Dr Lam has been fantastic in helping with my recovery and getting me back on track with my exercises.

Since I can, apparently, only update my review here is an updated version.

As a multiple injury, multiple condition patient, the Better Back Clinic continues to far exceed a great many of my rehabilitation care providers of the past.

From the extremely comprehensive intake program, to the full spectrum chiropractic care offered, the Better Back Clinic continues to excel in identifying and treating root causes of conditions. Their refreshing approach to modern chiropractic work includes advising patients on a wide variety of complimentary services such as discussions related to diet, exercise and lifestyle are of tangible and continuing benefit to me.

Both Doctors Gage and Lam are continuous, consummate professionals with an exceptionally compassionate, patient focussed approach. Administrative and support staff are outstanding professionals who make every visit a cheerful and efficient experience. Katharine's Day 1 wobble class and refreshers set the tone for the breadth and depth of professional and compassionate care you can expect, moving forward with this clinic.

Their wellness massage therapist, Sarah, has been an extremely helpful addition to my ongoing care. Combined with consultation with the chiropractic staff, Sarah's exceptionally honed massage techniques compliment the treatment process. She's been able to untangle knots that others have failed to even reach.

I continue to be grateful for all of their outstanding treatment and support. Thank you all, again and again.

I came to the clinic for persistent neck and shoulder pain and frequent migraines. I have had these concerns for years and have tried other treatment; none of it seemed to make any lasting changes. Since coming to the clinic, the pain has melted away and I have not had any of my previous migraines. The team at BetterBack is amazing. The chiropractors are skilled and explain every step of what they are doing. The receptionists are kind and caring and I feel very welcome in this space. I have had a long standing problem with pain in the arches of my feet, calf and hamstring due to an old sports injury that was aggravated by a car accident 2 years ago. A few sessions of shockwave therapy by Dr. Lam and some chiropractic adjustment and the positive results within a few weeks have been stunning and it’s the most pain relief I have felt in ages. Dr. Lam is great at what he does and I would highly recommend Better Back Clinic

I’ve been going for only a few weeks but so glad I came in when I did. I was in some pain and after my second visit I was feeling better than before. There is a reason why this clinic has such a high rating. Dr. Lam's approach to finding the underlining root problem with my ongoing back issues has proven to be a miracle. His approach is very tailored to each individual and doesn't follow the path of the "one size fits all" method of thinking. In the past two weeks, I have seen way more improvement in my spine mobility and reduced back pain with Dr. Lam's At Home exercises, clinic adjustments, and clinic traction, which are the first steps into my recovery program. Another unique and memorable part of this clinic is Chantelle's Wellness Massage and Kinesiology appointments. She is outstanding with her craft and a great way to wrap up chiro appointments. I highly recommend booking to see Chantelle ASAP!

Every staff member in this clinic is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly when you first come in. It does make this place very special with their welcoming spirit! I cannot recommend this clinic enough!

I can't say enough about the genuine care that I've been receiving these past few weeks. Dr. Gage is truly knowledgeable and explains in detail what he feels is happening within the body. I could barley walk 3 weeks ago and am now on the path to healing. Feeling more hopeful then I have in too long! I wish I had heard about Dr. Gage sooner. This clinic takes a thoughtful, science-based approach to Chiropractic care, a different experience from what I have had in the past. My initial assessment was not rushed and included careful analysis and two-way discussion, including x-rays. Dr Lam took the time to thoroughly explain his diagnosis and shared information in a way that was easy to understand. The clinic staff are professional and courteous and provide excellent patient service. Most importantly, treatment is showing results and I am feeling pain reduction and increased range of motion that I haven't had in years.

I have known Dr. Gage for many years. Over the years he has helped me overcome several major back issues. I have been seeing Dr Lam for 8 months. He is one of the best chiropractors I have seen. I broke the top of my arm many years ago and have issues with it. I have had problems with my shoulder and neck and have seen a lot of improvement. He has different ways of doing the adjustments and recommends various exercises which is helping a lot.

When I went to this clinic, they discovered that I had scoliosis. They ordered a scoliosis brace for me. Since I started wearing it, life has been infinitely better. I used to be in constant pain and had to visit a chiropractor regularly. Now my back rarely causes me pain and chiropractic visits are also rare. Dr. Gage was very professional and direct.

I highly recommend Dr Lam (+team) especially if your Doctor only snaps and cracks you, there’s much more to it; and they have equipment, tools and staff to help you “fix” it!

I started seeking chiropractic therapy 2 years ago when my pain became unliveable and costing me irreplaceable time. I started 3 months ago with Better Back. I dread going there, the expense and I wish they were open around 7 or 7: 30am:) But the results (Dr +team) supersede any of that! It’s been closer to 20 years since I felt this good. I can stand up straight pain free and even have a strut again (that took 2 months) but I didn’t even know I lost it!? ! Thanks team:)

I cannot recommend this place enough. My daughters life has drastically improved since coming here a few months ago. Seizures have decreased. Pain in neck, back, and shoulders are non existent now. Her overall health and well-being have markedly improved as a result. My daughter was able to get an affordable and easy X-ray here- which was a game changer. They developed a plan for her which involves a very comprehensive approach. The adjustments are excellent and the equipment is extensive. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. The communication is very thorough.professional and compassionate. The service and care is excellent. Due to the quality care my daughter is receiving here, she now has a brighter hope for her future. We are so grateful to have found this clinic.

This was the third clinic I tried & I am definitely staying with them! I got an extremely detailed assessment & the treatment was fantastic! A month ago my pain was at 8 or 9 out of 10, now it's at 1.

I have been to many chiropractors before Dr. Gage and none of them come close to comparing to the level of success I’ve had with his treatments. Previously suffering from chronic pain in many areas, I now have so much relief and increased mobility. I feel fortunate that Cedar Hill Sports Therapy (BetterBack Clinic) moved from their previous location to Tuscany Village, just a 25 minute walk from where I live. The two chiropractors, Dr. Gage and Dr. Lam have a great, supportive team of capable staff who assist patients in using the different kinds of equipment that are prescribed to help decompress the spine, neck and hips, using uniquely tailored computer programs that target each patient's needs. They use Xrays to help diagnose and to educate each client about the beginning state of their spinal problems and also to monitor progress made. Each patient is encouraged to do self-care, through gentle, subtle exercises that promote awareness and confidence. This, along with the gentle hands-on adjustments, encourage better habits of posture and awareness of improvements made. They are very open to feedback by the clients, that recognizes the progress that has been made as well as seeing what still needs to improve. I also really like the positive atmosphere at the clinic, which has been, for me, helpful in every way.

Always a great experience coming in for an adjustment. The friendliest staff who always make me feel welcome. Also, I always feel 100x better after an adjustment with Dr. Gage. He is always super professional and listens to my concerns when going to adjust me, I trust him endlessly with my chiropractic health.

2 months of a combination of traction and chiropractic visits with Dr Gage has dramatically improved significant pain and mobility limitations I had for over 12 years. For years I routinely went for chiro, Physio and Massage, to maintain the feeling of ‘ok’, treating the symptoms: A lot of time and money spent with years of frustration of not being able to do what I wanted to do. At Better Back Clinic, Dr Gage I feel, worked out my ‘driver’ of my pain. With traction, adjustments and a home exercise plan, after the first 3 visits I no longer had daily pain! So thankful to have the knowledgeable and professional team working with me. I’ve got a ways to go but I’m up and running!

Dr. Lam is amazing! All the clinic staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I have had back pain and several related injuries for as long as I can remember. Over the past 6 months, Dr. Lam has helped me recover and improve from my worst day of back pain in my life, to the best I've felt in 25 years! (This is not just a subjective opinion either; other professionals outside the clinic such as RMT and Physio have commented on how impressed they are with how I've improved!)

The treatments, techniques and processes I have experienced have been gentle, structured and have progressed slowly, carefully and logically. I like the use of key cards for check-in and the automatic billing as this makes arriving and departing the clinic very streamlined and efficient. I couldn't be happier with the results I've seen so far and would not hesitate for a second recommending the Better Back clinic.

These guys are awesome! Dr Gage helped me get back to work and moving freely again, I’m still a working progress but we are on the right track! The facilities are great and it’s a super friendly environment. I am impressed with the customer service from Katharine and the rest of the girls, they are always very helpful and and friendly!

The team at Better Back Clinic are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The office atmosphere is very welcoming and they offer a variety of treatment options designed to meet individual needs. Dr. Gage specializes in treating scoliosis and is very thorough in his assessment, diagnosis and treatment practices.
Dr Gage takes his time with each client and does not rush through adjustments. He is very good at explaining what he is doing and why. I really appreciate that.
In addition to receiving regular in-office chiropractic treatments, I have asked for and received advice on stretching, exercises and other techniques that I am able to apply at home between adjustments.

Before going to Dr. Gage I was told after I stopped growing at 13 (when I discovered it) there was nothing to be done besides surgery for my scoliosis (58 degrees). As everyday pain became unmanageable on many levels, I was at a loss because I had exhausted all other therapy options. Now at 29, after a referral from a coworker, I found Dr. Gage who after doing an extensive initial examination said he could help me reduce my pain level and even help reduce my curvature. Fast forward to two months later, a new brace, at-home exercises, and weekly traction mixed with adjustment visits I not only went from a level 10/10 in everyday pain to a 3 on most days which is absolutely unheard of for me for the past decade and to top it off, x rays now have proven my scoliosis has already reduced both twist and curvature. I have the before and after! Every time I visit the office both Debbie and Katherine greet me with smiling faces, are so knowledgeable in assisting with my traction, give every client their own personal experience and making me feel extremely comfortable with something I’ve been so vulnerable with my whole life. Dr. Gage has given me not only a place to go that feels like home, but a new confidence waking up everyday both mentally and physically and most of all my life back when I thought I had tried everything, and it’s only just the beginning. Great facility and a friendly team. Everyone is acting and working towards your health goals. X-Ray machine and viewing tech is great to visualize your current condition. This helps to gain a better understanding of where you sit and visualize the end result. Amazed how simple motions like wobble chair, neck stretches and strengthening can have profound impact.

I was diagnosed late with scoliosis at around age 16 and since then have been struggling to find a way to prevent it from worsening as I finish growing. For the last year I have experienced low back pain that has been affecting my daily activities. However, after being referred to Betterback, Dr. Gage had me fitted for a scolibrace for my curve, and started me on traction and chiropractic at his clinic. In the month that I have had the brace so far I no longer have experienced my back pain and am feeling optimistic about my spinal health. The clinic is extremely flexible for booking appointments, and makes it easy for me to be proactive about my back.

Best chiropractic clinic I've been to, and I've been to many. Dr. Gage puts in the time and effort to make sure you're getting a personalized treatment specific to your anatomy. All staff are extremely friendly and will remember your name after a single visit. 6/5 stars.

Have to been to a few different chiropractors and none compare! Dr. Gage and the rest of the team at the Better back clinic make you feel like family with their personable and attentive service. Only place that’ll take the time to make sure they assess you with a x ray, and personalized plan before jumping into adjustments, which says it all. Incredibly rare to see a place that puts your health and well being before their own pocketbook. A refreshing change from the normal business model. I can’t say enough good things about this place, I’m forever grateful to these guys! They got me my quality of life back after my car accident.

I have been seeing Dr Gage at Broadmead Better Back off and on for years. He is an excellent chiropractor who cares about his patients. He works with his patients to ensure the best health outcome is achieved. His office offers a full range of treatments including traction, decompression and a vibration plank you can use post treatment. His team is knowledgeable, friendly and just all around awesome!

I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 16 years old, I’ve been to multiple different doctors but none of them have shown me the amount of respect nor care about my back than this place. The people are amazing and I always recommend this team to my friends and family.
