The British Butcher Shoppe

I have been coming to the BB for over 10 years. Anytime I am in the neighborhood I will stop in and get some treats from back home (its a guilty pleasure) as well as great snacks and treats from the UK they also have a great butcher counter. The pork pies and sausage rolls (I like the chicken) are amazing and I always stock up! This is the place I always get my Christmas gammon to make in to ham every year as well. Be sure to book ahead for your turkeys and hams though as they only bring in limited amounts, However this year I did not and chanced it by turning up the day before Christmas eve looking for a gammon and was totally shocked they had one spare! I have never had a bad experience here, LOVE this place and the team!

Great place to pick up sweets, including tablet! I love their curried chicken pies, scotch pies and decent black pudding. Their haggis is also great I’m not sure how interesting that will be to most people who read reviews!

Worst "Cornish pasty" I've ever had in my life! Was so soggy and completely fell apart. Scotch egg was partially frozen. Very disappointed.

Great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent source of British foods, pre-made and ready-to-cook.

Amazing meats and British imports. Also as a pro tip they sell homemade dog food and dog treats! My boys love them

A wee taste of Britain, right here in North Vancouver. I go for the English snacks and sweets, and the Cornish pasties! There are also plenty of true butcher shoppe cuts of meat, just like when I was growing up.

I thought I wasn't a big fan of meat pies, but today I tried the Steak and Guinness one at The British Butcher Shoppe and it was AMAZING!
The staff also was very nice, for sure I'll go back to try different pies and meat!

My go to spot for good meat and other things - almost weekly! Such warm, helpful and friendly folks who work here.

A treasure trove for British foods. I absolutely love their chicken pies. And their bacon. And their sausages. And their chocolate goodies. Well, you get the idea.

I have found staff to always be helpful & polite.
