The Brick

We had an amazing experience by Li from Brick. She helped us choose the bed mattress and ensured our smooth delivery. The delivery guy cancelled the delivery by mistake last moment but Li promptly helped us and ensured we get our delivery. She was amazing throughout. We also liked the bed color and mattress.

Horrible service and you actually need to build your stuff. Not impressed with their people skills.

We have ordered a couch in the beginning of August with delivery on September 12, they told us we could get it MAYBE at the end of September! Kinda let down.
So we walked in to see if we can get different one sooner and JACOB was an excellent and very helpful. We got sweet deal on a couch and some other appliances.

Jacob is amazing with helping us with picking a bedframe…however, we still haven’t received it and now am being told we won’t receive it until the 2nd or 3rd week of October…when we ordered it beginning of September. Little but sad but not Jacobs fault at all!

Angela was very knowledgeable & pleasant when we were looking for a washing machine. We would recommend her to others when shopping at this store!

I was with my elderly mother that struggles with outings. We were greeted by Angela at the Nanaimo Brick and she was very helpful. Her attentive approach without being pushy was just what my mother needed. I really appreciated her help and would absolutely buy my furniture from her in the future.

This is not the first time we have shopped at The Brick, but this was BY FAR THE BEST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER! We were greeted at the entrance by Angela Wong and, although our first response is usually "No thanks", Angela was so engaging that we didnt hesitate in accepting her assistance. We had a blast, she made our shopping experience fun! She took our needs and ran with them. We found the perfect sofa recliner at an amazing price, and because we felt so comfortable with Angela, we decided to buy a coffee table and 2 side tables, these items were originally to be purchased at a later date, but the prices were sooo good. Angela never pressured us, she respected our space and supported us as we made decisions. We feel we made a friend and highly recommend Angela and the Brick for any future purchases. Thanks Angela!

We came into the NANAIMO store on Friday, March 31st /23 to check out some Bar Stools we had seen on the website. We were met by a sale rep Jacob who assisted us and answered our questions and concerns. The stools were listed for $179, but we were pleasantly surprised when Jacob, said they were now being sold for $119.95. We purchased 4 stools. Jacob was very courteous and explained your policies and warranties. We are so far happy with our purchase, but now wait for them to come into the store. Too bad you don't have free delivery.

Worked with Jacob and had a great experience redoing my living room set and dining room. Great customer service.

Purchased a gorgeous 65” Sony Bravia XR A80K from sales representative, Angela Wong. Angela was professional, courteous and attentive. So much so that we returned the next day and purchased a very nice stand to act as a base for the set. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you, Angela and the Nanaimo Brick team!

I met a very pleasant and courteous young lady named Renee. She was very helpful and seemed to know the furniture when I asked.
I explained what I wanted, didn't like or want and she walked me right to the perfect pieces. And since I was buying multiple items she was able to get me an even better deal than the advertised sale.
Make sure to ask for her the next time you're in the store it'll only enhance your shopping experience.

I haven't received my furniture purchases yet so can't comment on the quality, but I wanted to post a review of Jacob.my sales rep.
I spent about 4 hours in the store over 2 days and Jacob was absolutely amazing. He never rushed me; was totally professional yet friendly; he has a solid knowledge of their products; makes helpful suggestions; his efforts and attention to detail go well beyond other sales people I have encountered and The Brick is very fortunate to have him on staff. It was delightfully refreshing to do business with such a diligent and patient person.

Jacob did a great job of getting me the right couch at a good price. He even managed to get the deal done, couch wrapped for transport and loaded in my truck in under an hour while their computer system was down. Good work by the Brick Nanaimo Crew!

My wife and I came in to buy some lawn furniture a few weeks ago. Renee was super helpful with explaining the financing process and setting it all up for us! She was very friendly but also professional, and made for an excellent shopping experience. We will definitely be back again.

Jacob Erickson is both personable and professional. He generously shared his knowledge of leather quality, care, and extended warranties and helped me choose a comfortable reclining chair to complement my room. He gave my partner and me plenty of time to discuss this purchase and to sit again in endless chairs for comparison. I came away feeling confident that I had made a smart purchase.

I took my mum to the Brick last Saturday. She wanted to browse around for a chair. She hadn't really decided what she wanted style wise and color wise, so she needed time. A sales associate introduced herself and we told her we wanted to browse around. 10 minutes later she followed us to the other side of the store and started asking, you like this one? You need a different color, you like the fabric? I can find another color.just rapid fire questions, asked over and over. THREE times I told her my mum needed more time to shop. She has a mobility issue and uses a cane, so rushing is not on the menu. So she gave us 5 more minutes and approached us again, and again I said she's not ready yet.
My mum is 80, and not up for pressure sales. As soon as the associate went away she said "let's go, I'm not buying anything here". Last month when she needed a couch, same thing. We purchased both from Dodds. She says she will never go to the Brick again.
Me neither. If I say WE NEED MORE TIME (3 times) then guess what, we need more time.
I was hoping Jacob would help us because I have heard good things about him.
Our associate was far too pushy.

Recently bought a new mattress from Angela. We had Roxy for many years and liked her customer first attitude. Angela has that Customer first attitude. She is our new Roxy. Thanks

Just bought our new sofa from The Brick. Very happy with it, and with the service. Jacob was really great. Very helpful and attentive. We appreciated the way he was available to answer our questions and show us different options but still gave us time to look around on our own.
