The Clove

Food was fantastic, like everything we tried was great! However my experiences were not. The first visit during my vacation in August, I asked for a bowl of water for my dog (pet friendly patio was lovely!) and had to ask 3 times before the waitress said she was stressed out and brought me a dirty bucket of water. I gave my dog my water. We actually went back the next day and the bucket was still in the same spot where we sat the previous day so I know it wasn't washed. The manager I think was serving us the second day and actually brought me a clean cup for my pup (thank you!) And the service was a lot better from her.

Loved the staff here! Spent my birthday on Quadra and my friend I felt to welcomed by the staff. Sonya (Sonia?) the bartender was amazing and Jared the cook was great! Highly recommend

Oh my gosh, this pizza was AMAZING! We had the Carnivore and it was just perfection. High quality ingredients and even the cold leftovers tasted great the next day (which is a sign of a truly great pizza). We loved their little board game section, too.

I love The Clove, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and made with LOVE! The atmosphere is so unbelievably inviting and the service is top tier. I always feel so accepted at The Clove whether it be to grab a tasty zah or just to stop by and say hello to the most friendliest faces.

Enjoying a few relaxing days on beautiful Quadra Island from Victoria. Tried out most of the restaurants and The Clove was hands down the best. Might not have a beautiful view or a fancy atmosphere, but it’s cozy, the service is perfect and the food delicious. Our group had pizza, salads, mac and cheese and the beef dip and everyone loved their meal. Served fresh and hot by a kind and friendly server. Highly recommend.

Delishers food, nice place to be and Rock'n Roll as background music. The stuff is very friendly.

I have been gf for 20years, and this was the best gf pizza crust I’ve encountered (outside of Italy). Seriously. Exceptional

We had such a great meal here over the weekend. The service was fast and friendly and our toddler had a fun time with the toys and greeting customers. We played a game of crib while eating our delicious burger and garlic bread knots. Baked Mac n cheese and the soup were also winners. We’ll definitely be back!

Frankly amazing vegetarian options, tried all the meatybois first. Only place to get beer in the cove after the store closes!
Note for the owners: hi guys i just heard theres an old videogame called quadrapong? If you had it playable in-house? It would really beat all.

The food, service and ambiance are great. We came during dinner rush and the gentleman working the front counter and serving was run off his feet but he remained friendly, and professional. The food was great, we had a pizza and artichoke dip. Relaxed atmosphere, lots of locals and tourists. Would absolutely come back.

Fantastic friendly staff and good pizza. Ask for the jalapeño popper pizza even if it isn't on the menu.

Stopped here for a quick lunch while exploring Quadra on a day off. Very friendly staff with a great, small town atmosphere. They sold pizza by the slice and it was fresh and piping hot; the crust and sauce were tasty but it was a bit greasier than I usually enjoy pizza. A+ for service and atmosphere, B+ for the food. Would definitely visit again in the future to try some other menu items.

Petit bémol pour le prix… mais visiblement tout le Canada est très cher!

Love here so much! Actually I am not a pizza lover, so I didn't try their pizza even though this is a pizza restaurant. Strongly recommend Beef Dip, so delicious! Way beyond my expectation!

Nice place, only thing is the crust wasn't thick enough. 10' pizza is not quite enough for one person, 20 $ with tip. Staff are very nice.smiles and service was good

We grabbed one of these pizzas from the grocery store on Quadra Island. So yummy! Crust was light and fluffy, lots of toppings. Delicious!

The pizza from The Clove is one of the best I have ever had. They use good quality ingredients which gives for a wonderful flavour. There is the right amount of sauce so as not to out do the toppings.
Staff are outstanding. Everything about The Clove is topnotch. You make this a stop on your list is you visit Quadra Island. A must do.

Everything was so delicious.they have limited variety of curries but they all have their own taste unlike other restaurants where kadahi chicken and kadahi paneer tastes same even all their curries. We enjoyed their food.

Not happy with service. Decided to order take-out due to reinstatement of masks indoors. Ordered pizza and salad, waited patiently outside the entrance in view of the waitress with 2 previous take-out order customers. Server brought out the take-out orders to the previous 2 customers and after about an hour, the waitress "summoned" me back into the restaurant to give me my order and told me that she didn't realize I was waiting outside. Are you kidding me? ! No apologies.just nothing. Pizza was lukewarm and salad was soggy. Shouldn't have given server that 15% tip for absolutely no service at all. Probably didn't look like the kind of customer they wanted. In any event, worst experience in my life. Will never go there again.

Loved it! We visited Quadra for the day and got a pizza while waiting for the ferry home. Service was good, pizza was hot and fresh, plenty of seating and board games to keep us occupied while we waited.

It was a very long wait (hour and a half on a Wednesday evening, it was busy and they had a new chef) but the pizza was really good and the lady who served us was super nice.

We arrived after closing and they were nice enough to offer "mistake order" pizzas. I think it was the Vegetarian - it was so good. I'm a meat lover and don't like Vegetarian pizzas but this one was really good. Thanks for not letting us go hungry! We'd definitely go back.

Seven of us requested vegan options. We were delighted to have a choice. We ordered the Vegan Thai Curry and the Vegan Quinoa power-bowls.
What an amazing dinner. Everyone in the group loved their dinners. I can’t remember how long it’s been since I ate a meal that great. Thank you for helping to make our holiday on Quadra so great with your excellent food.

Great food, great people but I think since covid-19 started the servers
seem a bit distracted and been messing up orders a bit. But we are all in this together and I highly recommend the place! Go Clove Go!

Ordered a take out Mediterranean pizza while visiting the island. The pizza was perfect, crust was so good. Take out was fast and the food was great. Would definitely eat from there again.
