Spacious coffee shop with your basic drinks to choose from. I got the iced matcha latte with oat milk which was pretty tasty.

It may have been the time of day (~5pm), but it was slim pickings for food options so didn't try anything to eat.

Love the vibe! But short staff. The customer service from Grace is very Poor.should have gone to my favorite Starbucks.but walk a few blocks to support this Coffee shop!

Very cute and relaxing place had banana bread (which was delicious) and chai and mocha both weren't bad but chai was kinda watery

Only thing more frightening then the price of a takeout latte was the expectation I should drink it! The two stars are for the washroom.

I've visited that place multiple times, and on each occasion, the staff has seemed quite upset. I always thought coffee shops were supposed to have a more relaxed atmosphere.

We had a terrible experience at the coffee bar today. The cashier was extremely rude and swearing without a reason. Will never return to this place.

Bad coffee worse customer service.
I was there this morning and ordered a cappuccino. It was full of milk and didn't have a coffee taste. I softly complained to the two girls working there with the hope that they will fix it like many other coffeeshops do, but they took it and dumped it away and sarcastically said sorry and expecting me to pay again for another drink.

I ordered a green tea. The tea was very tasty and the staff were kind. If you like a green tea must visit this place. The flavor of the tea is rose and green tea which is very fancy

I've been hearing good reviews about this coffee bar in my neighborhood, and finally, I made it today. Excellent quality expresso and courteous service, great space, chill vibe with fantastic choice of music.

The staff were great. The Atmosphere of the coffee shop is calm, peaceful and relaxing! Will come back!

This is my favorite coffee place in Vancouver! Though it may not look like anything special at first glance, they have delicious sandwiches, cookies, and special drinks. I highly recommend the ice chocolate!

I always forget why I don't go here more often, then when I come I remember. The prices are super high. Most of the stuff is underwhelming, although the espresso itself is nice. More importantly, the vibes are weird. The cafe is usually quiet, but some of the staff are super loud clattering dishes around and BLASTING annoying videos on their phone. It echoes through what would otherwise be a pleasant atmosphere.

Wasnt a fan of the coffee and the service here is baaaad. Walk a few doors down in either direction and you have better options.

Small coffee spot. Friendly staff. Quality drinks. Bathrooms are horrible- they need a deep clean. Disappointing considering thr cute cafe.

2nd time coming here. I conclude this terrible coffee shop is a cash grab run by a bunch of no fucksgiven, smug bunch.

I had to pee badly and wanted to pee before ordering but I kept being told that the bathroom was only for paying customers only. I just gave the lady $5 to go to the bathroom. It doesn't matter of the food or coffee is good or not if that is the way the establishment treats people.

I'm not too much of a fan of the crowded seating and washroom is typically unkempt.but the drinks are good. They do an especially good job at a London Fog.

I ordered a coffee drink and my friend that was with me ordered a coffee and food. I thought I would try something that I haven’t ordered before. The drink was about $7. I ended up not liking the coffee. I asked if I could have an ounce or two of drip coffee to cut the sweetness of the coffee I ordered otherwise I couldn’t drink it. The barista said no, and then told me that she couldn’t give me drip coffee for free. I tried to explain that the coffee I ordered was way to sweet for me. She didn’t care that I wasn’t enjoying my coffee. I will never go back there again.

If you want to be spoken like you're inconveniencing them for ordering their overpriced, watered down, subpar drinks, this is the place to be. The lady (with pink hair) was dismissive and rude. When I told her about her attitude she said she was just busy - there was only one other customer who's waiting for their drink. Personally, I wouldnt be caught dead in this establishment.

The Spanish lattes are a regular treat every weekend it starts our day along with the exquisite almond croissants omfg so beautiful and fluffy and tasty absolutely to die for. Far above experience citations and the service is top notch.

The coffee is good.
But $4.25 for an Americano is quite expensive, extra shot I makes it really expensive like 5+ for a coffee.
The insist on adding sugar & cream for you, is this Tom Horton? Very hard to get a coffee is to your taste (being expensive we would like it to be)
When asking for adjustments the barriers gets short with you. (the cashier was very friendly)

Although it has a nice interior design at the back, the staff give bad service and attitude. I don’t recommend this place. Been a customer for years and regretted giving them the business. Try Milano Cafe half a block away.

It seemed like a great place to sit down and chill at first but I won't be coming back here for coffee. I ordered a large americano expecting to have one more shot of espresso than a medium sized since the large is a dollar more expensive. All I got was a large watered down "coffee". Ask for large americano in a medium cup if you are looking to get coffee from this place.

Nice little Cafe stop. Good coffee variety, value priced, and hot chocolate hit the spot. Location was spot on in Gas Town

I am allergic to dairy. I ordered oatmilk matcha.
With the order I came back to office, Took the first sip, and boom.understood, it is regular milk.
I went back, and informed politely, I am allergic to dairy. They said I did not mentioned oatmilk. I knew there is no way I can make them believe I did not miss saying that. They initiated making another one, charged me for whole new coffee. I asked you are charging me again? They murmured something, I said thank you, left the drink there and cafe immediately. I buy matcha latte everyday by the way. Nice work loosing permanent customer.

I arrived at this coffee shop looking nice and presentable for my date on a Saturday evening. Upon arrival I had to use the washroom because I had been driving for a while to get there. The rude staff refused to give me the key to the washroom until I order. Long story short, I ordered for me and my date, she carried everything to the table while I ran to the washroom. This place lacks decency and professionalism and I would not recommend it to anyone.

An amazing place in midst of Gas Town on Water Street. This has great options for coffee and a quick bite like their Almond or Chocolate croissant is just awesome. This is also a great place for small meetups or personal meetings. You can even work from here and use the Wifi for MeeT restaurant next to this coffee shop. It has an outdoor covered place where you can sit during Rainy days and enjoy the view of Gas Town while sipping your coffee.

A reliable and straightforward coffee shop in Gastown. Central location, lots of seating, and what you'd expect from what you order. There's just nothing really special or memorable about it either. You can find more interesting places nearby, but this is good when you don't feel like going anywhere pretentious.

Don't order from this place on ubereats or other platforms- getting coffee and PREMADE pastry, my order on UE was hanging as "ready in 30-40 min" for a full half hour.you guys forget to hit "ready" in the system or something? Completely ridiculous, especially considering this coffee shop provides no public number to call and check on orders. The pretension might be worth these prices, but not poor service to boot.

Try their ICED MOCHA, the magic is in the real chocolate they use, its a nice balance of chocolate and coffee.

Extremely rude service! We were going to have a seat to have a couple coffees but before I asked for the washroom and I was sternly told I must buy something before I can do that. We straight walked out. Good way to lose potential customers…

Honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. Overpriced, bad customer service, worst matcha I've ever had in my life even an americano was bad and that is really hard to mess up.

The vibe of the place is pretty nice. Good music, decent food and most importantly the coffee is made well! Ordered a iced mocha and it tasted distinct, not typical mocha that you can buy at other food places. The food is a bit pricy and it can better for sure. Also the service is great! Will come back again for the Coffee:)

Good coffee and friendly staff. However I found the space to be a bit cramped (due to unused chairs) and dark (it’s thought to read or study). You should also add a tipping option for customers. Your baristas are working hard and they deserve a tip!

Too pricey for what you get. Hours showing online are inconsistent with opening times. It shows as opening at 7: 30am. I went at 8: 00 and it wasn't open. This is not the first time, which is frustrating me enough to not return.

However, I have not had rude staff. Not out of their way friendly either like other coffee shops - but for me, that's not a complaint.

Milk was nicely froth but lacking in flavor for me.if you like a slightly delicate flavor this might be for you.

The baristas sometimes have “unfriendly” energy but they’re honesty just chillin. The coffee is nice, the locations nice, and they have a good selection of things. This is my go to place when I don’t feel like having a pretentious coffee master take too long to poor my coffee.

Cozy little spot in the heart of Gastown. Great French pastries and breakfast wraps. It's a great way to enhance a morning stroll downtown.

If you're planning to go in the morning as they open, don't expect the best service-I think they're still tired (ironically).

I've come here regularly over the years, and the mornings are always less than. Not becuase they do less than the afternoon staff, but becuase they don't even do the same.

Sadly the barista this morning again wqs more interested in her phone than taking my order. And she did ask me twice, but it wasn't to be thorough; it's because she wasn't listening.

But the atmosphere is very nice, very reminiscent of Toronto cafes. At least with music and visual style.

I’m on the search for an excellent almond croissant and I found one! Only downside - extremely expensive: 27$ for a large Spanish latte, chocolate croissant (my husband didn’t care for it too much) and an almond croissant (one of the best I’ve ever had)!

I never come here for the food or drinks (both pretty average, at best). I come because of the amazing location and laid-back vibe that is friendly to customers with laptops or lounging with friends. They don't mind whether you stay for 20 mins or 3 hours.and that brings me back here anytime I want to be warm inside without making a fuss. Great cafe to work or to study.

Love the place, very quiet in the weekend mornings, was the perfect spot for a coffee with friends. The coffee was very good, a good selection of sweets and of course good location with east street parking and ambiance.

Location is amazing cause it’s so central. Reason why I’m giving two stars is because they don’t serve coffee past 12pm!
I use to go here to study. I’ve stopped going because they don’t even serve coffee. Such a shame. This reason makes their competitors a much more attractive choice. If they serve coffee all day (or extend until 3/5pm), I would definitely come back. If the owner is reading this, please take this into consideration! We want coffee!

A calm atmosphere where they make Barista Style coffee. Way better than Starbucks. Also, they are a Canadian company.

Got a London Fog here with almond milk, no foam. For $6.50, I expected it to taste up to par with a lot of the other french patisserie places that offers this.or if anything, much better. But it tasted flat, without the fragrant vanilla syrup coming through. I can taste the Earl Grey (the bergamot) but the vanilla is just not present. The croissants are also more costly than a lot of other places that have better selection and taste. They use to be good, guess it was a long while back. I feel i'm paying for their location. Should have trekked down the opposite direction to Prado Cafe.

The London Fog with the almond milk is nothing but tasteless water! The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced! After sharing with them that the London fog was not up to our expectation, they started arguing and rejecting! As a person who often drinks tea latte and London fog i find the staff irrespective, humiliating, and unprofessional! I will never come back to this place!

It was awful tasty coffee and poor customer service. I didn't like the coffee and when I told the barista she did nothing and said if you want a new drink you have to pat again. Do Not Recommend

Do NOT go to this coffee bar. I went there over a month ago and ordered a $6.50 chai latte. It was unfortunately a horrible tasting chai and I asked the barista to make me a different drink. This person, who identified themselves as a supervisor, denied me another drink even though I was super unhappy with my beverage. I did not ask for a refund, I just wanted a new drink. She denied me and allowed me to walk out empty handed and out of pocket $6.50. Where the problem also comes.she would not provide me the name of the manager. She DID provide me with an email address for the manager and suggested I email them. I used that email address and another one from the website and have emailed them TWICE explaining my frustration and disappointment. I sent the initial email over one month ago and have not heard back from either email address. I find their customer service appalling. I have told all my colleagues to never go to this Coffeebar due to their appalling customer service. I am floored by it and will also never return.

Prices keep going up, yet quality is never consistent and if anything is declining. Won't be going back.

I've gone here many times and really enjoy the Spanish latte, choice music and wonderful atmosphere. Great place to hang out with a coffee.
