Things I like about this resort in room laundry full size kitchen appliances, separate kids rooms and the two full bathrooms and the walking distance to the beach

If you want to come out and try a few different wineries, this is a great place to hang your hat. They offer a private theatre room to watch movies but it does book up fast so I recommend putting your name in. They have a nice little restaurant/bar located in the resort however, they close early and there is no room service, so pack a little extra if you’re a late night snacker.

For almost $3000 for three nites; not worth it, way overpriced / the added extra fees per night added up to over $100 per night, like really! The destination market fee, [a total cash grab], should be charged once, not for each night. This place is just ok, its a four star at best, the room we had was just ok, this is not a Sandals. A total cash/money grab.

Very nice resort, large rooms, complete kitchen, washer and dryer. Nice pool, good restaurant.

I very rarely post bad reviews. In fact, I’m very generous with reviews and go out of my way to support local businesses as much as I can. This place came fully recommended and while the room and amenities are excellent, this is NOT a place to bring your kids. We booked here as it was recommended for families. There is a pool with waterslide, a beach and other kid friendly things. My children are well behaved and other than heavy normal natural walking of younger preschool children, they are relatively quiet. After the first night, at around lunchtime we got a call from the front desk telling us that we have had complaints for being too loud and jumping and disturbing neighbours. And to please stop jumping. I apologized and felt terrible, humiliated and it ruined our holiday. I realized this can’t have been reasonable. It is the middle of the day and the rest of our stay I spent yelling at my kids to tiptoe and talk quietly. They were not jumping ever. That was not worth it and I can’t believe the front desk would call and make such a an unreasonable request.

Great stay at the Cove in West Kelowna family with a group of families. Great location with a nice marina for easy boat rentals. Very late check in at 5pm and front desk manager was not overly friendly.

This is our corporate team’s go-to place to stay for business and family trips. Perfect location overlooking the lake, fabulous on-site dining and a great pool (with water slide!) to keep the kids entertained. Service is phenomenal from booking through to check-out. Special thanks to Caitlin who is very professional, kind and quick to reply to our team’s many requests! She makes it a seamless process and we are truly grateful! Highly recommend staying here - the staff will make it an exceptional vacation!

This is the jewel of west kelowna. From start to finish the staff was amazing and so nice. We brought a friend for her birthday, they gave her free dessert. So good. I will definitely recommend this restaurant with the highest of honors Thank you.

Great place to relax by the pool with view of the lake and greenery around. Excellent service by friendly and attentive staff. Requests for amenities were lightning fast even into the late hours and rooms were very well furnished and set up with everything you need for some time away from home. Kids of all ages enjoyed the water slide and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing.

Do not trust the website photos, they are not accurate. We stayed here last year and our room was great, absolutely beautiful. This year we booked the same room but ended up with a massive downgrade for the same ridiculous price. When I confronted the manager he was just a pre programmed robot that kept to his script. “It meets the basic description”. I would not recommend staying here and we will never come back.

We ate at the restaurant for a friends birthday dinner. The onion rings were super crispy and the creme brule was decadent. The portion sizes were very generous. Our server was attentive and helpful. Free outdoor parking is available for up to 3 hours for restaurant guests. You can register your licence plate easily at the reception desk in the restaurant on a little ipad style tablet. I will definitely keep it on my list of local places to grab a nice bite.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner here with one of our friends after a day on the lake. The service was excellent! The burger I had was definitely one of the best I have had in my life. Everything was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Upon arrival we found out the main pool was down for maintenance, despite the fact that we had called the previous week twice to confirm if the pool was heated and they were open for the season this was never discuss. The excuse give was the smaller secondary pool was function but became very crowded very fast.
The room was nice enough, but unfortunately we found the TV in the living room was not functional. The hotel did inspect it and repair it on the second day.
The rooms are also not equipped with blackout binds and the window to the main room was damaged and would not seal, allowing an excessive amount of noise preventing my new born baby from sleeping throughout the vacation. This especially became an issue when a landscaper spent the better part of 7 hours trimming one hedge with a gas trimmer.
We encounter a power failure on the second night, and being aware this is not the fault of the hotel, there were was not back up power. The evening after the power failure we attempted to use the firepits and they were not working due to a timer issue shutting down the natural gas supply. This also affected the barbeques and they did not address this till the following day.
At this point I requested to speak with management to express my discontent. The manager was off duty but contacted me the following day. I spoke with Matt, the manager on duty and he apologies the plethora of concerns and stated he would apply a credit of $250. **Credit was applied**. As I was holding my new born baby and did not want an adversarial interaction, I agreed.
We check the following day confirming the credit would be applied. Over the next couple of day we encounter several pending charge and credits and from the hotel. Finally on Tuesday of the following week we finally charged $250 more than the initial price quoted and no invoice.
Also note this is a timeshare property and this does come with some challenges for that reason.
I personally would not return to this resort or recommend it to anyone, especially at over $400/night. Highly disappointing.

Shared a 2 bedroom lake front suite. Room was great with two good size bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, sitting room, and a large balcony. Price was comparable to two regular hotel rooms in town. This was better for gathering socially and the view was fantastic!

Unfortunately the pool was not open for another week. Weather had been great and was 30 celcius when we stayed. I felt like the hotel missed a great opportunity to open the pool ahead of schedule and impress the guests. Many other activities also not available.

Ate at the restaurant one night and thought it was good.

Location was great for walks and access to the lake, but not a lot else nearby.

We had a beautiful week at The Cove Lakeside Resort. The location is great for hitting those Kelowna West wineries. Views were fantastic, fairly well equipped spaces (we stayed 2 bedroom with kitchen which was great for 2 couples). Lots of walking trails near by, firepits by the lake were fantastic. The pool was sadly not working during our stay and the hot tub definitely was neglected cleanliness wise, but outside of that we were pleased with our stay.

Fantastic lake view. Toiletries were missing. We were not provided with robes too. We opted for an AirBnB room in the resort and this was the reason stated for the lack of amenities. Staff is very friendly

Everything is great. I recommend everyone to go for Lakeview units with kitchen. If you are a small family or out to Kelowna with friends for partying, you will love stay in Lakeview rooms with kitchen. Everything is clean, staff is friendly and it feels like 5 star hotel, not 4 star!

Amazing stay while traveling to Kelowna. It is a quite place on the lake with excellent rooms and children slides next door which was a life saver. Unfortunately pools were closed but will try those out next time

Beautiful resort & accommodations! The service was excellent! My stay occurred as a workshop facilitor for a large conference on the premises, during which the ammenuties and support provided by staff were flexible, accommodating & cheerful from desk check-in to check out. Highly recommend️

Loved this resort. It exceeded expectations. We had a very spacious tastefully furnished 2 bedroom condo on 2nd floor which was meant to have mountain view but we still got a good view of the Lake. Great staff especially. Clean, well stocked bathroom and kitchen had new looking appliances and everything we needed. Just beautiful location on Okanagen Lake. I can't say enough of about our wonderful 2 night stay. Lots to see and do in the area and closeby.

The service was outstanding from Front Desk, to The Spa, the hot tub, and the restaurant!
Our room was south facing, which was amazing because it was a beautiful sunny weekend.

Have been coming to the cove for over 10 years. There is no better place in the region like it. They offer 2 pools with waterslide lakefront. There's a marina onsite and restaurant. The landscape of the property is beautiful and rooms are spacious and clean. The price is a bit on the higher side but you truly get what you pay for. Highly recommended
