "Jack" also read his lines to the audience. He was entertaining but should know his lines. It would have made his performance that much better.

The remaining performances were good and that is what the whole show should have been.

I did not see any advertising that this show had a performer that is a queer, transmasculine, neurodivergent South African. I found that after digging around on the Beaumont Studios website. They were a good performer, just not my preference for a burlesque performer.

Overall, the show was misrepresented and poorly organized, with moments of clarity that were good.

It was not something I would see again.

The Beaumont is an amazing event rental space! The venue options are so unique and the courtyard is the perfect place to host an outdoor event. It's in a perfect location of the city with so much access to fun landmarks and sights of the city. We hosted our corporate event here and our team absolutely loved it. The staff is amazing, so caring and attentive to what you need to host a perfect event. Vancouver needs more places like the Beaumont to keep healthy a vibrant communities! Thanks Beaumont for making our event so special for our team!

I recently rented the Beaumont space for a big album release party and it was so great and well supported! The vibe/aesthetic is great, sound system top notch, every-single-staff member went above and beyond to accomodate us and handle things which came up on the fly! I also love how its close enough to everything that your near major transit/stores, but far enough that it kind of feels like you got the block to yourself haha.

10 out of 10 would recommend, amazing space, exceptional humans!:)

Awesome vibes! Forgot my skateboard inside during a show one night and nobody stole it. Then after emailing the studios I was able to pick it up the following day with no issues.

Went here for a sound bath. The floors creak so be careful if your event needs silence. Nice spacious room. The speakers are too loud.

Having just put on an event at Beaumont with Vivid Presents we were blown away by the venue and team. They couldn't do enough to support us and the venue is unique and has an incredible vibe!

Hidden gem of the city that really shouldn't be so hidden! Have such great events. Staff are super chill & the venue is super unique for Vancouver. Can't wait to go again for the next party!

What a cool outdoor space! I got the chance to see a comedy show here and the venue was perfect. The area was large enough to accommodate what felt like close to 100 people. The atmosphere feels similar to a campground and it sort of takes you out of being in a noisy, populous part of Vancouver.

I found the Beaumont to be just the perfect Gem of a Venue. I was there to perform as Celebrant for a Celebration of Life and it just set the perfect vibe for the farewell of a very special and beloved person. We used the outside space for the ceremony but I understand they also have an inside space for up to two hundred people. The owner was very nice and charming and I would definitely recommend this venue for any occasion.

The project that these people are working on is one that allows for self-reflection interfaction and kudos for personal growth. The people that they're helping are people that really do need help and they're telling their story. I take my hat off to the layout design and absolute professionalism of these folks. Although the parking sucks the people are amazing.

Hidden gem for venue rental. Great location, great wood floors, lighting, sound and facilities. It is too hard to find reasonable spaces in Vancouver these days. I hope they will always be busy.

LOVE. IT. HEREEEE!

So grateful for the creative, safe space to go to Synergy ectatic dance with beautiful community members for a fair price and recently met the amazing owner and one of her mascots Marshmellow in the lovely lounge area outside

Went to synergy ecstatic dance and must say it was amazing! The whole concept is great for everyone who wants to dance in a safe space. It's definitely safe space for everyone. Sound bath at the end was amazing. The only flaw is a dance floor itself. Very rough surface and paint is literally breaking up and sticking and stabbing into feet. Brought 3 big blisters because of it with me back home: (other than that beautiful space and loved exploring all the little details while dancing all around.:)

Love this artists paradise. Went to their new years event and had the time of my life. Such a huge venue, it had 3 different musical genres in 2 different buildings

Great funky spot full of interesting and talented artists. I went to a candlelight evening with Jazz in the main space of the building also which turned out to be areal musical treat
