This place is amazing. It's just perfect. 10/10, no notes. Delicious, friendly, and good vibes.the new name is nice too, I assume a pun on the Spanish word for Donkey.

This was a perfect place for a casual rainy day dinner. The atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy, and the food was hearty and comforting. Our server was so friendly!
The format of the dishes is all Mexican staples (burritos, tacos, etc) but I feel that the flavours were not really Mexican. This is not a bad thing, though, because it's great food, just don't come here for "authentic" Mexican. They're doing their own thing.
My friend and I got chips and salsa to start off. The "small" size chips and salsa is still pretty big and was more than enough for 2. We took almost half the chips home, so I'd say this could comfortably serve 3-4 if you just want the chips as a light appetizer. I like their salsa a lot. It had a fresh vegetal flavour which was a little unusual but good. And we were a little surprised to find that the bowl of orange sauce placed next to the salsa that looked a little like squash puree was actually hot sauce! I really liked the hot sauce too - it is spicy but has enough "volume" of other flavours that you can heap it on to get the best effect.
I had the spicy walnut lentil enchiladas with salsa verde for my entree. I got the vegan version, which just changes out real cheese for vegan Daiya cheese. The "spicy" descriptor is best understood as "well-seasoned" and not "hot", because I didn't think the enchiladas were hot at all, but they did have a really nice deep and earthy flavour. They were quite filling. The salsa verde was delicious. Personally I'm not the biggest fan of Daiya cheese (it's a little goopy to me), but I did think they baked it well and had the right balance with the amount of cheese. I ordered this with the side salad which was beautiful and came with a tasty vinaigrette. The whole dish was very filling and definitely good value.
I got a glass of horchata to drink too, which was creamy and lovely! Loved the foamy cap.
Overall the place leaves me with a very positive impression and I'd be happy to return!

Excellent, delicious vegetarian and vegan food (the wings were really excellent!) and delicious cocktails - definitely worth a visit, even for non-vegetarians/vegans

I use to love this place.

I was super disappointed to recently get a wolf and goat bowl only to find a fake guac on it.

Avocados are to expensive I was told.

So now you pay 15 bucks for rice beans cabbage and some green thing that taste kind of of like hummus.its not that good and should cost 10 bucks.

I really appreciate all the vegetarian and vegan options there but I was a bit disappointed flavour wise. I wish they had more seasoning. Portions were great though!

Honestly don't think I've had a better burrito in my life. Get it baked! So worth it!

I don’t usually go for vegetarian places but I ended up here one night and it was phenomenal! Abby was absolutely wonderful and the DRINKS! Amazing.

Ingredients are fresh, portions are a good size, service is good, prices are reasonable, I have enjoyed the food every time I have been here

I would consider the Burrow to be mexi-inspired hippie fare. For what it is, it's done well. Super reliable comfort food. Humble and approachable, it's a convenient place for brunch or dinner where you want to eat healthy, but also have tasty options.

The Plant Curious book brought me here for the first time, and my family is officially a fan! Due to gluten and various ingredient sensitivities, I had the Ronny Russell burrito as a bowl, and it was so good (even without the beans and salsa). Their mock guac is edamame-based, and while it doesn't have the exact creaminess as the "real" guacamole, it's slightly earthier and still amazing. The purple cabbage has the perfect texture and tang! The Ronny Russell was our favourite taco (the roasted yam works!), but all of them were packed with flavour and filling. 3 tacos would be suitable for a meal. Wasn't sure how their portion sizes would be, but was pleasantly surprised! We did take out, but the vibes were casual and homey inside. With the Plant Curious book, our meal was 50% off, but at regular price it's more than reasonable for a lunch/dinner. Already excited to come back in the future!

Whatever you do.make sure you plan a day to come and eat here! Fantastic service and yummy comfort food. Everything was so fresh and their "mock quac" is a great idea and very delish! Next time I will get the cheeze dip! My recommendation is to not forget to ask for your meal to be made vegan. Everything can be made as such, but I forgot to ask.

Food was unique and delicious… love all types of wings specially the honey garlic one… have some guilt free wings and enjoy the look and taste. My second choice of wings was bbq which was very delicious.chipotle tofu taste good but the quesadilla was not worth the price.definitely u should try the same chipotle tofu but enchiladas.full of flavor and tasty.squash enchiladas was good if u like sweet food but not so much flavorful. Cinnamon Cheesecakes was unique and tasty. In total good experience and worth to try. Although was unhappy with the unpleasant smell of restaurant at the entrance.

My Fiancé and I go to this restaurant at least once a week. Our favourite dishes are the Hampton nachos and the spicy habanero wings. To die for amazing vegetarian food! Our all time favourite restaurant!

A must visit if into eating your vegetables. This is exactly how you should do vegetarian adaptations of Mexican food. Great spot to hit for any time of the day, definitely come here if you can.

The volume in this place is usually pretty loud.

Very cozy place, has great options for vegans. Not a choice for carnivores though. Everything is vegetarian. But as a omnivore it was great! Really good atmosphere!

A vegan gem! Not usually one for Latin food, but this placed changed my tune. Their vegan wings are incredible (better than any other alternatives in the city), and their nachos were just as delicious. Thanks!

The vegan tacos were fresh and flavourful with delish corn tortillas. The vegan wings though - ooof soo good. I got 2 flavors and already want to go back for them again, and to try the other ones. I highly recommend the ranch dip too

By far my favourite place for which I am a regular.

The Habenaro wings are by far the best wings I ever had, are vegan and are worth a try (I like them better than chicken wings). However, the Habenaro sauce is relatively spicy especially when adding a lot. I like that one can ask for the in-house Habenaro sauce on the side for free to make it extra spicy or remove the sauce with a spoon to make it less spicy. My favourite non-spicy flavour is the garlic. I like about the wings is that they are perfect for take out; they can be microwaved a few days later and they would not lose the taste or texture.

The Hampton nachos are my favourite menu option. I usually get them with a side of medium guacamole. They also come vegan although the vegan cheese does not taste as good.

Serving sizes: The small nachos is actually quite a bit of food and I would say it is barely enough to feed two people. However if coming in happy hour (before 4 and after 9) one can get the nachito, which is a smaller plate version of the nachos that is a little less than a one person serving.

I prefer to avoid the sides of rice or beans; they can be better spiced.

Amazing dishes, friendly staff, food was better than i was told. Compared to some reviews on here, this is a must. Im not vegetarian, my mum is, but you can't tell the difference. The variety of food they have was not expected. The take out fridges were a nice surprise if you wanted something quick to go. Went with another friend who's a meat eater, and he absolutely loved it as well. Being where this is, parking is a commodity but we found parking a block away. Trust me you'll need that extra walk. Mock quac, couldn't tell the difference. Baked burrito with cheese, totally worth it.

Amazing mexican place. The food the ambience the service the quality everything was beyond super. You should try the baked burrito for sure whenever you visit the place also the variety in mocktails is fantastic. There will be guaranteed no harm in trying new item every time u visit and all vegeteian/ vegan for veggie lovers
