Food was great. They didn't have the beer on tap that I wanted again. Server was awesome though and the reason I would return. Very personable and friendly.

Burgers, beef dip and fish and chips are pretty good. My go-to drink is a white sangria and they do it very well. Friendly and prompt service.

Lot going on in this place. Had the pierogis were in some strange gravy never seen that before. Met this lovely woman there I am pursuing. We talked for hours and then strolled along the water. Felt super close to her that night.

Bald bouncer should be fired.
I arrived at the pub and decided to order a pitcher since my friends were arriving soon. I went outside to answer a call, as it was too loud inside, and on my way out I confirmed with a bouncer that I would be allowed back in afterwards. After my call (maybe 2 mins long), I went to come back inside, and was told wait, then maybe 30 seconds later the bald guy told me to go home. I explained that I had beer waiting at my table, but was told to leave regardless. I had already paid for beer ($25) and was not allowed to drink it. This is essentially theft, and should be unacceptable. Local people all know that the man is a clown, so i’m not sure why he is still there given his history. He also got in my face, then threatened to call the cops if I touched him (which I had no intention of/he decided to escalate the situation for no reason). Shame that a nice place employs someone like this.

Old place in Steveston village but unfortunately possibly shutting down. So many memories here.

For the price you pay for the steak burger I am not sure there was even 3.5 ounces of beef did not feel like a steak it was sliced and flattened out in a layer. I have never had a steak burger like that. Real rip off. Other food was ok at best. Waited a real long time. The place had only a few customers. Was totally disappointed.

I participated in my grandson's wrestling club's event dinner and had a beef burger, fries and beer.
There was a volume, the price was reasonable, and the beer was the most delicious.

Classic pub setting catering probably mostly to Steveston's numerous visitors. While the Buck & Ear might not be the reason to visit Steveston, it is nonetheless a reliable place for delicious pub-grub and a not-bad beer list.

Well worth a visit if you're looking for simpler fare and don't much care for standing in line for an hour plus under a blazing sun which can be the case with other, perhaps more notable, food establishments nearby in Steveston.

Amazing service. Most professional service I've had in years. Nice Cobb Salad and Beef-dip and a couple of drinks.

I give the food a 5 but sitting and waiting about 10 minutes to be noticed when you get there was a bit of a stretch (this has happened the last couple times I've been here). Once the ball was rolling tho, it was good.

A nice pub in downtown Steveston - beer selection is good - not a ton of crazy selections. The service was good and friendly.

Good drinks, amazing chowder, and yummy chicken wings. Can't ask for more from a pub.

The fish and chips here are phenomenal. Fish was huge and battered perfectly. Fries were crispy and fresh, and the tartar sauce is a must try! Fresh, light, and creamy sauce. We ordered two of the fish and chips and it took quite a bit of time, almost 30 minutes, after we placed our order to recieve our food. The place was packed the night we went, and the restaurant had a serious understaffing issue. The 3 staff were running around and frantic all night trying to serve the full house and so the service was not as good as it could have been, to no fault of the staffs.

I did a big mistake the staff i very very rude “SPECIALLY” THE MANAGER. They dnt even losten what you are saying and just walk away. Please i suggest you dnt come here if you have some self respect. Really very very bad experience. Worst customer service ever seen in my life.

Poor customer service. The waitress will not even pay attention to what you order and then even not bring on time. Ordering a couple of drinks is more than 25 minutes of wait time. Not recommended.

I'd be willing to give this place another try. The flavor is good but Uber ended up being late by 40 minutes. Fries were all soggy which isn't the restaurant's fault. Burger was a bit raw/rare for my taste but it has a really nice charcoal BBQ flavor.

I think we should eat there next time.

Our experience is excellent. The food is delicious. There wasn't many people when we went there, but the environment is warm. I definitely recommend this place when you're around Richmond or Steveston area.

We came in last night here for dinner, we ordered drinks and how long do you thing canned drinks can be grabbed in? Like 10 minutes max?
Ours took almost 30 Minutes. Like wow! Bruhhhh where did you dug them out from.
We called the server and asked her to call the manager and guess what she said she was the manager (she must’ve made up), she was helllaaa rudeee! Who made you a manager bro or they were short on manager and they just had to bring up one? Please go back to being a trainee and learn how to serve, know what a real customer service is and then come back being a real manager. Would be great.

Poor customer service. The manger were super rude all we asked was to make some space on our table for food and she gave us such attitude.

We tried to talk to the manager but then found out the server who was behaving rudely was the manager herselff. What can we expectt from her.
Anyways food was just okay and one more thing! Got our canned drinks after 25 minutessses SURPRISEEEEEE
