The Brickhouse

I know prices have gone up but it cost $28 for a burger and with a $3 add for truffle fries.you’re looking at $31 before tax and tip. By the time you walk out the door it’s $40 with no drinks for just a meal for one person. On top of that, the chicken patty was just a thin wafer compared to what it used to be. I’m sympathetic to increased food costs, but this is gouging – I won’t be back.

I had the salmon salad and it was amazing! Oh yeah and chocolate cheesecake for dessert. So good!

We stop here every time we are in Fernie just for their Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Sandwich! It is phenomenal, highly recommend. Food can take a long time because the kitchen is small with only 2 chefs but it is definitely worth the wait!

The atmosphere and service is always great here and you’re made to feel welcome. The food is outstanding, from the mussels and the beet salad to chicken burgers with amazing toppings and poke bowl. Having said that, as a local, I would go more often if the menu changed more often and if there was a pasta option too but if you never been you’re in for a treat. You will not be disappointed with anything on the menu!

The bruschetta with goat cheese is phenomenal and the mussels are a perfect level of spicy but not spicy chipotle tomato rose flavour.

Had the mussels and bruschetta for lunch. Large portions. SO fresh and delicious. Our server, Dave, was a dream. Super friendly and incredibly attentive and professional.

Personally the best burger in town! I’m a very picky person when it comes to burgers but I’ve never had a complaint about the Bree burger! Delicious food, friendly staff, chill atmosphere, what else could one ask for?
I recommend to everyone I come across to stop in, they won’t be disappointed!

I really like the building and the menu had lots of great sounding options. The execution wasn't great though and the service was some of the worst I've experienced in recent memory.

The Brickhouse is aptly named, the interior is brick with a great decor. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food is great and served with healthy portions. Would recommend!

We were there for 10 mins waiting to get served. The waiter served the table that came and then cleaned another table. We were ignored the whole time and never even got water or menu. We walked out and won't be back.

Food was good, atmosphere was nice, and the drinks were good. I'd go back again for sure

For was great but service is very very slow. We waited an hour and had to take our food to go because it took so long. I think it's partially because they have a small kitchen but also they were under staffed.

Disappointing.

Excellent food, the Basil Chicken was cooked perfectly, and the added veggies. Great portion sizes. Small venue on the inside so if eating in, you might want to go earlier then later.

Food was good (tender calamari), quick service and cute restaurant with parking available out back

I had the Brie burger and fries. The fries were good. The burger was packed with flavour, but I honestly couldn't taste the 'maple' in the bacon. Regular bacon would have been just as good. The onions were the perfect amount of pickled though.

My dad has the Sweet jalapeno chicken and a house salad with balsamic. He very much enjoyed both.

I had an excellent experience here great beer selection and awesome food the truffle fries were definitely the star of the show but the burger I had was very good as well.

We were there for supper. We had the Naked Burger and salad. I think the burgers are made fresh there. The meal was very tasty. Nice atmosphere quaint. I would recommend it for sure.

Husband and I shared the mussels (were recommended) and flat bread. The flat bread was pretty hard and it hurt to chew and the mussels were so, so. Bread that came with them was also really hard. Kids had a good burger though, so maybe stick with those?
